WWE RAW 13/7/20 | A Coherent Review.

I didn't like this show. Thankfully, this episode didn't pull a Smackdown but because of how well last week's show went, I felt really underwhelmed watching that.

MVP Lounge. Special Guest, Dolph Ziggler.

WWE Photo

Montel Von Porter welcomed his guest that shares a common hatred for Drew McIntyre and that guest is, of course, Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler compliments the new United States championship design to which MVP let him know that he'll talk to his people and get a new WWE championship design once the show-off, wins the championship (and honestly, Ziggler's got a point, the WWE Title needs a new design).

WWE Photo

Dolph further tells MVP that he's the reason why Drew defeated Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania for the WWE title.

Out came the Scotsmen himself and he basically said that he'll beat the crap out of him and Dolph got a bit of that with a punch. An enjoyable segment.

The thing I kind of appreciate about this feud is that Dolph doesn't announce the stipulation of the WWE championship bout. It gives a reason for the audience to tune in. But, unfortunately, y'all know whether Ziggler's taking an L or not.

The Viking Raiders vs Angel Garza And Andrade. Elimination Tag Team Match.

WWE Photo

Andrade eliminated one half of the Viking Raiders, Erik with the hammerlock DDT but the other half, Ivar eliminated Andrade with a kick thanks to Angel dodging the move.

The match ended with a powerbomb pin of some sort from Garza to Ivar and that's how Vega's clients won this bout.

WWE Photo

Is it just me or is it that The Viking Raiders have been written so weak on television as of late?

They were so special as a tag team and their uniqueness was sucked off. It's unfortunate for a tag team like the Viking Raiders.

Ruby Riott And Bianca Belair vs The IIconics.

WWE Photo

Yes, you read it right. This isn't a typo. Bianca Belair was introduced during a backstage segment. Belair was the notable one in this match. The good guys won with the KOD to Billie Kay.

Shayna Baszler is Back!!!

WWE Photo

After a cringey 24/7 segment with Akira Tozawa, Ricochet, Cedric Alexander And R Truth, Baszler showed up to the ring and beat up a bunch of Akira's Ninjas.

She then grabbed the microphone and stated that Shayna Baszler is going to give the division a dose of reality.

Finally! She looked great when she beat up those Ninjas and the promo was short yet simple to understand.

WWE Photo

I'm glad the creative Gods brought her back after two months of absence on RAW and the same can be same for the EST of WWE.

In a backstage scene, Murphy was worried about Seth being in an eye for an eye match at Extreme Rules this coming Sunday.

Seth told him that nothing of significance happens without sacrifice and how Rey Mysterio simply asked for this.

Seth Rollins Reflects On The Eye For An Eye Match.

WWE Photo

Speaking of the man that sacrifices people, Rollins is trying to comprehend why Rey Mysterio had chosen that stipulation.

His sacrifices, to brief what the Messiah said, are for the great good of Monday Night RAW and how Rey Mysterio is avoiding that sacrifice.

Rollins proclaims that the match will be a horror show and an end for Rey Mysterio. Kevin Owens comes out and he called Seth a scumbag.

WWE Photo

Seth Rollins' response? Bringing in some backup in Murphy but Owens got some help in Aleister Black which led to Black's match with Murphy.

I've enjoyed this feud since the moment Rollins damaged one of Rey Mysterio's eyes but the segment didn't enhance nor did it derail my enthusiasm for the eye for an eye match.

Aleister Black vs Buddy Murphy Followed By Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens.

WWE Photo

As you can tell from the title, both matches happened back to back and they were okay. Black's match with Murphy ended with a DQ (Rey Mysterio and Dominick showed up after the DQ finish).

The next match? It ended with a win from Owens due to some outside shenanigans. I don't mind the L Seth took because of the outside craziness going on.

WWE Photo

Also, do I want to see Aleister Black vs Murphy AGAIN? The worst part is that the bout wasn't that great.

Ric Flair told Big Show that he wants Show to go into the hall of fame healthy and without an injury.

The big man replied saying that Ric Flair should think about when Randy's viciousness will affect Ric's closest friends.

Randy Orton vs R Truth.

WWE Photo

Before the match, Orton told the world among other things that it'll be a shame if Ric Flair will destroy the family-like friendship he has with Randy Orton.

This promo kind of answered my question as to why he didn't beat up a legend like Ric Flair. Nevertheless, it was decent.

Oh, and the match concluded with an RKO. Then, Randy tried to hit the punt kick but The Big Show came to the rescue.

Orton challenged Big Show to an unsanctioned match next week on RAW and Show accepted it. Randy's probably winning that match.

Ricochet vs Bobby Lashley.

WWE Photo

The match they had before okay but like the Murphy vs Black match, do I really want to see it again? Lashley wins with the Full Nelson submission.

Cedric was about to save Ricochet but he also took the full Nelson submission.

I forgot to mentioned this on last week's review but where are Apollo Crews in this feud? It weird not to see the champion in a championship rivalry.

The Kabuki Warriors vs Bayley And Sasha Banks For The Women's Tag Team Championship.

WWE Photo

An okay main event tag team title match. Kairi Sane did the insane elbow drop which the way Banks sold it was straight perfection.

Moments later, Banks locked in the bank statement and just like that, Bayley and Sasha retained the tag team championship. Can't wait for the RAW women's championship match and I'm sure most of you guys agree.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The opening segment, Shayna Baszler and Bianca Belair returning.

Didn't like: Where the hell was Apollo Crews?, The repeat in certain matches like Ricochet vs Bobby Lashley and Aleister Black vs Murphy, the 24/7 segment, The sudden realization of how The Viking Raiders have been written.

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

Let's Talk About The State Of Wrestlemania 37.

I usually save those kinds of pieces for my weekly news series, The 5 News Week due to how modern this subject is and how my essays usually dwell on the past.  Usually, it is too early to talk about an upcoming Wrestlemania in October but not this time especially since we're still in a pandemic.  This is a topic I've been thinking about all month and I had to write my thoughts on it.  Let's answer this question right away whether Wrestlemania 37 will happen in SoFii stadium next year?  from CBS Los Angeles The answer is an obvious no. But, I want to try to dig deeper and see exactly where we stand today.  As of me writing this, Wrestlemania: Hollywood edition is still scheduled to take place in SoFi stadium despite an outlet that shall not be named, claiming otherwise.  This is either sheer blind optimism or downright idiotic from Dubya, Dubya E.  WrestleVotes did mention back in July that while the event is still going to take place in the stadium,...
