WWE SmackDown 29/10/21 | A Coherent Review.

The blue brand has been really mediocre in recent weeks and this episode was no exception.

Charlotte Flair Was Like, "I'm Done Facing Sasha Banks. It's Time For Newcomers"

That newcomer is Shotzi Blackheart or just Shotzi as she's now known and she got a number one contender's match against the champion herself which is another trope that I absolutely dislike especially since we just saw a number one contender's match as the main event attraction in the latest episode of RAW.

The match between Shotzi and Charlotte, ended with Shotzi losing the golden opportunity for being in the championship picture.

Post-match saw Shotzi's frustrations getting the best of her as she absolutely gave Banks a beating, signalling a heel turn in the process.

Banks doing the beating instead would've fit the scenario a lot better than what I've seen here because that heel turn is as unnecessary as putting oil in boiling water for pasta making.

"Hot old white guy" Adam Pearce, fined Brick landliner (Brock Lesnar for you slow mofos) a million dollars. This man said you're going to be fined multiple "racks on racks on racks" every day.

Heyman's response? Well, he "accidentally or not" advocated for Lesnar. Oh my.

Meanwhile, Xavier Woods honoured Kofi Kingston as a Knight. Cool.

Shinsuke Nakamura And Rick Boogs vs Happy Corbin And Madcap Moss In A Trick Or Street Fight Match.

A very unnoteworthy match. Thanks to Angel Garza and Humberto Carrilo, the bad guys prevailed in this match up. At least Garza and Carrilo are getting some showcase, right?

Naomi vs Shayna Baszler.

Sonya Deville is messing with Naomi once again by announcing that the referee for this match is injured due to the "devastation caused by Brock Lesnar (Bork Lasker if you’re autocorrect) last week".

So, Deville became the ref instead and of course, some shenanigans happened during the bout.

Deville with the quick count, awarded Baszler as the winner of the match.

I don't think this leads to that good old heel turn for Naomi since the division is a bit bloated with heel personas.

Will see what happens next because I'm interested in this angle.

Drew McIntyre's Open Challenge Was Answered By……….

Mustafa Ali and he lost because that's why WWE does to underutilize talents (*cough* like Sami Zayn). After the match, Mustafa pulled a "you people" promo that I've heard a million times at this point.

What a way to end an underwhelming episode of Smackdown with an underwhelming finish, am I right?

The New Day vs The Usos.

Nothing to say other than it was a decent encounter. The New Day picked up the victory which means a title match is happening soon and I don't mind it.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The Naomi storyline is intriguing.

Didn't like: Shotzi's heel turn was unnecessary, an overall sense of blandness throughout the episode.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
