WWE RAW 29/6/20 | A Coherent Review.

I had more positives than negatives on this latest edition of Monday Night RAW. In other words, it was a good show.

Two Contract Signings At The Same Time.

WWE Photo

The episode started off with a brawl between Sasha Banks and her Extreme Rules: Horror Show opponent, Asuka but then, out came the challenger for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules: Horror Show, Dolph Ziggler.

After Asuka and Sasha Banks finally settled down, it turned into a double contract signing. Ziggler told Drew that if it wasn't for him, McIntyre wouldn't be the wrestler that he is today.

McIntyre responded, mentioning their friendship but that story would turn the other side once Extreme Rules comes our way.

Asuka Interrupts Dolph, says something in Japanese aka the best promo ever. Sasha Banks, making the RAW women's championship official by putting the stamp in the contract paper. Legit Boss sh*t bruh. That led to a tease of a brawl.

I appreciate the uniqueness of the opening even though the way the show opened was odd. Overall, this was a decent segment.

Big Show Calls Out Randy Orton.

WWE Photo

The world's most heel/babyface turns, The Big Show calls out Randy Orton for a brawl.

However, Andrade, Angel Garza and Zelina Vega were disgusted by how Show took the spot in the show.

They wanted to take care of The Big Show with a potential 2 on 1 beating which is what Ric Flair said once Flair's music hits.

WWE Photo

Thankfully for the big man, The Viking Raiders saved him. Then, an okay tag match happened between Viking Raiders, Garza and Andrade that had Zelina Vega's clients take the W even though they had some dissension.

Ric Flair in a backstage segment, asked the winners of the tag team match to discuss something privately. Hmmm? This was fine.

R Truth vs Akira Tozawa For The 24/7 Championship.

WWE Photo

The human walking stereotype, Akira Tozawa lost the 24/7 championship from R Truth with a roll-up. Cool.

Can WWE get rid of Akria's Ninja gimmick, please? Didn't also help the match itself because it was not good.

Seth Rollins "Asks For Forgiveness".

WWE Photo

Rollins with Rey Mysterio's mask in hand, said that Rey Mysterio's real duty is not to protect his family but rather to sacrifice the greater good of Monday Night RAW.

He then asked Rey Mysterio and Dominick to forgive him for what he's going to do.

Mysterio and his son via the titantron, pretty much stated that they don't forgive Seth Rollins.

Humberto Carrillo And Aleister Black ran through the ring but fortunately for the messiah, he escaped quickly. After that, a tag team match happened between Rollins, Murphy, Humberto and Aleister.

WWE Photo

With a notable amount of tag teams matches scheduled for this episode, you would think that the red brand has a thriving tag team division, right? RIGHT?

All sarcasm aside, this was a good match. Carrillo tried to roll up Seth Rollins but Rollins reversed that and had no hesitation to deliver the stomp for the win.

After the match, Rollins tried to damage one of Humberto's eyes with the steel steps but Black saved him from an eye injury.

I've been thinking about this. Why are so many heels that were feuding with Rey Mysterio over the years, so obsessed with his mask or ripping off his mask?

It doesn't give superpowers or anything like that so why the mask? I'm just nitpicking though.

What he didn't save was a temporal head injury from Humberto given that Rollins quickly stomped the guy on the steps.

We then got an Undertaker tribute video highlight which was great not gonna lie.

If it wasn't for the deadman, I wouldn't be writing this review or any other reviews. I owe the character my fandom in this business.

Ruby Riott vs Peyton Royce.

WWE Photo

So, this match happened when in a backstage segment earlier, The IIconics made fun of Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott win/loss record.

Riott replied by mentioning their L last week for the women's tag team championship.

Royce's spinning brainbuster was to quote AJ Styles, "phenomenal" and that's how she won the match.

Unfortunately, that's another loss for Ruby Riott but based on the backstage scene from earlier, they could turn that into a babyface comeback story and honestly, I'm all for it.

Big Show vs Angel Garza And Andrade.

WWE Photo

Show said in an interview before this match took place that Garza and Andrade are getting an angry giant and we got some of that in my humble opinion.

Miscommunications between Andrade and Garza happened again and it cost them because Show won the match with a chokeslam. Big Show gave Randy a message by giving Andrade the KO punch.

I'm hoping that Big Show and Randy Orton will not give us a lacklustre of a match like their match at Survivor Series 2013.

Also, if Randy Orton is the legend killer then why does he associate himself with Ric Flair?

I could say the same thing when his father was his manager for a bit but to be fair, Cowboy Bob Orton is Randy's dad so…….

Apollo Crews vs MVP.

Moments before the match took place, MVP was bothered that Apollo didn't accept his managerial duties.

WWE Photo

Montel further tells the young champion that he shouldn't be disrespected like that. Apollo came out to tell MVP that he's a manipulative piece of crap basically.

Bobby Lashley's distraction led to a win from MVP with a fisherman which felt underwhelming the way it was executed.

Lashley then further attacked Apollo Crews but the US champion was saved by Ricochet and Cedric Alexander that proceeded into a match between the Almighty and Ricochet.

Lashley, no pun intended, gave a dominant win with the full Nelson. I forgot to mention this in my previous reviews bur Bobby has been written like a beast for the past months and I'm loving it. Keep. That. Momentum. Rolling.

Drew McIntyre And Asuka vs Dolph Ziggler And Sasha Banks.

WWE Photo

Based on what I've seen in the main event, Bayley is the best commentator at this very moment.

Another fun tag team match courtesy of Asuka,  Drew McIntyre, Dolph Ziggler and Sasha Banks.

Speaking of Banks, she led her team to victory with a roll-up on Asuka after Banks got out of the Asuka lock.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The main event, Aleister Black And Humberto Carrillo vs Seth Rollins And Murphy, (had nothing to do with the episode itself) The Undertaker tribute, Bobby Lashley's booking.

Didn't like: The 24/7 championship match.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
