AEW All Out | My Coherent Review.

All Out was a homerun. That show overall was amazing and it ended the day of great Triple wrestling shows. What a way to kick off the weekend huh? Also, I haven’t watched some of the pre-show but all I can is that Nyla Rose, Britt Baker and Private Party are stars.

SCU in Christopher Daniels, Frank Kazarian and Scorpio Sky vs Jurassic Express in Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus And Marko Stunt.

Just like Double Or Nothing, All Out opens with an SCU that was decent to watch. Jungle Boy shows the audience some of his athleticism throughout the beginning of this 6 man tag team match up. The Jurassic Express gave SCU a unique suicide dive from each member of the Jungle group.

Christopher Daniels then executed a floss dance your dad edition but he ate a clothesline from Jungle Boy. Luchasaurus gave the fans a pop with a standing moonsault, however, they would be disappointed once SCU hits the best Meltzer ever to Marko Stunt and won this bout.

The entire participants in that match gave each respect so that's nice. Can you give The Jurassic Express the tag team belts already?

Kenny Omega vs Pac.

Wow, this is a big match and a full hour hasn't gone but was it worth it? I would so. It was a good match but not great. Omega tried to hit a famous er of some sort but Pac reversed it. Pac then delivered a flapjack to Omega on the ring apron which looked brutal.

Jim Ross made one of the calls of the year by saying that "Pac's a dumb bastard going for a cover". I guess Pac followed R Truth's advice and has his own little Jimmy.

Pac delivered a picture-perfect moonsault from the top rope outside the ring which led to Pac hit a 450 splash but Kenny Omega kicked out. Afterwards, Omega hits a fly by or the sit-out spinebuster to a near fall. The match ended with Pac turned the one-winged into a modified rings of Saturn and Pac won this match.

I'm actually surprised by this win like really. I thought this was a way for Kenny to win so that he could face Jon Moxley at some point down the line but like I said, I'm very much surprised.

Darby Allen vs Jimmy Havoc vs Joey Janela. Cracker Barrel Match.

AEW All Out: Joey Janela vs. Jimmy Havoc vs. Darby Allin

Joey Janela hits a jacket driver to Allen on the ring apron to which he landed hard when Havoc reversed the moonsault from Janela (how are you alive Joey?).

Darby then delivers a stomp with a skateboard that had thumbtack on the bottom on Janela's back and minutes later, he followed Janela's advice by almost killing himself this time it was a senton with that cracker barrel reversed by you guessed it, Jimmy Havoc.

Havoc won the match with the rainmaker clothesline to Janela through a cracker barrel. Besides the madness and Jim's takes on Fried Chicken on commentary, this was a fun brutal match and that sentence was definitely not an oxymoron.

Best Friends vs Dark Order. Winner Gets A First Round Bye In The AEW Tag Team Titles.

AEW All Out: Dark Order vs. Best Friends

That was a "filled up your drinks" match for me. Also when Grayson said that he wants one of the members of Best Friends aka Trent Barreta to die and Jim Ross replied with "Well that's an HR issue". I just spilt out my drink when JR said it. That was hilarious not gonna lie. The Dark Order won the match then the lights when off and cooler Jason Solomon aka Orange Cassidy delivers the suicide dive while he puts his hands inside his pockets. That was a great, great, great, great ending.

Hikaru Shida vs Riho. Winner Faces Nyla Rose for the AEW Women's Championship at Oct 2nd on TNT.

AEW All Out: Riho vs. Hikaru Shida

Due to some live stream buffers from the FITE app, I've missed some of the match but what I've seen from most of it was decent. Riho delivered the stomp from the top rope on the ring apron to Hikaru Shida.

The match ends with Riho winning the match with a crucifix pin and she's on her way to becoming the first-ever AEW Women's Championship but she has to go through Nyla Rose first. That match could either be a squash match or a very competitive big vs small match. Will find out on October 2nd.

Cody Rhodes vs Shawn Spears. A Personal Rivalry.

AEW All Out: Cody vs. Shawn Spears

You're absolutely right the title above me and that overall encounter was quote Jim Ross back in the day, "damn sure personal" (no shit, Omar). Also, that theme song from Shawn Spears was great as well as Cody's Jean Luc Pidcard Star Trek-inspired entrance.

Spears took a belt from Tully Blanchard and hits Cody without the ref's knowledge like when your father finds out you failed in all of the subjects and decides to hit you with a belt. MJF and Tully teased a brawl and we got bits of it until Shawn kicked MJF's head off which made Friedman land outside the ring.

Arn f'ing Anderson came out to the ring and immediately delivers his signature spinebuster. The match ends with a Cross Rhodes from Cody Rhodes and he finally got his revenge. Honestly, this was a decent match. I would prefer a W from Shawn Spears but it is what it is.

Lucha Brothers in Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix vs The Young Bucks In Matt And Nick Jackson for the AAA World Tag Team Championship In a Ladder Match.

AEW All Out: Young Bucks vs. Lucha Brothers

No fear or no-balls as The Young Bucks would like to put it vs Super Kick Fiesta. Speaking of balls, Lucha Bros started off this match by hitting on Matt's balls with a kick from Pentagon Jr.

Rey then delivers a suicide dive from the top ladder that was set up outside the ring to which The Lucha Bros hits both Young Bros with a double spear to the outside through two tables each.

Pentagon then delivered a sling blade from the ladder onto the ring and moments later, a Canadian destroyer on Nick Jackson from the ladder through a Goddamn table.

Matt Jackson unmasked Pentagon's mask so that he could take the belts but that failed because once The Lucha Bros got rid of The Young Bucks, they captured the tag belt.

After the match, two masked figures beat up the champions and the challengers and those guys revealed themselves as Santana and Ortiz aka LAX. F' YESSSSSSSSSS! Get pick up by AEW. Can't wait for those guys to enhance the AEW tag team division. That match was fantastic and my dumbass was a bit sceptical going into this match because I wasn't sure if their Double Or Nothing match would top this and yet it did.

Hangman Adam Page vs Chris Jericho for the AEW World Championship.

AEW All Out: Hangman Page vs. Chris Jericho

Page riding a horse is something I would, to quote his opponent, "never EVVVVVVVER!" do. By the way, really like the fact that the referee is a woman and I don't know exactly why but I just really appreciate it.

Jericho punishes Adam Page's arm using a barricade in front of Paige's family. Page then delivers a rolling senton from the ring apron to Chris Jericho outside the ring which looked pretty cool.

Moments later, Page lands himself with a moonsault to Jericho and unfortunately, he hit his leg. Jericho kicked out of the dead eye from Hangman Adam Page but he strikes Page with the judas effect and Chris Jericho just became the first-ever AEW World champion. That was a very hard-hitting main event that started off slow as a turtle however, it did pick up nicely.

That was a long day of professional wrestling and yet it was a great one. I've not watched the NJPW show but with that show, NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff (which you can click here to read the whole thing) and AEW All Out. That day was well spent. Goodnight folks and enjoy your Sunday.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The Young Bucks vs The Lucha Bros, The Cracker Barrel match, Omega vs Pac.

Didn’t Like: Jim Ross is hit or miss on commentary.

My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Chris Jericho Offers Moxley To Join Inner Circle, The Go-Home Show Before Dec 18th.

I thought the middle act of AEW Dynamite suffered some pacing issues even though it was overall a much stronger show than last week's episode.  The latest episode of NXT, however, has built a solid foundation on what's to come on December 18th. The main question is, which show do I like better? The answer is AEW.  NXT  Highlights. Angel Garza vs Lio Rush For The NXT Cruiserweight Championship.  Was this match better than their first encounter? Like Snoop Dogg's verse in Sasha Banks' theme song, "Hell yea". Garza slams Rush hard on the ring apron by pushing the champ. Moments later, Garza delivers the Spanish Fly and Rush kicked out of that.  As Rush hits the frog splash, the champ wanted to pull him back in the middle of the ring but instead, he ripped off Garza's pants (nice attention to detail).  Angel then hits the wind clipper but Lio kicked out which led to a wind clipper submission and the man of the hour tapped out which m...

A Brief Guide To Pro Wrestling Websites.

So. You just become a fan of pro wrestling and have dabbled into the fandom for a bit (it's a mess ain't it?) You've just followed some news sites' social media platforms but aren't sure whether the articles they put out are accurate or not.  Well, you got the right guy to solve that problem if it's from a blog that barely gets any traction (that would be me in case you were confused).  The news we get from the medium that is pro wrestling is an integral part of the online space.  The reason being is that it's not only a great conversation starter but you could also learn something new today about the industry you love.  That doesn't mean that all of the news you see on the timeline is reliable.  I'm here to hopefully give you a guide to wrestling sites.  There are many wrestling websites out there but I wanna highlight some of the notable ones.  Okay? Here we go.  #1: Wrestling Observer Newsletter aka F4WOnline.  I can't talk about a guide t...

NXT Takeover Phoenix | My Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover was a great show with great wrestling, energetic crowd and intriguing storytelling (OMG, REALLY? I didn’t know that).  War Raiders vs The Undisputed Era (Kyle O’ Reilly and Roderick Strong) for the NXT Tag Team Championship.  First off, cool entrance by War Raiders. Secondly, the match was entertaining. At one point, Strong did a superplex to Hanson. The match ended with War Raiders delivered the Fallout to Kyle O ‘Reilly and won the match. War Raiders are the new NXT Tag Team Champions deservedly so.  Matt Riddle vs Kassius Ohno. During the match, Ohno hit Riddle right on his mouth which absolutely looked brutal. Minutes after that, Riddle hits Ohno with series of elbow strikes which made Ohno tap out and won the match. A very unique finish but nevertheless, this was a decent match.  Johnny Gargano vs Ricochet for the NXT North American Championship.  Those guys put on the absolute clinic of a wrestling match. But that ending ...
