WWE Smackdown Live 2/7/19 | My Coherent Review.

Apparently, Eric Bischoff had a hand in this episode of Smackdown Live because I didn't feel like it. This was a dull show just like last week's episode. And Yes, I've made a custom graphic this time because I couldn't find the WWE preview show graphic that I usually post. What do you think guys?

The KO show. Special Guest, Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre.

KO welcomes his guests that will team up to take on The Undertaker and Roman Reigns…

As you can tell from reading the headline, the show didn't start off with The New Day and he introduced The Phenom (referring to The Undertaker) "The Phenum" which was unintentionally funny. He then brought up his guests and after Shane got his usual introduction from Greg Hamilton, showed him a video highlight of The Undertaker showing up on RAW last night (which you can click here to read my RAW review).

Shane and Drew mock The Undertaker after KO shows footage of what happened last night.

Shane replied to that by saying that he's not afraid of The Undertaker and he made that tag match a no holds barred. Kevin Owens was then pretty much was messing with McMahon and out came, Dolph Ziggler and he made a fat joke *sigh* saying that Kevin Owens looks like he could enter in a hot dog eating contest.

Suddenly, Dolph Ziggler hits the scene and says he looks the part of WWE Champion while KO looks like he should be in a hot dog eating contest.

Shane McMahon had an idea and that idea was putting Owens and Ziggler in a tag team match against Heavy Machinery and if one of those team wins then they go to face The New Day and The Planet's Champions for The Smackdown Live tag team titles.

First off, where's Sami Zayn in this? Second off, since when Owens is a face? Did I miss an episode or something? That babyface turn felt random. Maybe it's his history with Shane McMahon almost 2 years ago that made him turn the other way? Gotta be honest, I feel neutral about this because Owens was a meh babyface earlier this year and his heel run started off great and ended with a meh like his face run. Is WWE finally going to utilize him as a character greatly? I hope.

Big E vs Daniel Bryan.

WWE Photo

This was okay. Daniel Bryan won the match with the running knee due to Rowan pushing Big E onto the ring post and puts him back in the ring.

Kayla Braxton interviewed R Truth about his title loss last night and he said that he wants his "7/11 European TV" championship back. I know this has been told by everybody but man, that dude is entertaining af.

Nikki Cross Hosts The Moment Of Bliss And Her Guest Is Bayley.

Cross thinks Bayley is wrong about Bliss, but Bayley cuts her off and says Alexa isn̢۪t really her friend.

Let's break this segment down. Nikki Cross because she's the host, introduced her guest in the SmackDown Live women's champion Bayley. Bayley was "shocked" that Cross got the spotlight and Cross asked her (and I know I'm paraphrasing) "why did you call Alexa a liar?"

WWE Photo

And Bayley replied with "because she's a liar". Cross challenged her to a match and Bayley accepted. The match ended quickly with a Bayley to belly.

I forgot to mention that in my reviews but I went from straight up hating "normal" Nikki Cross to actually enjoying her character and you can tell from her expression that she really enjoys being in this storyline. Also, if those two women were given a lot of time then they would've given us a good match if not a great match.

Kofi Kingston And Samoa Joe. Face To Face Confrontation.

Joe says Kofi is a hustler and that he uses The New Day for his own gain.

Kayla Braxton moderates this confrontation and introduced the champ and the challenger. Samoa Joe advised Braxton to get out of the ring for obvious reasons and told Kofi that he's using his friends (that was lame. Joe's better than that).

Kofi replied by saying that his ass is too big to play hide and seek (great line by the way). Samoa Joe replied that by cutting the same promo but with different words before Kofi had something to say.

Joe says everyone Kofi loves will be safe until WWE Extreme Rules, but Kofi blasts him with Trouble in Paradise!

What's different about Joe's promo is him telling Kingston to shake his hand. Kofi showed him the middle finger but it was blocked by Samoa Joe’s head and hits him with the trouble in paradise.

Kofi was the best part about his segment and Samoa Joe was the exact opposite. It was okay for what it was. Still no answer as to why Joe attacked Kofi a few weeks ago.

Apollo Crews vs Andrade.

WWE Photo

Before this match, we got an update about the incident that happened on the opening match of RAW and it was Bobby Lashley cutting a promo basically saying that he's gonna beat the hell out of Braun Strowman.

Ali had a video promo pretty much saying that he wants to be champion but not for fame or fortune. This was pretty decent.

This match, however, had a decent back and forth. Andrade won the match with the hammerlock DDT.

After Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler seemingly being on the same page in the locker room, Aleister Black cut a promo saying that person should reveal himself at Extreme Rules. Is he having a match at Extreme Rules? We shall see.

Ember Moon vs Mandy Rose.

WWE Photo

Ember Moon actually took a W this time. She won the match with the eclipse.

Heavy Machinery vs Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens.

WWE Photo

During the match, The New Day, Daniel Bryan and Rowan were on commentary talking crap to each other and all of those teams started to brawl aka chaos ensued. Because of that, the match was restarted (huh?).

WWE Photo

The match ended with Dolph accidentally hits Owens with a superkick and Heavy Machinery took that as an opportunity to deliver Owens with the compactor. In other words, they're in the SmackDown Live tag team championship match at Extreme Rules.

After the match, Kevin Owens quickly delivers the stunner to Ziggler. The match itself was okay. Didn't have that main event feel because it was too damn slow in the start but it was nice that WWE gave Heavy Machinery the chance to main event SmackDown Live.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Other than Nikki Cross as her normal self and Kofi Kingston in that segment with Samoa Joe, nothing really.

Didn't like: Samoa Joe in that face to face confrontation.

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

Let's Talk About The White Rabbit In The Room.

I haven't reviewed last year's show mainly because it was so good and clearly as extreme as any ECW match and I'm happy to tell all 3 of y'all that this one is better by several inches or so. Why? *slaps my bald head* HERE'S WHY. The opening match between Sheamus and Gunther's crew ruled harder than the Mongolian empire.  It was basically an enhanced version of Sheamus' match with Gunther last night on Smackdown and I loved it.  The Brawling Brutes' victory means one thing that is clearly obvious, a rematch between Sheamus and Gunther for the intercontinental championship aka the only series of rematches I don't mind.  Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan delivered in what was a wrestling match equivalent to the X-Men Dark Phoenix movie.  While Bianca Belair and Bayley had their equivalent to the first Iron Man movie in that it was decent.  Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross had an okay edition of the "Meaty men slapping meat".  That spear from Edge to...

A Few Thoughts On RAW And Smackdown: RAW wasn't GREAT!?

Since this blog will be less of a priority now considering I'm focusing on my podcast now (hit the 5 stars on Apple Podcast you sons of b*tches), I decided to share my few thoughts on RAW, Smackdown, I guess?  Smackdown.  The blue brand delivered yet another good episode this week and it's probably due to the fact that Braun Strowman taking out the Maximum Model is high-key funny as f**k.  The folks over at Titan Towers are bringing back the essence of their characters whether it's Kevin Owens, Shayna Baszler or in this case, Big Braun himself.   As a fan, you gotta love it, especially since in the case of Strowman, the dude hasn't been the same since he turned heel 4 years ago when feuding with Roman Reigns for the universal title.   Other noteworthy segments include Logan Paul challenging Roman Reigns for the big world universal multiverse galactic cinematic championship.  Imagine they pulled that match off 7 years ago back when Logan was on V...
