WWE Smackdown 15/10/21 | A Coherent Review

Smackdown was probably the only time in current WWE TV that I didn't feel the time slot.

Keep in mind, I live outside of the US and I was watching this IN THE FREAKING MORNING.

Oh, and the show was a solid program.

Backstage, Sethy Enjoyed Edge's Promo Until……….

Edge mentioned his wife and I thought the promo was going in the "wide eyes open" direction but instead, he basically said that he'll end the saga of himself and Seth inside Hell In A Cell.

It was a decent promo but isn't noteworthy.

Rollins' entire dialogue later in the night? Well, that's a different story. Seth is just so good at playing a goofy pick, it's pure comedy at this point.

I mean, if his "101 dalmatians" look doesn't convince you of his comical ways, I don't know what is.

Finn Balor vs Sami Zayn. King Of The Ring Tournament Semi-Finals.

Other than the Xavier Woods and Ricochet encounter, this tournament has been nothing but a quick snooze fest, honestly.

I love both guys but damn, this match was not for me. Finn advanced in the finals with the coup de grace.

Naomi vs Sonya Deville And Shayna Baszler.

Sonya played as a POS so well here and it did a great job of building some empathy and compassion towards Naomi and her current struggles within the WWE Kayfabe universe as seen by her unfortunate loss to Naomi.

Yes, the match length is too damn short (a common pattern in the women's division, unfortunately) but in this instance, the circumstances made sense here.

Carmella vs Zelina Vega. Queen's Crown Tournament Semi-Finals.

Speaking of a "quick snooze fest" tournament. Zelina Vega is now in the finals. Cool.

Happy Corbin Wasn't Happy After Shinsuke Nakamura And Rick Boogs Interrupted His 'Happy Talk'.

Happy Corbin's fit looks like a pastey Floridian. Now, was my comment funny? Maybe but my lame jokes should tell you that I didn't care about this entire segment.

The Street Profits vs The Usos For The SmackDown Tag Team Championship In A Street Fight.

Finally, some good f**king wrestling. The Usos retained the tag team championship with a double frog splash to Angelo Dawkins.

To be frank with you guys, I wouldn't hate a rematch later down the line but this is probably the end of their series of televised matches.

Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch.

I love Sasha Banks but what was that wrestling fit? It is as confusing as her Covid takes.

Nevertheless, the match was really good which isn't surprising considering how well they know each other. Their chemistry translated pretty well inside the squared circle.

Belair's intentional assist led to a victory from Sasha Banks.

Brocky Brock And His Saucest Supreme, Made Roman Mad Again.

The entire contract segment was Heyman sh*tting his pants in fear while Brock was like, "I read the contract thanks to my advocate, Paul Heyman".

I don't know who's sillier, this Brock Lesnar or the Lesnar that danced with a mariachi band 17 years ago.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Silly Brick lasersword, Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch, Street Profits vs The Usos, "101 dalmatians' ' Seth Rollins.

Didn't like: The King Of The Ring and Queens Crown Tournament.

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

The 5 News Week: WWE Backstage. Cancelled Or Nah?, Liv Morgan's Re-Debut Was Supposed To Be Different!?

I'm back on my BS because it's The 5 News Week where I report on the 5 major or minor news of the week hence the name "T he 5 News Week".  Sorry for the week of absence. I took a week off of social media (except YouTube) due to the sadness I felt when reading those brave women and men tell their stories about the awful, terrible experiences they've had after their interactions with notable people in the industry.  It made me question my fandom and whether I should be in the industry (wrestling media-wise) knowing that they are asshats that will take an advantage on people for no reason other than more power and control.  This week proves that the business needs to wash all the old tropes that make it harder for people to express what's really going on especially when it pertains  to serious issues like sexual assault, racism, sexism etc.  I'm hoping that those stories will lead to a sudden change in every aspect of this profession and other ...
