A Few News I Guess: AEW's Presence INCLUDED In The Royal Rumble!?

Since this week's news is as slow as a Monday Night RAW episode, I decided to showcase a few news, I guess?

AEW's Presence INCLUDED In The Royal Rumble!?

With talks of the "forbidden door" especially pertaining to Mickie James' upcoming Royal Rumble match appearance as THE knockouts champion, rumours have been circulating regarding AEW's presence on one of the big 4 that could make AEW fans' cholesterol increase.

Fortunately for the showerless individuals, they can rest now if they believe what Dave Meltzer of thewordmarkislikethenword.com has heard from his snitches.

In the Observer Newsletter (from WrestlingInc), Meltzer specifically mentioned that there is NO AEW involvement whatsoever this coming Saturday.

I, for one, love the idea of breaking down the "forbidden door" because it benefits the industry as a whole whether it's for the people working in the business or the people outside of the sector that are just fans.

Fingers crossed that a surprise may happen at the Royal Rumble (and I'm praying to Allah that it isn't Dan f**king Lambert).

REASONS As To Why FTR Wasn't On Dynamite This Week.

The hogs from North Carolina were supposed to face the team of Lee Johnson and Brock Anderson but the match didn't happen. The odd part about this is that the entity didn't inform the world as to why they weren't on this week's Dynamite.

And you know who got you on the scoop? It's the obvious AEW shill, Dave Meltzer BAYBEEEEEEEE!

According to the man with a 1000 bad takes (again from WrestlingInc), the tag match was removed for "medical reasons".

The article I just quoted from, noted that it may be COVID-19 related but has mentioned that they're alright.

Wrestlers COMPLAINING About The WWE Creative Team!?

Aka something both fans and wrestlers can relate to in this case.

According to the podcast that isn't based on the TV show Mad Men, many performers have aired out their frustration on the WWE creative process "compared to just a few years ago" which is especially prominent amongst the top dawgs over at Titan Towers.

I mean, kinda based!?

What do you think about the news I just reported and follow me on the tweets @omartheplayaguy? Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.  The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"  With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.  Eddie Kingston (wi...
