WWE RAW 20/6/22 | A Coherent Review.

RAW was okay. That's it. That's the intro.

Bianca Belair vs Rhea Ripley for the red women's belt ain't happening!?

The reason being is that Rhea Ripley isn't medically cleared to compete so a fatal five-way number one contender's match was set up to determine the new number one contender (spoilers, it's Carmella).

A decision I do not mind or flat out hate.  My 1 and a half viewers will know that I've been critical of WWE's series of rematches but considering it was one of the best matches of the year (yes, I'm talking about Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch), why not run it back one more time?

Riddle vs Omos. Money In The Bank Qualifying Match.

Y'all are about to be so surprised when I tell you that Omos won a match again.

Omos wins with the double chokeslam to qualify for the Money In The Bank ladder match.

Seth Rollins showed up (used the "forehead loser sign" like every uncle in the 90s to Riddle), stated that he'll be the next Money In Bank briefcase winner and gave Riddle the good old stomp. Nice!

Yay! Another Meaningless Vince McMahon Segment.

Vince was just hyping up John Cena and I gotta ask, for why?

Yay! Another Pose Down From Austin "Attack On Titan" Theory.

Luckily, Bob Lashley ruined the whole segment by getting rid of Titan. Cool.

Angelo Dawkins vs Jey Uso.

A decent match for what it was. Despite the vicious super-kick Dawkins took, the former RAW tag team champion was still able to defeat Jey Uso with the Low Down.

Kevin Owens Is Still CONVINCED That Ezekiel Is Elias Even After The Elias And Ezekiel Backstage Segment.

The worst part about this segment was that Kevin believes that being French Canadian correlates with intelligence.

Elias gave Owens a beating because why not, right? All jokes aside, it's great to see Elias after a 9 or so month hiatus.

Bobby Lashley Against Alpha Academy And Titan Theory.

No, it isn't a handicap match but rather a gauntlet match (how 2019 of you, WWE). And after what it feels like an eternity, Lashley emerged victorious even with the odds stacked against him.

AJ Styles Called "A Failure" By Miz On Miz TV.

Styles responded that minutes later with a strike using the mic to The Miz. Styles then had a match with Ciampa and successfully defeated the former 2-time NXT champion with a phenomenal forearm (literally a Wrestlemania-worthy match).

Sucks that Ciampa is replacing the role of Finn Balor in being kinda there.

After that, Miz failed in his attack on Styles and instead, he ate a styles clash.

Veer Mahaan proves once again in an interview with Kevin Patrick that he is indeed an Indian Gigachad.

Asuka vs Becky Lynch. Money In The Bank Qualifying Match.

Hey look, a good match. Asuka defeated Becky Lynch to win the match and qualify for the Money In The Bank ladder match.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Asuka vs Becky Lynch, chad Veer Mahaan.

Didn't like: Vince McMahon, a whole lotta meh, Ciampa replaced the role of Balor as being kinda there.

The 5 News Week: Yet Another Update Regarding NXT Moving To Tuesdays.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.   Some Images via wwe.com Leyla Hirsh Signed With AEW All The Way Back In October? Leyla Hirsh is an extraordinary talent that I assumed was signed recently based on the official announcement from the man with a great Bernie Sanders impression, Tony Khan.  However, in a virtual signing for High Spots Wrestling Network , Hirsh revealed that she was signed with the elite brand all the way back in October (shout out to Andrew Thompson of Post Wrestling for the quotes): "I don’t even know if I’m allowed to say any of this but, my first week on Wednesday night, I faced [Hikaru] Shida [on AEW Dark] and that was great and then there was an incident with — there was a match that was supposed to happen with the girls and it didn’t because there was an injury and then th...

The 5 News Week: An Interview With ROH's Eli Isom, Fans Singing Petitions For Charlotte Flair Not Winning Titles Anymore!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. An Interview With ROH's Eli Isom.  Yes. After several and several and several of The 5 News Week articles that I've been putting out since late 2018, I finally got an interview for you guys.  The person in question is Ring Of Honour's Eli Isom. Since graduating from the ROH Dojo, Isom has worked and learned from the absolute best in the industry:  "I’m lucky that I got a chance to train from scratch with ROH, without that kind of training who knows where I’d be right now." So, without further ado, here is the conversation I had with Eli.  Omar: My first question is, how would you describe the persona of "Eli Isom" to resident WWE shills like myself? Eli Isom: For me, my wrestling persona isn’t too far off from who I real...

How Naomi's Royal Rumble 2020 Return SHOOK Black Twitter.

If you haven't been watching WWE for 10+ years, well first off, why are you here and secondly, can I be like you because I'm jealous?  Let me recap who Naomi is. She is a wrestler, actor, dancer, singer and a former women's champion who's been with WWE for 10 years.  In other words, Naomi is a future EGOT winner and you cannot tell me otherwise.  Thanks to her persona that resonated with the audience whether as a heel or a babyface, she has built up a following that is "ride or die" for the former funkadactyl aka stans which I am a part of.  Why? Because if there's one thing I have in common with Stan Twitter is that we love to call white people "ageing at the speed of crack".  She may be throwing glow sticks like an early 2010s Ellie Goulding music video, but she's a capable talent that can hang with the best of the best.  But, you read the title. This ain't about a career retrospect about Naomi (although I don't mind doing so), but ...
