WWE Smackdown 1/11/19 | My Coherent Review.

NXT has taken over and to quote Robert Roode, it was glorious. I don't know how this show will turn out if it was a regularly scheduled show.

This is the best Smackdown on FOX episode and that's all thanks to NXT. I know that's due to most superstars having travelling issues from Saudi Arabia back to the States but they’ve managed to give us a fun episode and it was something that we haven't seen coming.

Brock Lesnar Is Pissed Off.

WWE Photo

The beast and the advocate started off this episode of Smackdown and Paul says that Brock is angry. The reason is? Rey Mysterio hits Lesnar with a series of chair shots which is funny to say given that I said the exact opposite in my Crown Jewel review.

Heyman went on to say that Brock Lesnar officially quits Friday Night SmackDown in order to appear on Monday Night RAW this coming week to hunt Rey Mysterio. They did show us the full WWE championship at Crown Jewel so depending on who you are, you may like it or not like it.  I personally didn't but the segment overall was aight. After they left the arena, Triple H and Shawn Michaels were looking on. Alright. Are they teasing something?

Bayley vs Nikki Cross For The SmackDown Women's Championship.

The match ended thanks to Bayley's only buddy in Sasha Banks and retained the SmackDown women's title. However, Shayna Baszler came out and destroyed Bayley.

When Sami Zayn had an interview with Cathy Kelly, Matt Riddle and Keith Lee showed up and Zayn was basically sucking up to those guys. Sami told them that he has an NXT short and he'll get it, however, Zayn ran to the ring and both men beat up Sami Zayn. As you can tell, there's a theme being told in this episode and that is N. X. T.

Miz TV. No Guest Yet.

WWE Photo

Miz was talking about his old guest in Bray Wyatt and Wyatt couldn't show up for obvious reasons. The reason why the title above is relevant is that Tommaso Ciampa slowly walks to the ring and tells the Miz that Miz may play the part but Ciampa is the part.

Miz replies saying that if Ciampa wants to make a statement then make a God damn statement and that statement is a match. A very good match indeed. Miz locks in the figure four lock but Ciampa escapes. Tommaso Ciampa delivers the fairytale ending and won the match.

In a backstage segment, Daniel Bryan looks at Hunter and Shawn Michaels and Bryan challenged Triple H to a match that night.

Hunter said that he's not in ring gear but he brought in Adam Cole to face the planet's champion. Bryan accepted only if Cole puts his NXT Title on the line and Adam accepts it bay bay.

Rhea Ripley and Tegan Nox vs Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

Carmella and Dana Brooke were supposed to face Mandy Rose and Sonya but Bianca Belair absolutely destroyed Dana Brooke and threw Carmella above the production boxes for some sort which led to Rhea Ripley and Tegan Nox taking their place.

Ripley taps out Mandy with a modified cloverleaf. This was basically a squash match but it did its job on putting NXT over.

Adam Cole vs Daniel Bryan For The NXT Championship.

WWE Photo

Bryan delivers the german suplex from the top rope and misses the headbutt. Daniel then applies pressure on Adam's back with the half Boston crab which led to a rebel lock being locked in by Bryan but Cole somehow escaped.

WWE Photo

Adam Cole delivers the Panama sunrise and the last shot to Daniel Bryan and pins a former WWE champion which is very impressive. After the match, the rest of the NXT roster came out in support of Adam Cole to which Triple H cut a promo basically saying that we are N. X. T. Great match, great ending and a fun episode overall.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: NXT Invasion, Adam Cole vs Daniel Bryan, Ciampa vs Miz.

Didn't like: Nothing.

WWE RAW 7/1/19 | My Coherent Review

My first RAW review of 2019 and surprisingly, this show was decent. Now, would RAW put on decent shows in the coming weeks or months? Probably not but I hope that's the case. Now, usually on my RAW and Smackdown Live reviews, I give my thoughts on what's good, what's ok and what bad ( click here if you curious as to how the format looks like). However, since this is the new year, I'm gonna get rid of that and instead just put my in-depth thoughts just like my PPV reviews. Without further ado, on with the review.  Opening Segment The show itself started off with a brawl between Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley that lasted for a very short period of time. After that’s done, the opening segment started with John Cena and cuts a promo on how he’s gonna earn his golden ticket to Wrestlemania by entering in this year’s Royal Rumble match.  Out came Drew McIntyre and he said that Cena’s accomplishments is what Drew cares about. He then went on how he’s b...

The 5 News Week: The Current Plan For Eva Marie According To Reports.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  What’s Going On With The ShowBuzz Daily Website!? Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer has expressed concern regarding Showbuzz Daily not posting the daily TV rating due to technical issues stating (from Cagesideseats ) "all wrestling companies, TV companies, sports stations, etc. looked to that site for numbers.” The owner of the Showbuzz Daily entity, Mitch Metcalf, took to the blue hell that is Twitter and said that they can't add content to the site anymore over a shutdown that isn't clear as to what caused the shutdown itself.  Metcalf went on to highlight that due to operating the site without generating revenue, the cost and time to bring back the site has made him think about the future of ShowBuzz Daily.  Is...

WWE Super Showdown 2020 | My Coherent Review.

Super showdown 2020 was dull, boring and even frustrating at times. The two previous Saudi shows from last year were surprisingly okay but this was just a flavourless taste in my mouth and this is coming from the resident WWE shill. By far, the worst PPV of 2020 so far.  PRESHOW: The Viking Raiders vs The O.C. In Luke Gallows And Karl Anderson.  A skippable match that we've seen for the gazillionth time. Yay for unwanted repetition! The O.C wins. Cool.  MAIN-SHOW: AJ Styles vs. Andrade vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Erick Rowan vs. R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio. Gauntlet Match for the Tuwaiq Trophy.  R Truth and Bobby Lashley started off this match and Truth wins via a roll-up. Lashley then attacks R Truth (like we've not seen that spot before) to which out came the second opponent of the night, the returning Andrade and the way that encounter ended was odd yet somehow not horrible.  Both men hit each other with their heads and Truth pins the guy to keep fight...
