While the wrestling was, for the most part, the best thing about the show, the latest edition of Monday Night RAW lacked some storytelling aspect and instead relied too much on highlight videos which can be useful but in this instance, it was a bit excessive for me.
Seth Rollins Hosts Rey Mysterio's "Retirement Ceremony".
The self-proclaimed, "leader of Monday Night RAW", appreciates Rey Mysterio for being the legend in the industry that sacrifices for the greater good of Monday Nights. The scene even aired a video highlighting the career of Rey Mysterio as well as the vicious attack he took from the Messiah himself.
Aleister Black ran to the ring and he immediately started to brawl with Seth and that led to a match between Black and Rollins.
I liked this segment mainly due to the fact that it showcases who The Messiah character is and how it's pretty much his Monday Night Rollins persona but with a heel twist. And for that reason, Seth is probably the best heel in WWE to date.
Aleister Black vs Seth Rollins.
The match itself though I thought was supposed to happen at Backlash (oopsie), was a solid one.
Humberto Carrillo came out to ringside with a chair to hit Seth Rollins but that didn't happen so he stood in ringside throughout the match.
Black blocked Rollins' frog splash after the Messiah nailed the falcon arrow which that move will never get stale.
Thanks to some shenanigans on the outside, Rollins was pinned by Aleister with a roll-up to which his disciples were attacking the winner of that match. Again, a solid opener.

After Angel Garza gave Charly Caruso a rose, Zelina Vega took that and ripped off the flower. That was hilarious, not gonna lie.
Shawn Michaels gave his perspective on the "greatest wrestling match ever" and he gave the edge to Edge (I definitely stole that pun from Shawn Michaels, did I? Awkward).
In a backstage segment, Lana slapped MVP because she didn't want him to manage her husband, Bobby Lashley. The more they leave that Lashley and Lana story, the better the show will be.
Apollo Crews Celebrates His United States Championship Victory.
Crews chose his first opponent to defend his title and that person is. Kevin Owens and that match kicked off right after this segment.
During the match, Owens unintentionally kicked Crews in the balls and the match got just a little more intense, to say the least. Heel turn?
That didn't happen because Angel Garza and Andrade were stomping on Owens and Crews ending the match into a DQ and instead, it turned into a tag team match, Playas.

The match ended with a sitout powerbomb from Apollo Crews to Andrade. Both decent matches although I prefer the US title match.
The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders battled themselves this week in a bowling contest.

Like I said in my last week's review of RAW, I understood the intention of trying to build a feud in a unique way but that doesn't mean that I enjoyed these segments. They're just one big cornball filled with cheesy jokes.
Nikki Cross vs Billie Kay.

Billie Kay took the W with the sitout uranage. Not the best match but I'm kinda enjoying this feud so far.
Rey Mysterio's Interview Since The Attack He Took From Seth Rollins.
Mysterio and his son, Dominic are furious that Seth had to attack him while Rey's wife and daughter were watching this unfold and they'll never forgive Seth for that. I actually like Rey's promo.
Ever since 2019, he has cut some of the best promos of his career even though for years, I thought that was his weak point as an overall performer.
The Gronk thought that his friend was recording him nailing a Tiktok dance but once Rob saw his buddy with a referee shirt, R Truth disguised himself as a lawn cleaner of some sort, pinned Rob Gronkowski to become the 36th 24/7 champion. Cool.
Randy Orton in a backstage promo, said that he will defeat Edge in a wrestling match with the three most destructive letters in sports entertainment. R. K. O. A decent promo from the viper.
Nia Jax vs Kairi Sane.
Oh, boy. Here we go. I and everybody else, read the news that Kairi Sane got injured during the match. Was it Jax's fault? Yes.
That spot when Nia shoved Sane's head on the steel steps in the absolute brutal yet reckless way. Oh, and she won the match with a leg drop as if anybody cares. Overall, that match isn't good, to be honest.
Asuka vs Charlotte.
Whenever Asuka and Charlotte have the opportunity to face each other, they always deliver and this is no exception.
Asuka locked in the armbar to Charlotte but when the queen tired to get out of it, Asuka quickly transitioned into a triangle hold. What a great sequence.
The match concluded with a count-out win for Charlotte after Asuka was staring at Nia Jax pretending to be the empress herself.
Drew McIntyre vs MVP.
Moments after Drew McIntyre's music was stopped, Lana's theme song played and here came the women herself. The final encounter of the night was fine.

The WWE champion won the match with the claymore and then, Bobby Lashley with no hesitation, applied the full Nelson on McIntyre and that's how the episode ended. That ending was a bit odd but it made sense given that it progresses the storyline.
So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.
Like: The wrestling, for the most part, the opening segment, Rey's promo about Seth Rollins.
Didn't like: Nia Jax vs Kairi Sane, The Street Profits and Viking Raiders bowling scene.
