WWE RAW 13/12/21 | A Coherent Review.

Another week, another watered down and downright mid-episode of Monday Night RAW. The show once again, did bring the yawn. A LOT of it, in fact.

Bobby Lashley Wants A Title Opportunity.

The Bob of all Lashleys is added into the WWE championship title picture if he defeats Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and my man, Big Eoooo Wangston which he eventually did.

Like pretty much all of the white dudes with podcast reviews of Monday Night RAW longer than an AEW Rampage episode, I'm not a fan of the champion taking a pin for the sake of adding someone into a title match.

The word that comes to mind with that booking decision is "uninspiring".

Otis vs Riddle.

In a backstage segment before this match took place, Randall wasn't a fan of Riddle's idea of wearing a light brown blazer with the WWE logo but he did tell Riddle that if he defeats Otis then Randall wouldn't mind Riddle wearing that blazer in the near future.

I'm not gonna lie, I did agree with the first 6 words of that entire description.

Did Riddle defeat the closest thing to a villain from a 90s family movie, Otis? Hell Nah. The big man stood tall at the end by knocking out Riddle and Randy Orton. Cool.

Bianca Belair vs Doudrop.

By far, the best thing about this episode because I really like this match. Those two women had excellent chemistry and I wouldn't mind a rematch based on what happened post-match.

The definition of the word Black Excellence, Bianca Belair, defeated Doudrop with the 450 splash.

After a verbal back and forth, Becky Lynch gave Liv Morgan some damage on one of her arms by stomping her multiple times on the darn steel steps. Why did this segment feel so underwhelming and downright boring?

With both talented women featured, you would think they'll carry this into a somewhat decent segment, right?

Dana Brooke avoided the likes of Tamina, Reggie, R Truth and so on, from taking the 24/7 championship. WHO IN THE RED CHILI POWDER F**KING CARES!?

Finn Balor And Damian Priest vs Dolph Ziggler And Robert Roode.

If you love Distraction finishes then this match is for you. Thanks to Austin Theory, Ziggler and Roode walked out of the arena as the winner. Cool.

Oh, and Vince McMahon gave Austin Theory the most dangerous weapon. No, it's not the ability to come up with incest storylines but rather a pencil.

Rhea Ripley vs Queen Zelina Vega.

A match that should've been one-sided but as the saying goes, nothing is immune to the distraction finish as that's how Ripley lost the match. Cooool.

Yay,  Another Miz TV Segment.

Edge ruined Miz's egocentric celebration which led to a skull-crushing finale to Edge after the Rated R superstar stopped the moment Maryse was in front of Miz.

Maryse wasn't a fan of how Miz blindsided her so she simply just slapped the guy.

Who's asking for a feud based on a match you've seen many times on a 2009 episode of Smackdown?

And finally, the last thing that happened in this episode was…………... AJ Styles and Omos are cool now as if they weren't cool in the first place.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Bianca Belair vs Doudrop.

Didn't like: Another dull, yawn-inducing episode of RAW.

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

WWE Smackdown 4/2/22 | A Coherent Review.

Gotta be honest guys, this episode didn't do it for me.  Besides the announcement of Ronda Rousey challenging Charlotte Flair for the blue women's belt at Wrestlemania as well as another challenge proposed by Goldberg aka NoBerg to the tribal chief, this, like last week's show, was as skippable as an anime filler episode.  Paul Heyman Was Like, "F**k That Brock Guy!"  Brock and Paul legit need some counselling because they've broken up and reunited together like my relationship with the Call of Duty franchise. To quote Gordon Ramsey, "DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!"  All lame banter aside, Paul Heyman's promos before Goldberg's appearance was the only good thing throughout the entire show.  As far as how I feel about the idea of Goldberg facing Roman Reigns at the upcoming Elimination Chamber show, major Ls on this one.   Ricochet vs Ridge Holland.  Yay, the "one on one match that later turned into a tag match" cliche. The difference is t...
