WWE Smackdown 7/1/22 | A Coherent Review.

Are you ready for a GOOOOOOOOD time!" Well, not really since I found out about my workin…….. I mean productivity schedule.

Enough about my sad adult life, how was Smackdown this week? It was surprisingly enjoyable considering how mediocre Smackdown has been as of late.

Brick Laser Beam Approach The Tribal Chief For A Title VS Title Match.

And the universal champion was like, "We'll do this my time" aka it's happening.

The Brook man questioned the way Heyman praised the blue champ which led to a superman punch from Roman to the WWE champion.

I don't hate this idea. Bring it on, I guess?

Rick Boogs vs Sami Zayn.

You know Zayn has been underutilized when he got a jobber entrance. Rick wins the match. Oh, and Johnny Knoxville threw Sami over the top rope. Again, WHO!?

Charlotte Flair Show Us The Participants For This Year's Women's Royal Rumble Match.

I can't believe WWE did this. Summer Rae is coming back and all I can say is, HIDE NATALYA!

All lame jokes aside, It is awesome to see Mickie James joining this year's Royal Rumble match especially since they announced her (at least on Twitter) as the Impact knockouts champion especially since WWE rarely acknowledges the wider wrestling landscape.

An interaction with Naomi followed with a pretty good match even though Sonya pulled a Susan once again by screwing over a black woman.

The Viking Raiders vs Happy Corbin And Madcap Moss.

There was a Happy Corbin and Midcap Moss segment that I definitely cared about as much as WWE cares about their workers.

The Viking Raiders lost to the team of Happy Corbin and Nocap Moss.

The Usos vs The New Day For The Smackdown Tag Team Championship In A Street Fight.

A great match but I do believe this should be the end of these two guys competing with each other at least for a while.

The Usos retained the blue tag belts with the 3D to Kofi Kingston through a table.

A match that feels like it was teased for almost a year now is finally official because Roman Reigns is facing his former Shield comrade, Seth Rollins for the blue belt at the Royal Rumble and the way Seth Rollins showed up to Roman's room was f'ing hilarious.

Can't wait to see how these two guys interact over the next few weeks or so.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like:  Usos vs New Day, Charlotte Flair vs Naomi, the announcement of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins match at the Royal Rumble.

Didn't like: Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss segment, #SamiZayndeservesbetter.

WWE Smackdown 4/2/22 | A Coherent Review.

Gotta be honest guys, this episode didn't do it for me.  Besides the announcement of Ronda Rousey challenging Charlotte Flair for the blue women's belt at Wrestlemania as well as another challenge proposed by Goldberg aka NoBerg to the tribal chief, this, like last week's show, was as skippable as an anime filler episode.  Paul Heyman Was Like, "F**k That Brock Guy!"  Brock and Paul legit need some counselling because they've broken up and reunited together like my relationship with the Call of Duty franchise. To quote Gordon Ramsey, "DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!"  All lame banter aside, Paul Heyman's promos before Goldberg's appearance was the only good thing throughout the entire show.  As far as how I feel about the idea of Goldberg facing Roman Reigns at the upcoming Elimination Chamber show, major Ls on this one.   Ricochet vs Ridge Holland.  Yay, the "one on one match that later turned into a tag match" cliche. The difference is t...

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...
