WWE SmackDown Live 19/6/18 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown live was a great show and does the job to build off extreme rules. Why you ask?  Well i'll give you what's good, what's ok and what's bad in non chronological order.  And yes i know Big cass got released today. Apparently he got fired in a meeting that was called by Vince McMahon and not in front of everybody at Smackdown live in Toledo,Ohio according to good old dave meltzer of wrestling observer newsletter. Reason is unknown yet but we'll find out sooner rather than later. All righty then, lets go *Sami Zayn theme*.

WHATS GOOD.

Jeff hardy

I loved enigma jeff hardy as a kid (yes i'm young) but this promo was awesome and gave me brother nero vibes to it. Hoping WWE brings back the theme song" No More Words" that he used back in late 2008 till almost late 2009 but that's probably not gonna happen. That will add a nice touch to this jeff hardy in my opinion. This feud with jeff and shinsuke makes sense considering that shinsuke low blowed him last week and gives a reason as to why hardy has a grudge on him. All i can say is, jeff needs to do what styles didn't do is put a metal object on his crouch. Nakamura is a weird human being is all i'll say.

Nakamura's backstage promo

Well that was hilarious. To be honest, i thought heel Nakamura would suck but i was definitely wrong. So, good on WWE creative to convinced me otherwise.

daniel bryan's backstage promo

I know, a different GIF but nevertheless that promo was awesome and if WWE creative keeps on doing this the this is a great tool for great long term storytelling.

Rusev winning the gauntlet match on RUSEV DAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! *adien english voice*

Now that was great and the match itself was pretty good and i'm glad that rusev is getting a HUGE opportunity like that. They have face each other before but in a PPV, this should be a good match.

WHAT'S OK

becky lynch vs billy kay

The match was fine. And again, i know i'm not talking about what's bad here yet but the iconics have been unbearble to watch as of late. Especially their horrendous promo last week and the sad thing is, it's not their fault really.

usos vs sanity

I mean it was a impressive showing by sanity. That being said, i'm not invested all in this feud but probably will like it overtime.

Gallows and Anderson vs  Bludgeon brothers

Decent match. Bludgoen brothers wins here with a powerbomb tag team finish. Interested as to why they aligned themselves with the miz in the main event. Anyways, should be interesting in the coming weeks.

WHAT'S BAD

The opening segment

That segement was really similar to RAW's opening segment. The whole cliche swerve from babyface to right back being a heel promo. Asuka, being pissed at the finish two nights ago (Guess what asuka, so do i). Like i said in my money in the bank predictions, this iteration of carmella reminds me of chris jericho from late 2001, early 2002 as WWE undisputed champion in the sense that he goes on about how he beats the rock and stone cold steve austin in the same night to become undisputed champion while carmella goes on about how she beat Charlotte twice and at money in the bank, asuka. Another thing i have a problem with this segment is that asuka looked stupid in this segment i mean why WWE is giving her the dumb babyface cliche? I have NO IDEA.

I'm curious, what do you think about smackdown this week? let me know in the comments and yes my money in the bank review will be up later this week. Anyways stay safe smarks.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
