WWE RAW 9/3/20 | My Coherent Review.

This is the promo package edition of Monday Night RAW. All lame jokes aside, at least this episode wasn't offensive to watch so there's that but that doesn't mean that it's decent either (so many that's in a sequence of sentences).

Becky Lynch Addresses Her Challenger.

WWE Photo

Lynch tells the world that the time for joking around is over (there you go, fans who hated her confidence for the past weeks) and proceeded to show what happened last night at Elimination Chamber (which you can click here to read the entire review).

The champ then praised Shayna Baszler for her accomplishments but then told the former NXT champion that she's a "black hole of charisma".

Lynch mentioned that she has beaten someone clean that has the same MMA experience as Shayna Baszler at Wrestlemania and it's going to happen again 3 weeks from Sunday.

Great promo as usual from the man. Yes, her confidence is not for everyone but that's how her character was built.

Angel Garza vs Rey Mysterio.

WWE Photo

A rematch from a month ago and while it was a 50/50 booking, the match was actually good. Mysterio wins with the 619.

After that, Kevin Owens got a 4 on 1 beatdown. That was not a smart move but okay.

Charlotte Flair Confronts The NXT Women's Champion.

WWE Photo

Flair started her promo saying "Did you see that package?" (I'm sure people are going to take that line out of context). The queen calls the current NXT women's champion, Rhea Ripley a shining new toy.

That shinning new toy, Rhea Ripley showed up and Flair told her that this isn't NXT but rather Monday Night RAW (oh, so worst right?) and Ripley is in her kingdom.

Ripley responded with a punch on Charlotte's face. That "kingdom line" was cringeworthy but nevertheless, a decent segment.

Bobby Lashley vs Zack Ryder.

WWE Photo

"Down goes Ryder" is a line that should be expected to be said every time Zack loses. Lashley won with the dominator. Let's just say that love triangle story is dead.

Seth Rollins *coughed once* I mean, The Monday Night Messiah asked Aleister Black in Black's darkroom to join his group but the striking man from Amsterdam said no.

Rollins then pulled out a Nexus from 2010 saying that he's either with him or against him. Black replied by telling him that it sounds like fighting words. Black's having back to back dream matches like facing Styles and now, Seth Rollins so that's cool.

Drew McIntyre vs Erick Rowan.

WWE Photo

McIntyre at one point, squashed the cage with the steel steps and that led to a Claymore kick from the Scotsmen.

Inside the cage, by the way, was a big ass spider. All that tease for nothing.

The Kabuki Warriors vs Natalya And Liv Morgan.

WWE Photo

The women's tag team champions cut a weird yet amusing promo. The match was aight.

Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan showed up to obviously distract Liv Morgan duh but instead, Morgan delivers a crossbody on both Riott and Morgan.

That didn't help Natalya because Kabuki Warriors won the bout with a roundhouse kick.

AJ Styles Livid About What Happened Last Night.

Styles wasn't happy about the loss he took saying that The Undertaker stuck his nose in Styles' business where it doesn't belong. AJ Styles challenges him to a match and calls him a broken old man named Mark Callaway.

The phenomenal one has a reason why Undertaker keeps on coming back and that's his wife. Anything she wants, the phenom gets but that's exactly what Styles wants.

At Wrestlemania, Styles loves to see the deadman actually dead. This is the first time The Undertaker's real name was mentioned on television if I'm not mistaken. But, this was okay.

Riddick Moss vs Cedric Alexander For The 24/7 Championship.

Moss continues his undefeated streak with that W. Moss' win led to MVP cutting a promo immediately after the commercial break. Montel says that he can make Edge a champion again.

WWE Photo

Out came Edge and after MVP asked him how's his wife, Edge speared the guy to which Randy Orton entered the ring from outta nowhere and both guys brawled.

Edge hits the RKO on Orton but Edge absolutely, viciously destroys MVP with a series of chair shots with chants of "one more time"

The Rated R Superstar saw Randy running and Edge proceeded to chase him. Damn, that was great. Who's with me in that this match should main event WrestleMania?

Aleister Black vs Seth Rollins.

WWE Photo

Thanks to Murphy, this match ended in a DQ and Seth's gang were beating up Aleister but he got some help in The Viking Raiders and The Street Profits. You know what that means?

A 5 out of 10 worthy 6 man tag team match. The heel team captured the W with a stomp from Seth Rollins to Montez Ford. Oh, and Kevin Owens showed up to then get his ass kicked once again by the Monday Night Messiah and his followers.

I went from being curious as to how this plays out to now not giving a single crap about this feud. This is basically a WWE 2K universe mode type of tag team rivalry in the sense that random wrestlers interject themselves for no reason. That segment with Edge, MVP and Randy should've been the ending not this.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Edge, MVP and Randy segment, Becky Lynch promo, Rey vs Garza.

Didn't like: The ending was underwhelming (that surprisingly rhymed).

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
