WWE RAW 15/3/21 | A Coherent Review.

Another mediocre episode of Monday Night RAW that provided nothing that would at least intrigue me going into Wrestlemania.

Drew McIntyre Has Some Words For The Almighty.

Before Drew McIntyre squares off with The Miz, McIntyre congratulates Bobby Lashley for the WWE title victory and is sympathetic with Bobby Lashley's journey to get to the top.

However, the Scotsmen warned Lashley that he'll take that championship come Wrestlemania.

Lashley then attacked McIntyre to which The Miz attacked McIntyre.

It wasn't noteworthy or anything but this segment was aight.

Now. You thought that Drew is actually going to lose to The Miz? WWE will never have their challenger lose (if you can't tell, I'm being sarcastic).

Drew won with the Full Nelson submission which is obviously sending a message to Bob Lashley.

Braun Strowman Challenged Shane McMahon To A Match Later In The Episode.

Strowman told Shane O that he's been bullied by people like Shane (that has to be a lie) but Shane's upbringing doesn't make Shane smarter than him (Wow, so inspirational).

McMahon replied basically calling Braun stupid in ways that would only make himself laugh.

Strowman then challenged Shane O to a match and Shane accepted.

Hours later, the match happened and pretty much, Shane produced some simple exercises that Braun obviously can't follow because HE'S AN IDIOT!

After Shane put Braun through an announce table with his signature elbow drop, he poured the guy with green slime.

This entire feud is basically,

"you're dumb".

"I'm not dumb! Let's have a match."

This is engaging storytelling according to Titan Towers.

R Truth with his Stone Cold impression, is celebrating 3/16 day even though it's tomorrow. Meh.

Naomi And Lana vs Mandy Rose And Dana Brooke.

This match was known for one thing, Asuka's return and she kicked Shayna's head off.

Asuka's getting more vicious and I like it. It is a change of pace that is needed for the Asuka character.

Meanwhile, Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose picked up the victory. Cool.

Damian Priest and Bad Bunny had a tense verbal interaction with The Miz and John Morrison.

Moments later, Bad Bunny actually gave R Truth the 24/7 championship. What a gentleman.

Damian Priest vs Jaxson Ryker.

After Damian Priest had defeated Jaxson Ryker, Elias tried to hit Priest with the guitar but it was prevented by Bad Bunny.

John Morrison distracted both guys that led to The Miz hitting Bad Bunny with the guitar.

Alexa Bliss challenged Randall Keith Orton at Fastlane for a match.

The Fiend is coming back. Please, credit the site for this scoop.

Riddle vs Mustafa Ali For The United States Championship.

This match was decent.

Ali's Retribution stale unfortunately and unintentionally helped Riddle retain the championship via a distraction followed by the Broderick.

Asuka vs Shayna Baszler.

Asuka wanted to shatter Shayna Baszler's teeth and the ref wasn't having it.

So, the match abruptly ended but as I said earlier, this "not giving a sh*t" side of Asuka is needed.

This is the first time I've seen WWE giving character's some development on the women's division on RAW since probably Alexa Bliss several months back.

The New Day vs The Hurt Business For The RAW Tag Team Championship.

Look, this match was good. However, the outcome was so predictable yet disappointing at the same time.

I wish that Shelton and Cedric would hold the championship for a while but it is what it is.

The New Day captured the tag belts for the 11th time. AJ Styles showed up and he challenged The New Day for the belts at Wrestlemania. I guess that match with Triple H ain't happening.

Should be a fun encounter.

Bobby Lashley vs Sheamus.

The WWE champion defeated Sheamus with the spear that had me praying for Sheamus' hips.

Drew McIntyre showed up and Claymore kicked Bob Lashley to end this week's episode of Meh Night RAW.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Asuka's vicious side, The New Day vs The Hurt Business.

Didn't like: Shane McMahon and Braun Strowman bit.

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.  The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"  With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.  Eddie Kingston (wi...
