WWE RAW 7/10/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode was something I've not felt in weeks on the red brand and the feeling was boredom for the most part. That show was also skippable.

So much so that I thought of not reviewing this episode but there were things I actually liked so I want to talk about that too.

Rusev vs Randy Orton.

WWE Photo
The match hasn't started because Randy Orton and Baron Corbin were ganging up on Rusev but a strange (Bobby Lashley) familiar foe to Rusev, was at his house and chilled in Rusev's bed.

Lana joined the fun and Rusev took his frustrations by beating up Orton and Corbin hard. I'm glad that Rusev showed some aggression which I was worried that he wouldn't.

The only thing I could critique about this whole thing is that we don't get to hear Lana's side of the story as to why she cheated on Rusev?

Lana was once loyal to her man and now she just turned the other way to end her relationship. Hopefully, they actually address that in the coming weeks.

Natalya vs Lacey Evans In A Last Woman Standing Match.

WWE Photo
This match surprised me in the sense that it's actually good? The way Natalya sold Lacey's suplexes on the outside was great. Natalya won her match with a powerbomb and threw Lacey on a table near the stage area to win her match. It's also Lacey's best match yet so good on the Sassy Southern Bell.

Somebody we haven't seen in months is Aleister Black and he basically wanted anybody to knock on his door in order to fight with Black. They're really playing this game again or did he change his mind?

The Street Profits put over the Draft which is coming this Friday on Smackdown and then, Tysons Fury was interviewed by Charly Caruso about what happened between the undefeated boxing champion and the monster among men?

Fury said that he wanted an apology and if he doesn't get it then he'll get his hands. Nice playing with words Tysons.

The Viking Raiders vs Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler (aka the odd couple).

WWE Photo
This was pretty good. Ziggler hits Erick with a DDT outside the ring which definitely slowed the match down when Roode locked in the chin lock on Erick. Erick eventually tagged Ivar and he threw Ziggler and Roode with the back body drop.

The RAW tag team champions then delivered a tag team zig-zag spinebuster combination to Erick which looked amazing.

Ziggler got a Viking Experience and that's how the Viking Raiders won the match. It looks like we're getting a tag team championship so that should be fun.

Aleister Black vs The Bollywood Boyz.

WWE Photo
Aleister knew how his requests play out so he fought a match on his own terms against 205 live's own the Singh Brothers.

Black won the match not with the black mass but rather with the dragon sleeper to Samir Singh. I'm glad he changed his perspective. Those dark room promos were so God damn played out.

Charly Caruso interviewed Rey Mysterio about what happened to him on RAW last week and Cain Velasquez's WWE debut. Rey said that when you mess with Cain's Godson in Dominic, you mess with Cain Velasquez.

The O.C vs Lucha House Party.

WWE Photo
AOP cut a very decent promo about why they're known as AOP during The O.C's entrance. Lince Dorado delivers a great crossbody to Karl Anderson but that wasn't enough because The O.C won their match with the phenomenal forearm to Kalisto.

After the match, Anderson and Gallows took out Metalik with the magical killer and a top rope styles clash to Dorado. An okay match.

Miz TV. Special Guest, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

WWE Photo
While the RAW and SmackDown women's champions were insulting each other, Kabuki Warriors came out and they said something in Japanese that I can't understand.

That segment led to an okay tag team match. Charlotte Flair delivered a moonsault on both Sane and Asuka. Asuka spat out the green mist to Becky and the Warriors won the match.

WWE Photo

Charlotte got a 2 on 1 beating from Kabuki Warriors and then, Bliss and Cross made the save. This is the most we've seen Asuka and Kairi featured on TV in months and whoever told them to be there, I appalled you.

Ricochet vs Apollo Crews.

WWE Photo
This is a draft showcase for both guys and wasn't a great showcase? No, but it wasn't terrible either. Ricochet won this match with the recoil.

Tysons Fury Demands An Apology From The Monster Among Men.

WWE Photo
Jerry Lawler was moderating this whole thing and Fury like the title above, wanted an apology from Braun Strowman.

Out came Braun Strowman and he said that he would eat Fury for lunch. Fury told him that he's the heavyweight championship of the world so how many heavyweight championships Braun won?

Both men brawled with each other which led to security guards stopping him but they took out the guards but out came the rest of the WWE locker room and they finally separated both men.

WWE Photo
The show ended after Braun's interview with Charly Caruso, with a brawl. Like I said in my Friday night Smackdown review, the match between Strowman and Fury could be fun but I thought the ending was generic.

Like both guys have a beef, let's have them brawl with security guards and the rest of the locker room stop them as if we've never seen it before, am I right? Now, how it is any different between Floyd Mayweather and Big Show? Well, At least the brawl between Mayweather and Big Show was actually entertaining.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The last woman's standing match, Rusev aggression,  The Viking Raiders vs Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, Kabuki Warriors booked in a strong fashion.

Didn't like:  Didn't explain as to why Lana cheated on Rusev, no mention of the universal championship other than a promo package (lame), the ending was generic af.

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.  The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"  With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.  Eddie Kingston (wi...
