Money In The Bank 2018 | My Late Coherent Review.

Hello my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to my late coherent money in the bank 2018 review. Overall, a very good show but it had some problems which i'll get there in a bit. By the way, shoutout to MrPHENOMENAL15 for this sick artwork. Click here to check his deviant art profile to see his other sick artwork (tell him i said hi).

WARNING! i wrote this before RAW and smackdown this week and the reason why i'm not changing anything is because it's interesting to read people's prediction on something and see which came true or not. At least in my opinion. Anyways, on with the review.

Big cass vs Daniel bryan

Decent opener. Should have gone with the intercontinental championship (go to my seth rollins vs elias match below as to why). The spot with daniel bryan jumping from the ring post to big cass was cool but nevertheless it's better than their match at backlash.

WHAT'S NEXT:

I honestly don't know what's going to happen with big cass or daniel bryan. i hope they evolve big cass's character into something else rather than "look at me, i'm big".

Bobby Lashley vs Sami Zayn

The positive thing about this match is that the match ended. Bobby lashley wins here. A TOTAL squash match.

WHAT'S NEXT:

No more shitty feuds please.

Seth Rollins vs Elias

What can i say about this match. This is a great match with countless near falls. At one point, elias delivers a devastating clothesline to seth rollins on the ring apron that almost killed seth. My favourite part about this match was elias countered a suicide dive from rollins, threw him in the barricade, threw him down the steel steps, threw him back in the ring and delivers a PICTURE PERFECT elbow drop to seth. This is elias's best match and like i said earlier, should've opened the show.

WHAT'S NEXT:

Will definitely see a rematch (which i don't mind) at extreme rules or in a episode of RAW filled with commercial breaks. I however prefer at extreme rules.

Women's Money In the Bank Ladder Match

By far THE MATCH OF THE NIGHT and by far better than last year's match. Definitely match of the year candidate. Lana especially looked very impressive in this match. Did an accolade to alexa bliss which got a huge pop from the crowd. Alexa in the end, grab the money in the bank briefcase and wins here and to be honest, not a fan of the finish and here's why. I feel like the whole point of a money in the bank match is that you take a midcard wrestler and take that midcard wrestler to the next level and alexa bliss is not a midcard wrestler. She's a five time women's champion. Three from RAW and two from smackdown and if anything, she needs to stay away from the championship picture.

WHAT'S NEXT.

Looks at my Ronda Rousey vs Nia Jax match review below.

Roman Reigns vs Jinder Mahal

Just by watching this match you can tell the enthusiasm coming from the Chicago crowd (sarcasm of course).  To be honest, i was in the bathroom and missed most of the match but because my TV was so loud i could hear chants such as CM punk, boring and this is awful. Roman wins with you guess it, a spear.

WHAT'S NEXT:

This feud will somehow continue until Brock (remember him?) comes back and faces him at summerslam for the universal championship and all i can is GOD i hope i'm wrong.

Carmella vs Asuka

The match itself was fine nothing special. Carmella wins here with the returning James ellsworth. Like i said in my predictions post, this MAKES NO SENSE considering that she treated ellsworth like shit. For instance, how she chains him with a dog belt?

WHATS NEXT:

Asuka will get her rematch but with a gimmick match of some sort at extreme rules next month.

Aj Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura

This is the best match of the rivalry. Countless edge of your seat moments despite that i hoped that there's no fuck finish which luckily that didn't happened. One of my favourite moments of this match is how it ended even though we've seen this spot before but it never gets old to me. Aj styles wins here with the phenomenal forearm through the table with the count to 10.

WHAT'S NEXT:
I originally wanted a styles vs samoa joe feud for the WWE title but a hardy vs joe for the US title sounds interestings to me. So i honestly don't know. Very interesting to see what's gonna happen with the WWE championship picture. If the feud continues then the match at extreme rules should be a kick in the crouch match. I'm only kidding.

Ronda Rousey vs Nia Jax

Surprisingly, this is a good match. I swear to god ronda rousey looked like she's been wrestling for ten years. I expected to be a DQ finish considering that bliss won the women's money in the bank match earlier but Alexa bliss had other plans. She comes out and beats the CRAP off of ronda, cashes in her money in the bank contract and delivers a DDT to nia and pins her to win the RAW women's championship for a fifth time. Alexa bliss aka female triple H. In my opinion, this should have been natalya cashing in.

WHAT'S NEXT.

Not surprised if they announced a triple treat match at extreme rules or WORST, a one on one match between Nia jax and alexa bliss.

Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match

I actually liked the aspect that the new day will announce which member is entering the ladder match. Gives us the viewers a reason as to why you should watch the show. Only to find out that is kofi kingston entering. If that's the case then he should win the whole thing considering that he's been in six money in the bank ladder matches. Disappointing but nitpicking a side, is this match any good? Yes. Braun strowman just kicked ass in this match. Throwing Kevin owens through the two tables near the stage, breaking the ladder match in half by pushing bobby roode and finn balor. Rusev delivering a TRIPLE accolade. Finn balor delivered a coupe de grace from the top of the ladder through the table i mean i could on and on about the spots in the match. Two ladder matches from both wrestlers that don't need their wins that night.

WHAT'S NEXT:

If they're planning to do a cash in at summerslam (which i see that match happen by the way) then i don't mind.

My question is, what do you think about this pay per view? agree or disagree? Anyways, i hope you like this review. Follow me on twitter at @omar_playa for further wrestling discussions and subscribe to this blog for my coherent opinions and stay safe smarks.

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.  The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"  With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.  Eddie Kingston (wi...
