WWE NXT 4/9/19 | My Coherent Review.

We're just two weeks away till NXT adds another hour and also broadcast live but did this episode built some excitement for the September 18th NXT show?

No, they took a clip of a typical anime as an inspiration and decided to have a filler episode which I get it considering that it gives the NXT creative team an opportunity to refill their creative kool-aid.

Breezango vs Chase Parker and Matt Martel.

If there's one thing both teams have in common is that their theme songs have funk in them. Fandango at one point, jirates after he hits a leg drop on Parker.

Minutes after Breeze tagged Fandango, he laid waste on Parker and Martel to which the fashion police won the match with a backbreaker position into an elbow drop from Fandango. Great seeing those guys utilized like that and hopefully that continues.

We went from a quick Jordan Myles interview from Cathy Kelly featuring Keith Lee to a beatdown from Io Shirai to Candice LeRae outside full sail to a quick Cameron Grimes promo frustrated that he's back in the line. That's a mouth full.

Velveteen Dream vs Kota Reeves.

WWE Photo
This was rather a quick one and Kota takes the finest L once again with a dream volley driver. After the match, Velveteen looks at the titantron to see Roderick Strong burning Dream's sofa.

We then watched a quick promo package about Rhea Ripley showing up on last week's NXT show and it has been announced that Baszler will face Ripley in a one on one match in a non-title match next week. I would've preferred if they put it on the Sep 18th episode but it is what it is.

Taynara vs Bianca Belair.

WWE Photo
This was aight. Taynara Conti beats up Belair's arm and minutes later, Bianca caught her on the outside after Taynara attempted a cross body and delivers her a fallaway slam. The match ended with the EST and won the match.

By the way, Bianca Belair is part of a triple threat match number one contender's match between Mia Yim and Io Shirai that's scheduled for the Sep 18th show. That should be very interesting.

Another thing that's going to happen next week, Johnny Gargano address his future and that could have a few scenarios. The obvious one being is he's moving to the main roster but the other could be that a wrestler will interrupt his promo *coughing Shane Throne* (by the way, I didn't read any spoilers, I'm just guessing that's all).

Adam Cole vs Jordan Myles for the NXT Championship.

WWE Photo
Adam starts off this match by taunting Jordan Myles. Myles then hits Cole's arm with a quick splash. Afterwards, Adam Cole pushed Myles on to the ring post which looked vicious.

Myles hits a beautiful looking crossbody to a near fall and then, Cole delivered a kick on Myles' head and a backstabber but that didn't end the match.

Cole reversed the 450 splash from Myles thanks to his knees and because of his right knee I believe, he retained the NXT championship with the last shot. This match had a very old school 1980s slow-paced feel to it for some odd reason.

Overall, I really like this match but it's not great or anything but Jordan Myles looked great in defeat. I say this word a lot but hopefully, he keeps on developing core character slowly but surely.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Adam Cole vs Jordan Myles for the NXT Championship.

Didn't like: Nothing.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
