WWE Smackdown Live 31/7/18 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown has been killing it with their summerslam build. In other words, that episode was great. Why you ask? Well i'm gonna give you what's good and what's ok and the reason why there's no what's bad is quite obvious. Now with the review.

WHAT'S GOOD

The Bar vs The Usos semi finals match

WWE Photo
That was a great match. New day having their own commentary team was amazing. Absolutely comedic GOLD. Anyways the match ends with sheamus reversing the uso splash into a roll up to win this match. Advancing into the finals to determine the number one contender for the tag teams championship. Yes the match was filled with commercial breaks but again, great match.

Samoa Joe's promo

Joe admits that he respects Styles for building his house on SmackDown LIVE and making the WWE Title the most important championship in WWE.
Look. It's no secret that samoa joe can cut a great promo. However, that promo was great. His promo was basically about how AJ is a great champion but he's doesn't care about his family keeping this feud personal in the process. The promo ends with samoa joe telling AJ Styles that he will return to his family but not as WWE champion instead it's going to be joe. Another great promo by samoa joe and in my opinion, i could name only a few wrestlers in the WWE who's in level of samoa joe in terms of mic skills.

Randy Orton looking vicious

... and wipes the face paint off of his enemy.
I thought this was great. The great thing about this is that he was taking away jeff hardy's identity by beating the crap out of him and again i thought this was great. With nakamura delivering a kinshasa to jeff before this, it looks like were gonna have a triple treat match for the united states championship (No shit, omar).

Daniel Bryan calls out The Miz

Miz promises Bryan that his WWE Career is over and that the WWE Universe has moved on.
This entire segment was great and the best thing about this segment is that the miz basically stated that daniel bryan calling him out makes him a hypocrite considering that bryan walked out after the miz cut his best promo on talking smack. And he mentioned bryan's WWE contract expiring on September which was the whip cream on top of my starbuck's frappuccino.

WHAT'S OK

Zelina Vega vs Lana
WWE Photo
Decent match. The match ends with aiden english helping lana from outside distraction but that didn't stop from vega winning this match with the roll up. Meanwhile aiden english explained lana as to why he came out to help her and she doesn't want to listen to him. Out comes rusev and lana was upset that rusev wasn't by her side during the match with zelina vega. Like i said on my last week's review, sad emoji.

Charlotte vs Carmella

The fight is on!
Surprisingly, this was the second time that carmella had a decent match. Not a bad effort by carmella. Anyways, the match ends with Charlotte delivering a figure four leg lock to carmella to win this match making a triple treat match and at first i hated this win considering that carmella lost a match twice hence making her look weak going into summerslam. However, i thought of becky lynch's facial expression after Charlotte won the match and immediately i didn't mind the win simply because they're teasing a heel turn from becky after Charlotte wins the title which i see that happening from a mile away. Maybe when a heel becky wins the championship, they could do a asuka vs becky match at wresltemania but will see.

WWE Smackdown 26/11/21 | A Coherent Review.

This episode of Smackdown is a great example of the words, "unnoteworthy" and "skip that sh*t" because damn, nothing actually happened here.   Images via WWE.com   Roman Was Like, "Rumours Give Losers False Hope".  That statement above didn't make it clear whether it's about his next challenger or the fact that he's talking sh*t about the folks that wanted all three spidermen in the upcoming No Way Home movie.  A pretty minimal opening segment that wasn't too noteworthy but it did solidify the effectiveness of Roman's words.  Drew McIntyre And Jeff Hardy vs Happy Corbin And Madcap Moss.  Speaking of things that aren't noteworthy. The good guys won. Cool.  Ridge Holland vs Cesaro.  Nothing screams WWE writing than some good old fashioned 50/50 booking. I will say, those two guys so far, have pretty good chemistry as seen by a good bout. Cesaro won with a roll-up (aka the most protective move in all of professional wrestling).  Rick B...

WWE RAW 1/8/22 | A Coherent Review.

With Triple H making some changes for the overall WWE creative process and the end of the "Jeff Jarrett weekend", I gotta make some changes as well (at least for the site) because this is going to be the last solo RAW review since I'm going to combine both of my thoughts on RAW and Smackdown called "the cohesive WWE perspective".  So yeah, how was RAW? Well, It was one of the best episodes I've seen in a VERY long time. I guess no more, " RAW Is as insane and bad as the current season of Riverdale" jokes, right?  Becky remembered who she was during her encounter with Bianca Belair.  That promo ruled and as a guy that didn't like her heel run all that much since her comeback last year, I gotta say that I'm glad she's going back babyface due to the fact that heel Bex was so vanilla for my liking.  After Bianca showed some respect to the man, the new trio known as Io Sky, Dakota Kai and Bayley attacked Becky's injured shoulder.  They a...

WWE Wrestlemania 38 Night One | A Coherent Review.

Another year, another BIG, ENORMOUS, HUMONGOUS, THE BBC OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING AND MOST STUUUUUPENDOUS Wrestlemania.  And how was the first night of Wrestlemania? It was prettay, prettay, pretty good. By far the best Wrestlemania I’ve ever covered in almost 4 years of doing the “wrestling media” grind.  So, Elliot Moore narrated this year's opening video and it's decent. Eh, at least it's better than whatever the hell Mile 22 was.  The Usos vs Shinsuke Nakamura And Rick Boogs For The SmackDown Tag Team Championship.  A solid way to kick off this year's "Endgame" of WWE storytelling. Rick Boogs' knee gave out after a double fireman's carry attempt (get well soon, Ricky). The match ended with a 1D to *Boog's voice* Shinsuke NAKAMURAAAAAAAAAA!  The household of the tribal chief must be really happy and no, I'm not referring to the Usos' cooking. This division is as dead as the creativity of WWF 1995 so I don't know where the blue tag be...
