The 5 News Week:Kofi Kingston on Vince's Reaction To His WWE Title Loss, Elias Might Be Coming Back From Injury!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.

Elias Might Be Coming Back From Injury!?

The reason you haven't seen The Drifter on WWE television is simply due to a broken ankle sustained back in September which is why if you remember or not, the semi-finals match on Smackdown between himself and Chad Gable on MSG was cancelled.

According to our resident expert in all things diseases, Dave Meltzer basically said on the Wrestling Observer Radio that Dave was told that Elias will show up at the end of October but given that it's early November now, Elias could show up "any day now.''

CM Punk And Colt Cabana's Trainer Working At The PC.

Ace Steel. The person that trained CM Punk, Colt Cabana and impersonated Donald Trump in a rare intergender wrestling match on WWE TV against a fake Rosie O' Donnell aka the worst episode of Monday Night RAW.

From PWInsider and Mike Johnson, Steel has now been "relocated to Orlando, Florida for the position" and that position is a full-time coach at the performance centre.

He has been hired by WWE last month after doing some guest training earlier this year which WWE was actually impressed by to the point where they brought Steel in to produce in-ring scenes for the Netflix's upcoming comedy "The Main Event" a few months back and that movie will granted have fantastic marketing (an inside joke for you slow mofos).

Why WWE Execs Didn't Move Shayna Baszler To RAW Or Smackdown?

Well, according to Dave via a different Wrestling Observer Radio show, WWE had big plans for her and was going to be pushed as one of WWE's biggest stars like in the vein of Charlotte Flair and one of Baszler's opponents at Survivor Series, Becky Lynch but that plan was nixed due to NXT moving to the USA network. So, there you go I guess.

A New Name For Steve Austin's Podcast On WWE Network!?

Steve Austin's podcast is coming back to the WWE network but with a different name according to a WrestleVotes tweet back in Oct 23rd. Almost a full 4 weeks to this present day, WrestleVotes tweeted again stating:

"Broken Skull Session with Steve Austin.

1st guest: The Undertaker. Official announcement is coming this week."

Austin tweeted about an announcement coming soon hours before that. I wonder what would that announcement be!?

Kofi Kingston on Vince's Reaction To His WWE Title Loss.

One-half of the Smackdown tag team champions in Kofi Kingston recently spoke with Alex Mccarthy over at Talk sport and it was about his WWE championship run pretty much. Alex at one point, asked him about Vinne Mac's reaction when Kofi lost the prestigious championship and here's what he had to say:

"We definitely had some words. It was positive because it was very special for both of us. You saw the documentary, when I came through gorilla after winning, he had tears in his eyes and we’re all hugging, myself, Woods and [Big] E. Because, it’s been a wild ride, man. Vince has been on the ride with us and he was actually one of the only people to support the New Day when we were first coming up. Granted, we didn’t want to be three preachers [laughs], but he was the one that actually gave us a chance to go out there and be a unit. So it’s been a journey and a journey for all of us. "
Guys, I highly recommend to check out the rest of the interview.

What do you think about the news I just reported and follow me on the tweets @omartheplayaguy. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
