WWE The Horror Show At Extreme Rules 2020 | A Coherent Review.

Another show that ended in 2 and a half hours? WHAT IS THIS, THE EARLY 2000S!? Overall, I thought the horror show at Extreme Rules wasn't a horror show pun intended.

It was a good show but not without some of the typical head-scratching moments that come with the main roster PPV programs.

PRESHOW: Kevin Owens vs Murphy.

Nothing too special happened in this match. It was aight in my opinion. Owens won the bout with a superkick followed by a stunner.

MAIN-SHOW: The New Day vs Cesaro And Shinsuke Nakamura For The SmackDown Tag Team Championship In A Tables Match.

WWE Photo

This match was the exact opposite of a horror show because that one was good.

Like all table matches, Both guys or both teams, in this case, tried to hit the opponents through a table throughout most of the match (No sh*t, Omar).

Cesaro tried to hit Kofi Kingston through a table with a powerbomb and it was successful.

In other words, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura are the new Smackdown tag team champions.

Well, that was unexpected. Part of me thinks that they're barely going to be on TV but that's my pessimism talking. I hope that WWE will actually take these guys seriously.

Bayley vs Nikki Cross For The SmackDown Women's Championship.

WWE Photo

Before the match, Alexa Bliss along with the Kabuki Warriors gave some motivation for Nikki's championship match. And motivation it was.

She started the match with her signature neck breaker but the champ somehow kicked out of that one.

Several minutes later, Cross nailed the spinning neckbreaker to Bayley again on the outside.

The match concluded when Bayley used the boss brass knuckles and hit it right on Nikki Cross' ribs to which Bayley delivered the rose plant and retained the women's title.

I wasn't looking forward to this encounter in particular so it was nice to witness that both women executed an awesome match.

Apollo Crews vs MVP For The United States Championship.

WWE Photo

Crews was supposed to defend his United States title but because of how Bobby Lashley applied the Full Nelson submission to the point of injury, Apollo can't defend the championship.

So, MVP awarded himself as the new United States champion. To my surprise, I don't mind this. I don't know if Apollo Crews' injury is legitimate or not. Will see.

Seth Rollins vs Rey Mysterio In An Eye For An Eye Match.

WWE Photo

During Rey Mysterio's entrance, Rey kicked Seth Rollins from behind and just like that, the match went underway.

Both guys attempted to extract one of their eyes using the tools inside the toolbox and even a few objects like a kendo stick.

Mysterio actually hit the stomp on the outside and almost took out one of Seth's eyes but the messiah kicked the luchador right in the cajones.

WWE Photo

Seth Rollins actually damaged Mysterio's other eye and Seth vomited himself to victory. The match was great so they didn't disappoint.

The stipulation made sense given that Seth Rollins damaged one of Rey Mysterio's eyes two months. The feud was written well and the match did the rivalry justice.

Asuka vs Sasha Banks For The RAW Women's Championship.

WWE Photo

Bayley's reaction to what just happened to Rey with a heel swerve made me laugh but not loud because it was 4 am and I didn't want to disturb the neighbours like the good tenant I am.

Anywho, Sasha Banks tried to pull a Kurt Angle with a German suplex from the ring apron, however, Asuka got out of it.

At the end of the match, Asuka spat out the green mist to the ref and it knocked out the official as a result.

WWE Photo

Bayley took off the ref's shirt after she hit Asuka with the women's tag belt and had Sasha pin Asuka on the mat while Bayley counted to 3 and that's how Sasha Banks is the new RAW women's champion?

That ending was a great example of WWE over complicating themselves to a God damn corner. What in the sh*ts was that?

Drew McIntyre vs Dolph Ziggler For The WWE Championship.

WWE Photo

The stipulation is an Extreme Rules match but only for the challenger, Dolph Ziggler which honestly is a smart move from a bad guy if you ask me.

Dolph Ziggler executed a Rock bottom on the chair which was a nice reference of The Rock wanting to see the show off actually capture the WWE title.

Unfortunately for the great one, Dolph didn't get to do that because Drew delivered the Claymore kick and the Scotsmen still gets to keep the championship.

I was expecting a mid kind of match but I was wrong. The bout was fantastic.

Braun Strowman vs "The Eater Of Worlds " Bray Wyatt In A Swamp Fight.

WWE Photo

This swamp fight had Braun fighting against some masked men. Then literally fighting himself.

Then being chained around a chair (did that just rhymed?). Then having some ultimatum for Bray Wyatt. Then looking at Sister Abigail?

Then having some guy burnt alive. Then being convinced by Alexa Bliss disguised as Sister Abigail to "come home" (Adam Biampied would be proud).

Then drowning in a swamp for a bit and then finally, being taken by The Fiend into the waters. What did I just watch?

WWE Photo

I know there will be someone thinking "Well Omar, didn't you enjoy the firefly funhouse match? What's the difference?"  At least the firefly funhouse match was actually fun to watch. This one was just weird and boring at times. But I will say this, the ending was not bad but it didn't save this fight, unfortunately.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Bayley vs Nikki Cross, The New Day vs Cesaro And Shinsuke Nakamura For The SmackDown Tag Team Championship, Drew McIntyre vs Dolph Ziggler For The WWE Championship, Seth Rollins vs Rey Mysterio, Asuka vs Sasha Banks For The RAW Women's Championship.

Didn't like: The ending of the Asuka vs Banks match, what did I just witness with the swamp fight?

Finn Balor Returns To N. X. T.  It's not a typo my friends, Finn ...

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...
