WWE RAW 21/10/19 | My Coherent Review.

I like this episode of Monday Night RAW. Probably one of the best episodes of RAW all year and I will also say that 2019 has been a great year for Monday Night RAW. I can only count one hand on how many episodes of RAW I actually hated.

Ric Flair Reveals The Final Member of His Team.

WWE Photo
The nature boy started off this episode and I thought I've time jumped to 03 but I realized that he's the coach of his team at Crown Jewel and I said to myself "ohhhhhh".

Ric Flair reveals the final member and that person is none other than the returning Drew McIntyre. Drew tells his captain that he's going to give him a preview of what he's going to do at Crown Jewel. That preview is a match between the Scottish psychopath and Ricochet.

This was a nothing segment other than Drew coming back after several weeks.

Drew McIntyre vs Ricochet.

WWE Photo
Ric Flair cut a passionate promo basically calling Hogan to show up on Smackdown this Friday. This was a very good bout.

Ricochet did things that would make Jim Cornette's head boil but Drew threw Ricochet with a crucifix bomb on the top turnbuckle followed by a beautiful sitout powerbomb and Ricochet kicked out.

Ricochet plants McIntyre with a death valley driver followed by a shooting star press from the top rope but Drew survived that one. Drew hits the Claymore kick to win the opening match of RAW.

What a way to make a return then to deliver a very fun match. Oh, and Drew makes a statement after the match with a reverse Alabama slam on the steel steps.

Charly Caruso interviewed The O.C and she asked about their strategy going into their match? They obviously didn't reveal their strategy but they're basically confident that The O.C will blow the smoke.

Aleister Black vs Local Jobber.

WWE Photo
You know what happened when the title above includes "local jobber" but the question is, Did he win his match with the black mass or the dragon sleeper submission? The answer is the black mass.

The King's Court. Special Guest, Rusev.

WWE Photo
Jerry Lawler asked Ruev about whatever the hell that is Lashley and Lana? Rusev wants to destroy "Bob" Lashley (I lost it when he said Bob Lashley) but Rusev also wants to reunite with his wife.

Bob Lashley and Lana were in the titantron via a restaurant and Bob says that unlike Rusev, he'll give Lana whatever she wants because Lana asked Rusev to do just that for years into their marriage. After that, Rusev told Lawler that he knows where they are.

WWE Photo
Later in the night, Rusev showed up to that restaurant and he beats up Bob Lashley but security caught Rusev unfortunately.

Somebody on Twitter said that maybe he could reunite with Aiden English to reincarnate Rusev day given that English was technically right all along? That could be something. This entire thing was okay but Lana did explain her motivations and it was not surprising, to be honest.

Andrade vs Sin Cara.

WWE Photo
Sin Cara makes his TV in-ring return and he was very much impressive in this match. Cara delivered a sunset flip from the top rope to Andrade.

Thanks to Zelina Vega's hurricanrana, Andrade picks up the victory with the hammerlock DDT. This was a surprise. A very good match indeed.

Humberto Carrillo was watching that match the whole time and he was asked by Caruso about him as a performer. Carrillo said that he wants to be champion and made mention about Seth Rollins. What is he teasing exactly?

The Street Profits teased a possible mystery partner of theirs meanwhile R Truth lost his 24/7 championship from the Bollywood Boyz member in Sunil Singh. Will Truth get his title back?

The Viking Raiders vs Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins.

WWE Photo
I guess The Viking Raiders is going back to squashing jobbers but this time, jobbers that we recognize. Curt Hawkins ate the Viking Experience.

Rey Mysterio Returns To RAW To Speak About Cain Velasquez.

WWE Photo
Rey Mysterio came out to thank the fans for not letting him retire because the fans are his family. Paul Heyman shows up via the titantron and he basically says that Brock Lesnar will victimize Cain Velasquez.

After Rey replied Paul's promo by cursing at Lesnar, Shelton Benjamin showed up to say that he knows Lesnar very well and proceeds to bully Mysterio.

WWE Photo

Cain Velasquez's walked to the ring and made a statement to Lesnar by taking out Shelton Benjamin. This was aight. It didn't enhance my excitement but it wasn't offensive either so.

Seth Rollins vs Humberto Carrillo.

WWE Photo
This match came about when Seth was interviewed by Charly Caruso about Seth burning the firefly funhouse down. He then saw Humberto Carrillo and challenged him to a match later that night.

The match was actually pretty good. Humberto almost pinned the champ with a moonsault but Sethy kicked out. Seth Rollins countered that with a stomp and won the match. Rollins shook Carrillo's hand after the match.

WWE Photo
Seth Rollins was acting out of character in the sense that he was talking trash to Humberto during the match. Maybe that leads to a possible heel turn?

R Truth pinned the wrong Bollywood Boyz member in Samir Singh and The Bollywood Boyz ran while Truth was confused that there are two of them. Not gonna lie, that was funny.

The O.C vs The Street Profits.

WWE Photo
Turns out that the match was a normal tag team match and not a 6 man tag. Kevin Owens showed up to even the odds and stuns Styles with the stunner (see what I did there?).

Meanwhile, the match ends with a spinebuster from Angelo Dawkins to Karl Anderson followed by a frog splash from Montez Ford and The Street Profits won their main roster debut match. The fact that The Street Profits main evented this episode of RAW is actually pretty cool.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Seth Rollins vs Humberto Carrillo, Drew McIntyre vs Ricochet, the 24/7 title segments, Andrade vs Sin Cara.

Didn't like: the opening segment.

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.  The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"  With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.  Eddie Kingston (wi...
