WWE RAW 16/3/20 | A Coherent Review.

Last week was the promo packages edition, this week was the empty arena with additional promo packages. A skippable yet okay show for what it was. I never thought that a Monday Night RAW review would be shorter than the old hour NXT show reviews.

Edge On His Actions Last Week.

The WWE Hall of Famer stated that he saw something great in Bob Orton's kid he met in 1999. Edge also said that while both men owe Mick Foley for their success, Randy is nothing more than an entitled brat because he was handled this opportunity while Edge worked hard to be successful in the business.

The Rated R Superstar ended his dialogue saying that the match between him and Randy at Wrestlemania is the last man standing match.

That match is going to be awkward with an empty crowd just like the entire show which if your internet was out for a day or so due to not paying this month's bill (I feel ya),  Wrestlemania 36 will take place inside the performance centre. Oh, and that was a superb promo.

WWE then aired the full 2020 men's Royal Rumble match and I'm not going to be angry over it given that I get it. Is it lame? Yes, but having to fill a 3-hour show in a show like this is extremely difficult.

The Undertaker vs AJ Styles Match At Wrestlemania Contract Signing.

The Undertaker had the quickest ring entrance I've ever seen and flipped the contract signing table and two chairs. AJ Styles' music hits and did not show up near the stage but rather the titantron.

Styles says that he's the one to make this match at the grandest stage of them all and continues to trash Taker's wife Michelle McCool who Styles should be mad at for stealing his finisher (shout out to Solomonster for that insight). Apparently, the performance centre is the grandest stage of them all. Who knew?

The phenomenal one signed the contract and told the rest of The O.C to hand to the deadman. They eventually did if you count Taker beating the crap outta them only to grab it and sign the contract. I wish that Undertaker would say something but nevertheless, a decent segment.

Andrade vs Rey Mysterio.

By the way, Asuka on the commentary desk was entertaining. An aight match. Mysterio wins with the 619. Like I said before on this site, I wouldn't be surprised if all the Latinos in Andrade, Humberto Carrillo, Angel Garza and Rey Mysterio will face each other in a ladder match for the US title.

However, considering that Wrestlemania 36 is now in the performance centre, I can't see WWE adding another match in a 4-hour show with an empty area which is crucial for a show, especially like Wrestlemania.

"I Am The Prey That Killed Its Predator Shayna", Says Becky Lynch.

Lynch stated simply like the title above that she'll take down the lie that is Shayna Baszler. A good promo as usual from Becky Lynch.

I'm glad that WWE wrote the narrative that Becky is taking Shayna Baszler seriously which was by fear the way she was acting going into Elimination Chamber.

In a backstage interview with Charly Caruso, Kevin Owens answered Rollins' challenge at Wrestlemania also mentioned that he was doubted regarding his try out at the performance centre including the person he's accepted the challenge from, Seth Rollins.

He'll be happy to win his match in the same place he got his WWE contract. Great promo from Kevin Owens. Loved how he mentioned his days at the PC and how he was doubted by the peers he respected.

Stone Cold 3:16 Day Promo.

The ending for this show wasn't the main event match but rather a promo courtesy of the Texas Rattlesnake. Steve Austin declared that 3:16 Day is a national holiday and wanted the fans at home to shout "Hell yeah" to which Bryon Saxton shouted with passion, "Hell yea".

Austin stated the rules for 3:16 Day and wanted to join Bryon for a toast which was an obvious set up for the stunner to the fellow colour commentator and Becky Lynch showed up to join the beer-drinking fun. This was one big promotion for Steve's IPA. It was not offensive to watch so there's that.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Becky Lynch promo, Kevin Owens backstage promo, Asuka on commentary.

Didn't like: A whole lotta nothing which to be fair was expected.

WWE RAW 9/5/22 | A Coherent Review.

Yes, I didn't review Wrestlemania Backlash because one, I knocked out after a long day and two, why not? I did watch the show and it's like an episode of a Telltale game in that it's short and sweet.  How was the red brand this week?  Even though Wrestlemania Backlash is over, it still feels like I'm watching a build toward that show. It's like eating yesterday's leftovers with some fresh salad on the side, ya know. I'm hoping Hell In A Cell concludes everything.  The Street Profits vs RKBRO For The RAW Tag Team Championship.  Hey, look. A good tag team match, playas! Yes, they've fought each other more times than Call Of Duty sequels but like I said, I enjoyed it. RKBRO retained the championship with an RKO from Riddle to Montez Ford.  Rhea Ripley Is Now An Evil Goth Girl.  She said, "f**k them, kids". Also, why's Edge rocking the "I believe in white genocide" look? Ripley had a match with Liv Morgan and of course, she won the w...

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...
