WWE Smackdown 2/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

Yo, Smackdown this week flew by real quick.

It felt shorter than any NXT episode when it aired exclusively on the network.

That doesn't mean the episode was great. It was good though.

The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns Called For A Rematch With Jey Uso At Hell In A Cell.

The speaker for the Tribal chief, Paul Heyman, puts over Roman Reigns.

However, Reigns doesn't want Heyman to recognize him as the Tribal chief but rather he requested Jey Uso to acknowledge him instead.

Speaking of Jey Uso, he came out to tell his cousin that he showed his true colours.

Reigns played the victim saying that it was the worst night of his life and how he just wanted to help him.

The universal champion then gave Jey Uso the opportunity to face him at the Hell In A Cell.

What a way to kick off this program. The storyline is at its highest level right now.

By far, the best thing about Smackdown other than Alexa Bliss and her story with The Fiend.

Jey Uso vs AJ Styles.

Before the match, AJ Styles was talking sh*t about Jey Uso that led to a brawl between those two men.

At one point, Styles delivered a suplex to Jey on the table that absolutely looked brutal.

The match ended with a superkick followed by the Samoan splash to win the match.

While the encounter was decent, Jey Uso did pin a former WWE champion and that's a big deal.

In a backstage segment, Sami Zayn threw the quote on quote "fake" intercontinental title in the bin because according to Zayn, he was the champion all along.

Meh.

Otis vs John Morrison.

*Major sigh*. I've seen this match more times than I've seen Avengers Endgame at this point (I almost teared up just typing that).

Worst part? The matches weren't even that good. Otis wins with a Vader like splash.

Sheamus vs Shorty G.

Apparently, we're getting a falls count anywhere match between Big E and Sheamus.

Oh, and Sheamus won against Shorty as if anybody was curious or even cared.

The KO Show. Special Guest, Kevin Owens.

What better way to talk about the draft next week then have a RAW guy show up on Smackdown, right?

Owens brought up Bliss' change in personality to which she "doesn't know what Owens meant by that" and stated that people change.

Alexa then further elaborated that she was cleansed by The Fiend and saw nothing but the truth.

Bliss called upon The Fiend and Wyatt choked out Kevin Owens with the mandible claw.

Alexa Bliss was absolutely FANTASTIC in this saga that they're currently telling.

She and Bray Wyatt are the two best character wrestlers right now.

Part of the reason why is that they make you believe in the roles they're portraying.

Matt Riddle And Lucha House Party vs King Corbin, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.

This was aight I guess? The goods guy won the match with bro Derek on Cesaro.

The mysterious woman we've seen for the past few weeks was none other than Carmella.

No surprise there. But, does this mean we're getting heel Carmella?

If so, I AM ALL IN!

The Boss, Sasha Banks Announced Something Surprising.

That something is a Smackdown women's championship between herself and Bayley, not at Hell In A Cell but for Smackdown next week.

After all that build, you mean to tell me that the feud will lead to a match between them on a random Smackdown episode?

I could somewhat understand if it was setting up for Hell In A Cell.

A very odd decision being made by creative but I'm hoping it will guide to something more intriguing.

Sami Zayn vs Jeff Hardy For The Intercontinental Championship.

I didn't know how those two guys delivered a great match days after a chaotic match because this bout was really good.

Zayn's blue thunder bomb will always be a beauty to witness.

He, unfortunately, didn't win with that move but he did win the match by pushing Jeff onto the exposed turnbuckle.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The opening segment, KO Show segment, Sami Zayn vs Jeff Hardy, possible heel Carmella comeback?

Didn't like: Otis vs Morrison AGAIN.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
