The 5 News Week: Reports On WWE's Inactive Internal List, Harvard Business School Will Propose A Case Study That Includes WWE This Fall.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.

Harvard Business School Will Propose A Case Study That Includes WWE This Fall.

I know this is a month old news but I feel like it's an interesting piece of news that no pro wrestling website I saw covered this and the Google News app notified me about it so blame Google.

So, Harvard Business School is offering Anita Elberse's course about "The Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports” that will enrol 180 MBA students for their second year (which stands for master of business administration for all of you slow mofos) and WWE is featured as a case study. That course will also observe other major recognizable brands like The Walt Disney Studios, NBCUniversal, Nike and more.

Anita's courses are quoted by Variety as "a series of fresh, entertainment-focused cases for future execs and management students.” WWE has stated the goal for this course quote:

"The course will explore factors that drive sustained success for organizations and individuals in sports and entertainment; understand how companies can diversify beyond their core business to create engagement and value for fans and other stakeholders; and how business can best pursue contracts with star talent."

Reports On WWE's Inactive Internal List.

WWE may pad themselves on the back for them being featured as a Havard course case study but this is something they should pay attention to more if the report is true (which It most likely is). From Fightful and Sean Ross Sapp, this Inactive internal list is more than just an injury report.

It contains not only injured Superstars but as well as stars that haven't been on TV for specific reasons such as Alexa Bliss having "an illness", Finn Balor being in his home country in Ireland, Naomi and The Usos (aka Jimmy Uso I assume) were on "vacation" and all of that was listed almost two weeks ago as of writing this.

Also, things that were listed on that report are the scheduled time for wrestler's returns, the scheduled evaluation on wrestler's injuries and quote "no contract" list. That no contract included guys like Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon which is bizarre and that internal list hasn't mentioned Ronda Rousey whatsoever. What do I think of this? Surprised given that I thought that the handling of wrestler's injuries etc wasn't convoluted as to how Fightful's article described.

Tamina Is Sidelined With An Injury.

Somebody that I assumed was on that "report" is Tamina and she suffered from a concussion. According to PWInsider and Mike Johnson, Tamina was part of a tag team match against Naomi and Dana Brooke and her tag team partner was Sarah Logan.

Johnson believed that Tamina suffered from a concussion after a knee that was delivered by Naomi. Snuka was quote "down in the ring for an extended period of time before being helped to the back." Wishing her a speedy, speedy recovery.

Fox Sports Removes The Video Of Bayley Explaining Superstars Driving From City To City.

There was a viral clip being played where the interviewer in Kristine Leahy was shocked after Bayley described wrestlers’ have to drive from city to city and rent a hotel.

Well, the FS1 show Leahy hosts' official Twitter handle actually posted that moment on Twitter and have since deleted it likely due to the fans laughing at it like laughing at certain scenes from the greatest awful movie in "The Room".

Former Host For Jerry Lawler's Podcast Scamming Fans For Thousands Of Dollars.

Somebody has been a very naughty, naughty boy (that was beyond cringeworthy). From Wrestlingnews.co (it's not an exclusive report of theirs but some of the information does from them), a former host of Jerry Lawler's "Dinner With The King" podcast named Glenn Moore is getting a lot of heat for scamming fans.

One fan, in particular, Jason Laurie, paid $250 for the artwork and paid $1,500 for the oil paintings of Jason's cat because he loved the artwork he received so much but he didn't get that painting for some reason.

Jason spoke with WMC5 action news and in it, he mentioned that Lawler and Glenn Moore were laughing at Jason's painting on a episode of "Dinner With The King" last November which doesn't paint a good picture that Jerry wants to put out (see what I did there?) but he did reach out to Jason and other fans that were scammed by Moore. Lawler even spoke with Jason for more than an hour, so that's a plus.

A pediatric cancer charity was also a victim of  Moore's scams. Glenn Moore is a douchebag, that is all.

Sorry for posting this a week late. Just had to deal with the usual outside world and stay tuned for my Extreme Rules 2019 review once the show is over in a couple of hours or in several hours depending on the day. What do you think about the news I just reported and follow me on the tweets @omartheplayaguy. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.  The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"  With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.  Eddie Kingston (wi...
