WWE Smackdown 17/12/21 | A Coherent Review.

Another week, another meh episode of Smackdown although the ending was pretty eye-opening.

The Viking Raiders vs Jinder Mahal And Shanky.

After a backstage segment that included The Usos roasting Xavier Woods' kingship, the blue brand really started the show with a match (not this one) which is a rare thing to see on main roster television. And the match wasn't bad at all.

The Viking Raider defeated the team of Jinder and Shanky with a splash from Ivor.

Does everyone want a Happy Corbin segment? Well, no and Drew McIntyre agrees as he took out Corbin and Madcap Moss to retrieve his sword which sounds like a bad King Arthur comedy flick or something.

Naomi Wants A Match With Sonya Deville.

Naomi is upset at how Sonya Deville acted like a Susan over the past few months so the glow queen challenged the actual manager to a match at Day 1 and Sonya was like, "Ahhhh, no".

Naomi then had a match with Shayna Baszler and within minutes, Naomi won with the most protective move in professional wrestling, the roll-up.

We're going to see this match one way or another (this is my exclusive scoop so if you somehow stumbled on this site that is the wrestling media's equivalent to a straight to DVD movie, please credit me but who am I kidding? Y'all would probably link the site and not the actual article).

Cesaro vs Ridge Holland.

Two European men slapping meat? Nice. Cesaro took the Distraction finish magic spell this time by Sheamus which led to a bodyslam from Ridge to Cesaro and the big oi bruf wins.

Sasha Banks And Toni Storm vs Charlotte Flair And Shotzi.

Apparently, according to Michael Cole, Sasha Banks was at the premiere of Spiderman: No Way Horn and all I can say is, OMG MEPHISTO?

Like Spiderman: No Way Horn, the tag match was actually pretty fun to match. Toni Storm was THE highlight of the match and that momentum of hers paid off here as she pinned the women's champion with a roll-up.

The Usos vs The New Day.

Aka the "beat the champion on an episode of wrestling TV in order to get a title opportunity at a PPV" cliche.

However, I can't complain too much as they had a decent match.

The New Day wins with a trouble in paradise to Jimmy Uso.

Roman Reigns Backstabbed Paul E Dangerously.

That was after he told Roman that he's protecting the tribal chief from the laser God himself, Brook Laser. Out came the beast himself and he laid waste on the entire bloodline.

Alexa, play I Love You by Lil B.

I like the ending for a few reasons. One, Heyman does all the talking for Brock Lesnar again seeing that the guy's mic skills is his weak spot.

Two, the story finally reaches its turning point which I've been waiting for months now and credit to the creative team for actually not rushing the entire arc up like they usually do with big-time rivalries.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The ending, Sasha Banks and Toni Storm vs Charlotte Flair and Shotzi.

Didn't like: nitpicking but not a fan of the "beat the champion for a title opportunity" cliche, another bad Happy Corbin segment.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
