WWE NXT 2.0 30/11/21 | A Coherent Review.

NXT this week wasn't as bad as last week. It was still kinda average overall but I didn't have a sense of boredom throughout the show.

Kay Lee Ray vs Dakota Kai In A War Games Advantage Ladder Match.

Aka the *Scottish accent* Glasgae vs The kiwi in a solid opening match.

Kay Lee Ray climbed up and grabbed the briefcase to win the War Games advantage.

If I was taking part in the match, I'm hoping the war games advantage contract included me not wrestling and standing there like a battle royal match or something.

Cameron Grimes vs Andre Chase.

This match and what happened after it was meh.

After Grimes' defeat over Andre, Duke Hudson showed Grimes the bald version of the North Carolina native and like all people with hair that isn't receding, it pissed Grimes off.

Msk finally met the shaman at least that's what I've concluded based on the smoke coming out of the room and the bright a** light.  Do I care about this? Nope.

Kyle O'Reilly And Von Wagner vs Legado De La Fantasma. Number One Contender's Match.

Remember when Kyle O'Reilly was fighting for the NXT championship? Good times.

At least his team won the right to be part of the NXT tag team championship, right?

Tiffany Stratton prepares her upcoming NXT debut by going shopping. If she shopped on the chaos that is Black Friday, the debut would've been delayed by several months.

Edris Enofe vs Solo Sikoa.

Speaking of NXT debuts. And unfortunately for Enofe, he lost his match to Solo Sikoa because Sikoa's big and to quote the late Paul Mooney, "so mo n***as".

Unlike a Paul Mooney stand up, nobody cares about Boa showing up to brawl with Sikoa.

Joe Gacy's All-Inclusive Invitational.

Joe Gacy with his lamest attempt at being a white saviour, decided to fight anyone regardless of size, race or even gender.

That last part solidifies my perspective that Triple H has definitely nothing to do with NXT 2.0.

Out came The Diamond Mine and Strong gave the guy an elbow strike which led to Gacy immediately leaving the ring.

Cool?

Indi Hartwell And Persia Pirotta vs Yulisa Leon And Valentina Ford.

Like Malcolm Bivens, I am now a Persia Pirotta fan because God damn, that woman is impressive in the ring.

And It's all thanks to her that she and Hartwell won the match.

Bron Breakker vs Johnny Gargano In A War Games Advantage Ladder Match.

Bron held himself pretty well with NXT's own Johnny Gargano (or soon to be former NXT's own?)

The man with (Alhamdulillah) 2 Ks in his last name, wins the advantage ladder match.

All I have to say here is that this was a fun bout from top to bottom.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The two War Games advantage ladder matches.

Didn't like: Nothing really?

The 5 News Week: An Interview With ROH's Eli Isom, Fans Singing Petitions For Charlotte Flair Not Winning Titles Anymore!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. An Interview With ROH's Eli Isom.  Yes. After several and several and several of The 5 News Week articles that I've been putting out since late 2018, I finally got an interview for you guys.  The person in question is Ring Of Honour's Eli Isom. Since graduating from the ROH Dojo, Isom has worked and learned from the absolute best in the industry:  "I’m lucky that I got a chance to train from scratch with ROH, without that kind of training who knows where I’d be right now." So, without further ado, here is the conversation I had with Eli.  Omar: My first question is, how would you describe the persona of "Eli Isom" to resident WWE shills like myself? Eli Isom: For me, my wrestling persona isn’t too far off from who I real...

The 5 News Week Look Back At Each Individual Highlight Of Zack Ryder, Lio Rush as Cruiserweight Championship, The Writer Behind The Otis And Mandy Rose Story.

April 15th, 2020 is a memorable day for me. It is definitely the saddest and noteworthy day of not only mine and the fans' lives but as well as the performers and staff who were affected by this. I am of course referring to the day that WWE released dozens of talented, hard-working people.  For those who are new, I usually report on the 5 major or minor news of the week and that was the original plan.  However, since this week is probably going to be known in the future for the releases, I want to instead document 5 of the performers and staff's individual highlights in their tenure with WWE.  Understand that without the hardworking wrestlers, producers, ring crew, writers and the rest of the staff doing what they do best, there wouldn't be a Playard Wrestling Post. Without further ado, Ladies and gentlemen, this is The 5 News Week Look Back.  How Zack Ryder's Popularity In 2011 Played A Role In WWE's YouTube Strategy Today.  It's hard to believe ...

Priscilla Kelly Used A Tampon In A Wrestling Match: Right Or Wrong?

If you have been away from social media for the past day or so, a wrestler by the name of Priscilla Kelly (who by the way, recently competed in the second Mae Young Classic tournament) competed in a match in which she pulled out her tampon and put it on her rival's mouth. That struck the wrestling world on Twitter with differences of opinions. She did respond to this on Twitter and here's what she had to say: Hey guys. Ya know, it's all fake. 21+ show with a bar. Can't take life so serious all the time. Call me what you will... 🌹 — The Priscilla Kelly (@priscillakelly_) January 5, 2019 What do I think of this? I don't understand why this became as viral as it is considering that we've seen hardcore, brutal, disgusting stuff in a wrestling match before. However, it did get an "ugh" reaction out of me.  Was it right or wrong that she did this? My answer is none considering that wrestling is subjective and there's no such thing ...
