WWE Crown Jewel 2019 | My Coherent Review.

An okay effort by WWE even though I was expecting a lot worse but then again, SuperShowdown was also okay so I shouldn't be that surprised. I haven't seen the pre-show so I can't talk about it.

Also, WWE has made an announcement hours back that the Survivor Series warfare between two brands has now added another brand in NXT and I'm very excited but also curious. How does the upcoming NXT Takeover show affect this? We shall wait and see very soon.

Brock Lesnar vs Cain Velasquez For The WWE Championship.

WWE Photo

So, Bork Laser won the match with the Kamura lock and then Mysterio tried to stop Brock (so that's his real name) from letting go of the submission hold, however, Rey ate an f5 to which he challenged Brock to a match in his backstage interview with Bryon Saxton.

I mean, Cain wouldn't take the title from Brock in his WWE debut match so it is to be expected. Oh, and the match was not good like really not good.

20 Man Tag Team Turmoil Match To Determine The Best Tag Team In The World.

WWE Photo

The Lucha House Party, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode started off this tag team turmoil match and after a quick back and forth, Roode hits the Glorious DDT on Gran Metalik to advance the match. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins were up next and Ziggler and Ryder are no strangers to each other.

However, it was another quick back and forth which led to a double team zig-zag into a spinebuster manoeuvre to Ryder and the former RAW tag team champions still advances. Heavy Machinery showed up and they eliminated Ziggler and Roode with the compactor.

The New Day were next and Otis ate the trouble in paradise and Tucker Knight missed a crossbody which led to a midnight hour from The New Day to Tucker, eliminating Heavy Machinery in the process. The B team came out and they lasted longer than the time Chris Jericho got himself some coffee 19 years back.

After Big E knocked off the B Team with the big ending, The Revival came out and The New Day eliminated Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson with a small package to Scott Dawson from Kofi Kingston (makes sense given that they have a title match tomorrow).

WWE Photo

The Revival hits the shatter machine which the next team in The O.C took that as an opportunity to eliminate the New Day with the magic killer. The final team rushes to the ring in the Viking Raiders and The O.C pinned the undefeated Viking Raiders to become the best tag team the world has ever seen.

Not a fan of The Viking taking an L but that's for now and I might change my mind depending on how WWE books Eric and Ivar for the next few weeks or months.

Mansoor vs Cesaro.

WWE Photo

Cesaro at one point during the match, throws him for the pop-up uppercut followed by a crossface which is a transition I'll never get tired of seeing.

Mansoor ends this competitive match with a moonsault and pins the Swiss Cyborg. A very good match and the crowd ate that match up obviously because this is Mansoor's hometown. Greg Hamilton interviewed the winner of the match and asked him about what this victory means to Mansoor?

WWE Photo

Mansoor gave an uplifting answer, saying that it's the most important match and victory. He then went on to say "Hello Riyadh" in Arabic and ends his speech by telling his people that he's there to become a champion.

Unfortunately, Mansoor is now going to be sidelined until the next show and that shouldn't be the case anymore considering that he's a gem.

Braun Strowman vs Tyson Fury.

WWE Photo

Fury's entrance with the theme song of The Isley Brothers during it was great. I was looking forward to the match the most so did it deliver?

Nah, it was pretty bad. Fury no selling the power slam from Strowman was probably the best thing about this. Yes, you read that right. A literal botch was the best part about a wrestling match. Fury won the match with a count-out thanks to a punch.

R Truth won the 24/7 championship in the pre-show during the battle royal and then lost it from the same person he won it from Samir Singh.

AJ Styles vs Humberto Carrillo For The United States Championship.

WWE Photo

Carrillo delivered a great flipping arm drag of some sort to a near fall. AJ Styles then hits the phenomenal forearm on Humberto to retain the US championship.

A very good encounter that was slept on by the live crowd. With Anderson and Gallows winning earlier and now Styles winning his title back, The O.C should be celebrating just not with a glass of beer and you know why.

Natalya vs Lacey Evans.

WWE Photo

This was a decent match. Lacey delivered the moonsault from the top rope to Natalya but the queen of hearts kicked out.

After Natalya won the match with a sharpshooter, both women hugged and cried with joy. "Did Lacey Evans just turned face?" somebody asks. The answer is I doubt it. When Natalya gave that female wrestling fan a hug, it was honestly emotional. You can obviously tell that she wanted to wrestle there for months.

Team Hulk Hogan In Roman Reigns, Ali, Chad "Shorty G" Gable, Rusev And Ricochet vs Team Ric Flair In Randy Orton, King Corbin, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley And Shinsuke Nakamura.

WWE Photo

Drew McIntyre with the help of Baron Corbin's cheap shot on the outside, delivers a reverse Alabama slam to Ricochet. Roman Reigns got the hot tag and a hot tag it was. Clotheslines, and a Samoan Splash to Corbin however, the rest of team Flair managed to slow him down by beating him up.

Moments later, Roman Reigns did a suicide dive on to everybody but Reigns took an RKO by the viper. Thanks to Gable and Ali taking the rest of team Flair out with suicides dives, Roman led his team to victory with a spear to Randy Orton. A decent match overall.

Seth Rollins vs "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt For The Universal Championship.

WWE Photo

The red lights are back and lamer than ever. The champ and the challenger brawled in the crowd area to which Rollins delivers the stomp to Wyatt near the ring apron however, The Fiend woke right back up quickly.

Rollins used the real heel of the month in the sledgehammer to put The Fiend down but Bray caught him and snapped his neck on the Arabic announce table. Both guys fought slowly, slowly, slowly, slowly, slowly to the point where it's like watching two guys fight underwater.

WWE Photo

Wyatt took a nasty bump on the production area and Seth was looking for him. As soon as the sparking thing hits on Seth's eyes, Bray took that opportunity to win the Universal Championship with the mandible claw.

WWE Photo

While the match was a complete snooze fest, the ending was pretty good and that should've been the ending for Hell In A Cell almost a month ago.

Really curious as to if Bray's is moving over to RAW aka a trade of some sort because both major championships on one brand do not make any sense.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Mansoor vs Cesaro, The ending of the women's match, Styles vs Carrillo.

Didn't like: Brock Lesnar vs Cain Velasquez, Seth vs Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman vs Tyson Fury, The Viking losing in an abrupt fashion.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
