WWE Smackdown 18/9/20 | A Coherent Review.

Other than a few nitpicks, I thought the blue brand this week produced some decent programming and here's why.

The Dirt Sheet.

So, what's going on in the Dirt Sheet?

Well, they mostly talked about Mandy Rose's trade to Monday Nights and how Miz is trying to help Otis focus on cashing in the contract.

The big man had enough as he and his partner Tucker Knight laid waste on them.

Oh, and Miz was stripped down by Otis that had Miz exposed his "tighty whiteys".

We're starting this show with a feud that I don't give two sh*ts.

That ending especially was cheap lame humour.

"Haha, look at Miz wearing undergarments you know, like everybody else".

Cesaro vs Gran Metalik.

This was a decent match.

The rest of the Lucha House Party were kicked out of ringside by the referee.

A babyface team getting kicked out instead of a heel team? Well, that's rare.

Cesaro won the match clear as glass with the neutralizer.

Jey Uso told Kalya Braxton that Sheamus and King Corbin will enter Usos' penitentiary.

A Moment Of Bliss. Special Guest, Nikki Cross.

The most notable thing about this segment was when Nikki Cross asked Alexa Bliss why Bliss delivered the sister Abigail on her last week?

Bliss explains it saying that it's something odd that she felt and cannot control it as a result.

Lacey Evans spoiled the therapy session telling Cross that she's too nice and lacks some mean streak.

That led to a bit of brawl and minutes after a commercial break, the bout between Evans and Cross was set.

Lacey Evans vs Nikki Cross.

During the match, Evans put some hand sanitizer on Nikki Cross' face.

Which, it is legal, MICHEAL! Nikki wins with the twisted neckbreaker.

After the match, Alexa had an odd look once again and she delivered the sister Abigail on Lacey Evans.

Gotta give Alexa Bliss a shout out for that acting. I mean, if I'm mistaken, her eyes didn't blink.

WWE aired a video highlighting the feud between Jey Uso and Roman Reigns and it was fantastic.

The only thing I have to nitpick about this is that in the beginning, they showed three generations of the Orton family and yet they didn't do that with the Henning family.

It only showed Larry Henning and Curt Henning aka Mr Perfect but not Curt's son Curtis Axel aka Joseph Henning.

Again, I'm just nitpicking.

Also, the Matt Riddle promo about the ways you can say "bro" was AWFUL.

Riddle's main roster run isn't good so far other than his match with John Morrison a few months back.

A Sasha Banks Interview Weeks After Bayley's Attack On Her.

Banks with emotion in her eyes, says that she and Bayley built the performance centre together and accomplished their goals together.

Banks then said that Bayley is nothing without Banks and one day, she will take the women's title from Bayley.

Bayley from outta nowhere attacked Banks.

But thankfully, the officials avoided Banks from an even more brutal beating from the SmackDown women's champion.

I enjoyed the promo from Banks.

It's emotional and it's relatable as we at some point have been backstabbed by a long time best friend one way or another.

The thing I HATED about this segment is how the commentary sold it with emptiness like the beatdown from Bayley a few weeks back.

Like, you guys are human beings, right? Why can't you react with concern?

AJ Styles vs Sami Zayn.

This match was really good. Styles won the match with a roll-up to which Zayn nailed a forearm on Styles from behind.

Out came Jeff Hardy and he struck Zayn with a ladder.

Then, Hardy announced that the triple threat Intercontinental championship bout will be a ladder match. I’m now looking forward to this triple threat match.

As a guy that doesn’t like Zayn’s heel run, I would like to see him win the championship for some reason.

Apparently, Otis was sued by The Miz and if he refuses to go to court, he should forfeit the Money In The Bank contract. Cool.

Big E came back with a vengeance by brutal beating up that security guard. You happy guys?

Big E is written to be serious now.

Roman Reigns And Jey Uso vs Sheamus And King Corbin In A Samoan Street Fight.

I find it hilarious that even the commentary team doesn't know what makes the Samoan street fight different from other street fights.

The match itself was surprisingly fun.

The crowd had little to no noise in this which I was surprised by.

Roman delivered the spear followed by a Samoan splash from Jey Uso to win this main event encounter.

After the match, Roman was WAY too friendly with his cousin but the tone on his face changed once Jey left the ring.

A beating from Roman Reigns to Jey Uso is coming VERY soon.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Sasha Banks Interview, Samoan street fight, AJ Styles vs Sami Zayn, Alexa Bliss' performance after the Lacey Evans and Nikki Cross match.

Didn't like: The opening segment, Riddle promo, the commentary's reaction to Bayley's attack on Banks.

If you have been a fan of this site since January, then you'll know that I've completely rebooted my review process and now, I'm doing that again.  Don't worry, the format for my RAW, Smackdown and PPV reviews will still be the same but not on Wednesdays. So, here it is, My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays.  NXT The Highlights. Adam Cole vs Matt Riddle For The NXT Championship.  A match that opened this episode of the yellow brand, the original bro and the leader of The Undisputed Era tore the house down.  Whether it's Cole reversing the fireman's carry from Riddle into a backstabber, Cole hitting a Panama sunrise twice, a floating bro or the crowd chanting "Adam Cole, bro", it was a visual statement by NXT that the yellow brand is THE brand to watch.  Unfortunately,  Riddle felt short and ate the last shot but there was another highlight I wanna talk about….. Finn Balor Returns To N. X. T.  It's not a typo my friends, Finn ...

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...
