WWE Smackdown 12/3/21 | A Coherent Review

Like Monday Night RAW this past week, Smackdown was a skippable show for the most part that didn't do much for me regarding Fastlane.

Unfortunately, It was really underwhelming.

Edge Reflects On Both Daniel Bryan And Roman Reigns.

The headline above is pretty much the gist of the promo but Edge did bring up some of the quality of pro wrestlers he's faced throughout his tenure.

Daniel Bryan made his way to the ring and he respects Edge but his focus wasn't on the ultimate opportunist.

Edge, while also sharing mutual respect, doesn't like how Bryan came up to the universal title scene and that's how the opening segment ends.

Nothing to write home about. I will say, Daniel's promo was pretty good mainly due to his sheer passion.

Overall, this was decent.

The Street Profits, Rey And Dominik Mysterio vs Otis, Chad Gable, Dolph Ziggler And Robert Roode.

It's odd to see Dolph Ziggler and Otis teaming together given that they were feuding over Mandy Rose last year.

By the way, That tornado DDT from Dominik to Roode was BRU. TAL.

The good guys won the match thanks to Montez Ford's beautiful frog splash on Roode.

Jey Uso and Paul Heyman had a verbal interaction regarding his losing effort to Daniel Bryan last week.

Meanwhile, in a backstage interview with Kalya Braxton, Seth Rollins mentioned the Cesaro swing that he took last week and he, of course, wasn't too happy with it.

Meh.

Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler and Reggie went shopping for various suits. Huh?

Cesaro vs Murphy.

Really? Again? The match ended via a DQ because Seth Rollins interfered and proceeded to beat the guy.

Edge tried to inspire Jey Uso but Jey wasn't having it.

The KO Show. Special Guest, Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair.

Sasha Banks was glowing about herself and Bianca Belair was like, "Nah, I ain't taking that".

And that was the entire segment. Why can't this be the majority of the build includes the women's tag team champions?

The team of Natalya and Tamina actually defeated the potential Wrestlemania main event, Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair by pinning Belair.

What. the. F**k?

Big E's Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge.

Before he had to face his challenger in Sami Zayn, Big E had some not so good words for Apollo Crews basically saying that he'll beat the hell out of Apollo and offered him an IC Title bout at Fastlane next week.

Oh, and Big E won the match in case you were curious.

Daniel Bryan And Roman Reigns Contract Signing For The Universal Championship.

Bryan told Reigns about how Roman is too scared to sign the contract and how Daniel is better than Reigns.

The big dog with no hesitation, signed the contract but Jey Uso wasn't having the disrespect to Roman Reigns.

So, Jey requested to be the special guest referee for the blue championship at Fastlane.

Edge showed up and asked for a match between him and Jey next week on Smackdown with the winner being the special guest referee and Adam Pearce made that match official.

The end segment didn't do much for me to, be honest. It was fine for what it was.

It does open up to a possible triple threat match between Roman Reigns, Edge and Daniel Bryan and you know what?

I don't hate it.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: (for the most part) the opening segment.

Didn't like: A sense of disappointment throughout the episode.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
