How I became a professional wrestling fan

As this title is quite obvious, I love professional wrestling (Brother love's voice). I consume it every single week. Whether one week RAW and smackdown sucks ( FYI I don't watch NXT only the Takeovers) and the next is actually pretty good. I absolutely love it. However this story is how I became a professional wrestling fan.
Let's rewind the time back to 2007. I was seven years old and as you can tell, I miss out on "some things" and my childhood friend told me that I should watch WWE or more specifically Monday night RAW! (vince mcmahon voice). It was the raw after the royal rumble and the thing that got me intrigued was the undertaker. He was going to choose who he's gonna face at wrestlemania 23 and it actually made me watch smackdown considering that he was part of that show. I then, searched some of undertaker matches and it blew me away. Matches like taker vs triple H, taker vs flair, the one episode of raw where taker defended his championship against jeff hardy and taker vs psycho sid (that last part was a joke). It then got me watching raw and smackdown every week and then eventually the Pay per views.
I know, it's not the best story but I was bored and had some free time. I hope you in some way, enjoyed this story. Fell free to comment how you became a professional wrestling fan or some of your first wrestling memories and stay safe guys.

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

WWE Smackdown 16/7/21 | A Coherent Review.

Yay. Crowds are back which means *in the tone of BackStreet* What chants boys are back!  All lame jokes aside, it feels weird to see a full crowd once again in WWE programming.  It almost felt like it was a new invention and not something we've had for what it feels like an eternity now.  And WWE actually tried here because this episode was enjoyable as a whole.  Vinnie Mac with his uncreative, fickle a**, welcomed the most oppressed group (beside gamers) in human history aka wrestling fans to SmackDown.  Images via WWE.com Roman Reigns And The Usos vs Edge, Rey And Dominik Mysterio.  The live audience got electric for the Rated R superstar and I can't say that I blame them.  Speaking of the fans, they were into the bout until it ended via a roll-up from Jey Uso to Rey Mysterio. All 3 guys then attacked each other in a post-match beatdown but Edge stood tall in the end.  This is one of those bouts where the crowd made it into an 8 out of 10 instea...
