WWE RAW 2/7/18 | My Coherent Review.

RAW was overall a skippable show that does offer me as a fan of professional wrestling, a piss poor build to extreme rules. Why you may ask? Well i'm gonna tell you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Let's talk wrestling shall we?

WHAT'S GOOD

Ember moon so far

WWE Photo

Now the match was fine but the reason why i'm putting in what's good is because since her main roster debut, she hasn't been pinned at all in the ring. That's awesome and even though she isn't been in a major storyline yet, she has impressed me a lot and trust me she will challenge whomever the RAW women's champion is later down the road.

The tag match between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins vs Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre

WWE Photo

That match was surprising good. The match ends with the revival costing reigns the wins which i will get there by the way. Now they announced that seth rollins will indeed face dolph ziggler for the intercontinental championship in a 30 minute iron man which is the only match i'm looking forward to besides the WWE title match. The only nitpick i have for this announcement is that shouldn't this match be a 60 minute iron man match considering that every PPV going forward is 4 hours long? Like i said, i'm only nitpicking.

WHAT'S OK

Authors of pain squash match

WWE Photo

I thought this match would happen at extreme rules but i was wrong. The match ends with both men delivering the final chapter to apollo crews. Again, a TOTAL squash match.

Curtis axel vs woken matt hardy

The whole B team imitating their opponents thing is getting old but anyways the match was ok. Curtis wins with the Axehole and yes that's what's his finish called. You're welcome.

Nia jax vs Mickie james

Again this match ended with a Samoan drop. Now the offical stipulation for this match is a Extreme rules match. I'm personally not invested in this feud.

Braun strowman threw kevins owens with the portable toilet off the stage

Is it just me or is it this final segment of the show feels like a parody of the roman reigns vs braun strowman feud last year? Anyways, if this is trying to making me feel some sympathy towards kevin owens then they did their job. Another match between those two will happen at extreme rules possibly in a gimmick match.

WHAT'S BAD

Bayley and sasha banks in counseling

Why? Why? Why's this happening? You're taking this intense feud and decided to make it a comedy act? Do you see William regal tell Johnny gargano and tomasso ciampa to go to counseling? Again i ask, WHY!? And i forgot to mention that this segment sucked.

Baron corbin demands an apology

Corbin believes everyone needs help reaching their full potential…

No baron. I and many others who watched this unfortunately, demand an apology for this awful segment. Watching batman and robin for a 5 time is more entertaining than whatever the hell this segment is and unfortunately this is leading up to a finn balor vs baron corbin match at extreme rules. Wow, what happened to finn balor really?

Mojo rawley refuses to face no way jose

WWE Photo

Now i mentioned in my review a couple of weeks ago that mojo looked good in this new intense persona but you're not gonna make me care if you're making mojo refusing to face no way jose AGAIN.

This again

Now i respect roman for being in two matches but i ask, why i'm i seeing this for the third week in a row? Micheal cole mentioned that the reason why this match is happening is because the revival asked for it which doesn't make one tiny bit sense considering that they beat them last week. Roman is gonna face bobby lashley one on one at extreme rules and i once again with this terrible build to extreme rules , don't give a single crap about this feud. At least on the RAW side.

I'm curious, what do you think about RAW last night? sound off in the comments below and if curious as to my thoughts of dave meltzer's rating system then click here. WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

WWE Smackdown 4/2/22 | A Coherent Review.

Gotta be honest guys, this episode didn't do it for me.  Besides the announcement of Ronda Rousey challenging Charlotte Flair for the blue women's belt at Wrestlemania as well as another challenge proposed by Goldberg aka NoBerg to the tribal chief, this, like last week's show, was as skippable as an anime filler episode.  Paul Heyman Was Like, "F**k That Brock Guy!"  Brock and Paul legit need some counselling because they've broken up and reunited together like my relationship with the Call of Duty franchise. To quote Gordon Ramsey, "DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!"  All lame banter aside, Paul Heyman's promos before Goldberg's appearance was the only good thing throughout the entire show.  As far as how I feel about the idea of Goldberg facing Roman Reigns at the upcoming Elimination Chamber show, major Ls on this one.   Ricochet vs Ridge Holland.  Yay, the "one on one match that later turned into a tag match" cliche. The difference is t...
