WWE Summerslam 2022 | A (first PPV review since Wrestlemania) Coherent Review.

I've been so inconsistent with my content this year with me posting way less stuff than in my almost 4 years of inserting fart jokes in every piece (to the point where I haven't reviewed a PP….. Excuse me, PLE since this year's Wrestlemania) and I'm so sorry for that, my bot accounts and a particular head of PR.

With all of the BS out of the way, how was Summerslam? Almost 2 years ago, WWE produced one of the best Summerslams despite the sheer circumstances. Last year's? Not so much.

The *looks at the quarterly earnings* $90 million dollar question is, did this year's show deliver like Summerslam 2020 or was it a stinker like Omos' wrestling ability? It was somewhere in the middle like Dolph Ziggler's career but felt longer than an AEW PPV.

But, if I had to give it a thumbs up or down, it's an easy thumbs up.

Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch For The RAW Women's Championship.

Those ladies delivered once again. The KOD on the barricade was *chef's kiss*. The match concluded with Belair walking out of Nashville still the women's champion but before the EST did that, she along with Becky Lynch, encounter the returning Bayley, Io Shirai (now Iyo Sky) and Dakota Kai.

A babyface turn for big-time Bex? Also, LETS FREAKING GO, BAYLEY!

Logan Paul vs The Miz.

A white ally vs a non-white ally? You know who I'm picking. All lame jokes aside, the match was decent. Gotta admit, that frog splash from Logan was pretty good.

It's sad seeing the only role that AJ Styles' played (on a show like Summerslam) was throwing out Ciampa but it is what it is, I guess.

The Miz took his own medicine due to the fact that Logan Paul defeated the former 2 time WWE champion with the skull-crushing finale.

Bobby Lashley vs Titan For The United States Championship.

Yes, I'm calling Theory Titan on the headlines because he looks like an attack on Titan character. Also, the match ended quicker than Butterbean's knockout over Bart Gunn. Lashley wins via the hurt lock.

Rey And Dominik Mysterio vs The Judgement Day In A No DQ Match.

Besides the opening and the closing matches, this one is my favourite despite the sad fact that Retribution had a better build as a stable than The Judgement Day.

Edge's impactful return is what led to a 619 from the Mysterios to win the match.

Edge went from dressing like a Fox News anchor to now a lead singer of a 20-year-old band that will always be better than anything Fozzy puts out.

Pat McAfee vs Baron Corbin.

Another decent match for what it was. During the bout, Corbin was messing with Michael Cole which honestly is better than a 70-something-year-old man yelling at Cole.

McAfee won the match with I'm assuming a sunset flip of sorts.

The Usos vs The Street Profits For The WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship.

A match so mid (especially compared to their fantastic match at Money In The Bank), that even Jeff Jarrett couldn't save it.

Now, who's surprised that The Usos retained the red and blue tag belts?

Seth Rollins and Riddle brawled so hard, that AEW is blushing right now.

Liv Morgan vs Ronda Rousey For The Smackdown Women's Championship.

Nothing too noteworthy happened in the match itself but we all saw a side of Rousey that should've been showcased since her return earlier this year (aka a possible heel turn).

The match ended with Liv countering the arm bar into a pinfall victory but Ronda's shoulder wasn't all the way down in all 3 pinfalls.

Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar For The WWE Undisputed Universal Championship In A Last Man Standing Match.

After Drew McIntyre was done hyping up the crowd like he's Fatman Scoop or something, both Reigns and Lesnar probably had the best match since their first encounter at WrestleMania 31.

The right person in Roman Reigns won the match and all I can say is, that the claymore is coming (what a lame way to end a review).

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar, Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch, BAYLEY, DAKOTA, IO, Logan Paul's frog splash, Michael Cole's 2003 self is coming back, heel Ronda.

Didn't like: that thing was long as f**k.

WWE Smackdown Live 30/10/18 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown Live yesterday was a skippable show other than the opening segment and match in my opinion. Now usually on my RAW/Smackdown Live review, I break down what's good, what's ok and what's bad. For the first time, I'm only gonna tell you what's ok given that this show was again a skippable show and here we go.  WHAT'S OK The opening segment  This is the probably one of if not most noteworthy moment this week mainly because as you might know, there were reports going around that John Cena and Daniel Bryan were out of Crown Jewel and the reports are indeed true and it makes sense, especially for John Cena considering that he's an actor now and he needs to maintain his PR status. The segment itself was decent. Loved both guys' intensity and that segment leads to a WWE championship match and speaking of which............. Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles  Decent match. Expected a better from these two but again, decent nevertheless but...

WWE Smackdown 24/4/20 | A Coherent Review.

This week's Smackdown show was decent but it wasn't as strong as the previous weeks and *hits his head a few times* here's why.  The New Day Celebrates Their Title Victory. The show kicked off with the now 8th time WWE tag team champions, The New Day and like the title above, they were celebrating their big title win last week (No sh*t, Omar).  During the segment, Kofi mentioned that there's nothing wrong with pointing out that they have more title reigns than The Hart Foundation, Edge and Christian, Demolition, The New Age Outlaws etc because it's them being proud of their accomplishments.  Out came Lucha House Party, The Miz and John Morrison and they pretty much said that they deserve a title shot. The Forgotten Sons showed up to tell The New Day, Lucha House Party and every other tag team watching that they will never be forgotten.  They lived up to that statement as the Forgotten Sons destroyed Lucha House Party and The New Day.  ...

WWE RAW 28/12/20 | A Bit Late Coherent Review.

Before I start this review, I wanna say rest in peace to Jon Huber better known as the person behind the character of Luke Harper and Brodie Lee.  It was a tough, painful 3 days for the pro wrestling industry and I certainly felt that.  If there's one thing I've learned from the number of great stories being told by the people he has worked with is that Jon is a charming, funny and overall a fantastic human being that loves his family.  After reading the countless amount of fantastic tribute posts (including from the likes of Molly Belle of Wrestle Inn and Andrew Thompson of Post Wrestling ), that bit about Jon as a family man made me think of my current relationship with my father and the ways I'm trying to improve from my standpoint.  I know this is a cheese pizza saying but tell the people you cared about that you love 'em because that line might make their day.  So. Thank you, Jon Huber, for being the light that brightens everybody's darkness.  Now, Ho...
