WWE NXT 31/7/19 | My Coherent Review.

A very good edition of NXT TV and that’s all I have to say about that.

Tyler Breeze vs Jaxson Ryker.

WWE Photo
Ryker at one point, delivered a great backbreaker in a side slam position. Breeze took the W with the roll-up and Then, Prince Pretty was assaulted by the rest of Forgotten Sons. Fandango made his return to help his "Fashion Police" tag team partner in Tyler Breeze.

Man, what a way to start off this episode. I absolutely love this and Fandango came out of this like a Goddamn superstar just like his new body look. This could've easily ended a show but they decided not to which was interesting in terms of how Fandango showed up.

Bronson Reed ve Cameron Grimes. Semi-Finals NXT Breakout Tournament.

WWE Photo
During the match, Grimes almost took out the big man with a clothesline but minutes later, Reed countered that with a devastating looking senton. Grimes hits the running double stomp out of nowhere and advances the finals, facing the charismatic Jordan Myles.

Shayna Baszler Got Mia Yim's Message.

WWE Photo
The NXT women's champion talked about Mia Yim because Mia beating up Shayna's gang in Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir calling it "unprofessional". Mia Yim's music hits and when Yim walked by, she said that "street rat" is going to bring a fight the champ can't train for. Baszler replied by telling Mia that she's "street trash".

This segment did its job to build hype for the women's champion but I still don't feel that Canada isn't the place to lose Shayna's championship.

William Regal saw a pissed off Candice LeRae and Candice wanted a match against Io Shirai at Takeover Toronto. Regal said yes. Also, a tag team championship contract signing for next week's show as well as my quick predictions for NXT Takeover: Toronto so follow this very blog for that.

Pete Dunne vs Roderick Strong.

WWE Photo
This match has one of the best sequences I've seen all year and I'll tell you my favourite one. Roderick Strong delivered an Olympic slam and tried to hit a back suplex but Dunne reversed that into a DDT.

Another great sequence was when Strong hits a powerbomb and turned it into a Boston crab. Pete Dunne reversed that into a submission which included that finger-snapping move that Dunne usually does and won the match.

WWE Photo
Velveteen Dream came out and did a pose with the title to which Pete Dunne grabbed his hand and took Dream out with the bitter end. I got nothing to add other than it was a great main event. Can't wait for Dunne, Strong and Dream square off at Takeover: Toronto.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Fandango's great return, Pete Dunne vs Roderick Strong.

Didn't like: Nothing.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Did NXT Just Delivered Their Best Go Home Show!?, A Fantastic AEW Dynamite Main Event.

Did I just witness the best NXT go home show ever?  The answer my friends is yes.  While I prefer NXT this week, AEW Dynamite wasn't bad either and a big step up compared to the series of bore-fest shows they produced.  NXT   Highlights.  Msk vs Legado De La Fantasma. Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament SemiFinals.  God damn. What a way to start off the NXT before Vengeance Day.  Unique offensives from Msk is why that tag team is growing on me pretty quickly.  And luckily for them, they advance to the finals which will be conducted at Takeover: Vengeance Day with a double team manoeuvre.  Xia Li Continues To Dominate.  I've been a fan of whatever NXT is doing with this angle and it's mainly because they're embracing the cinematic scripted nature of the business which is what some consider "unrealistic" for some reason.  And yet, they don't mind The Undertaker shooting lightning-like Static Shock at Royal Rumble 2006 but he...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...
