WWE RAW 3/6/19 | My Coherent Review.

This was a roller coaster ride of emotions for this episode of Monday Night RAW. The good was really good but the bad. Oh, the bad was just painful for my brain to handle all the booking holes.

Opening Segment.

Roman Reigns kicks off Monday Night Raw!
The show kicked off with Roman Reigns coming out to the ring using the wildcard rule *sigh*. Roman Reigns grabbed the microphone and when he was about to speak, Shane McMahon's music hits.

The Big Dog is immediately interrupted by Shane McMahon!
After Mike Rome was forced to give a big introduction, Shane McMahon said that he cannot wait to shut Roman up and basically described how he's gonna beat Roman at Super showdown. Roman replied by saying that he's gonna beat Shane McMahon at Super showdown and Drew McIntyre at Stomping Ground.

Suddenly, The Revival attack Reigns from behind!
Drew McIntyre came out and said that he's not gonna wait later tonight to beat Roman. The Revival came from behind and beats up Roman until The Usos makes the save. The first match confirmed for WWE Stomping Ground and WWE just made this PPV not must see with that match announced. Even though I don't give a crap about the feud between Roman and Shane, surprisingly, this segment was not boring, unlike the past few weeks.

Roman Reigns and The Usos vs The Revival and Drew McIntyre.

This was a decent match actually and the crowd in the University of Texas really helped. The team of Drew McIntyre and The Revival won the match via a distraction from Shane McMahon.

After the match, the heel team and Shane McMahon were beating up Roman Reigns and a spear from Shane himself which looked pretty decent for an almost 59-year-old dude. Putting a statement on Roman Reigns.

Miz TV: Special Guest, Seth Rollins.

Miz wants to know what̢۪s going through Rollins̢۪ mind since Brock Lesnar has promised to cash in tonight.
The Miz made the "alright, alright, alright" line considering that Matthew McConaughey was sitting front row. Anyways, he introduced the beast slayer in Seth Rollins and Miz asked him about how does Seth Rollins feel about Brock Lesnar cashing in?

Suddenly, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar show up at the arena!
Seth replied by saying that Paul Heyman hasn't told the truth like ever according to Seth and he mentions his match with Baron Corbin at Super showdown. Meanwhile, on the parking backstage area, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar walks to the entrance way, stops for a minute and turned the other way.

What a waste of a segment and it wasn't a good way to build a Universal Championship match at Super showdown that nobody (aka myself and mostly others) cares about.

After an in-ring segment between Lars Sullivan and the Lucha House Party, The IIconics were making fun of Nikki Cross until Alexa Bliss showed up and Peyton told Bliss that she has a match to prepare for against Nikki Cross. Bliss mentioned about how people don't like her to which Nikki calmed her with a compliment.

Becky Lynch Talks About Her Contentment.

Becky Lynch cut a promo basically saying that she's been through a lot for the past 60+ days and how contentment is the worst thing that can happen to a fighter like her. The Man also said that she's pissed about what happened at Money In The Bank a couple of weeks ago and out came the Sassy Southern Bell.

The Man knows that contentment is the worst thing that can happen to a fighter like her, and she claims that something woke up in her when Lacey Evans helped Charlotte Flair beat her for the SmackDown Women̢۪s Title at WWE Money in the Bank.
Lacy Evans said that Becky shouldn't represent the women's division and Becky using the Southern accent, told Lacey to get into the ring. Charlotte Flair came out and said that Becky shouldn't make excuses because she beat Becky. Lacey and Charlotte went back in forth verbally until Evans hit The Queen with the women's right. This segment itself was really boring overall but I did like how Lacey and Charlotte carried themselves in this.

Also, the alliance formed between the two blondes was broken up way too early and I wish WWE would marinade that friendship for a longer period of time you know what I'm saying?

Charlotte Flair vs Lacey Evans.

WWE Photo
Two heels fighting and it was okay. Becky Lynch cost them a clean victory, ending the match in a DQ. If she wanted to end the match then why she waited for several minutes to do this?

Rey Mysterio Relinquished The United States championship.

“Due to my current shoulder injury, I’m here to relinquish my United States Championship to Samoa Joe.”
Rey Mysterio said that he sets the right example for his son training to be championship. He was gonna relinquish the championship until Samoa Joe came out and said that he heard a champion and thought that this was Joe's time to come out to the ring.

Rey replied by saying that he's gonna relinquish the title to Samoa Joe and Joe choked Rey out with the kokina clutch. In other words, Samoa Joe is a two time United States championship. This was okay I guess.

Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley Are Gonna Have An Arm Wrestling Match.

WWE Photo
If you have been a fan of this product for years then you'll know how this will end. The babyface won that match and then the heel makes a statement. That's exactly what happened in this. What a waste. Not hating on the fact that it was predictable. I just hated the fact that it doesn't add anything to that formula.

Peyton Royce vs Nikki Cross.

WWE Photo
Nikki Cross won the match with a neckbreaker with the help of the top rope. The IIconics haven't won a match in weeks and it's now becoming the norm at this point.

Seth Rollins Waits for The Beast To Compete.

WWE Photo
Seth was talking about he being a champion until Brock's music hits and the beast didn't show up. Seth calls out Brock to which Baron Corbin came out and said that Seth needs to forget about Brock and concentrate to The Lone Wolf. An insult later, Seth Rollins and Baron Corbin were beating up each other until Corbin delivers Seth with the end of days. Brock Lesnar came out and hits Seth with chair shots, German suplex and an F5.

WWE Photo
Paul shouts at Brock to cash in the contract and Brock said "Friday, Friday". Minutes after that, Brock hits Seth with the Money In The Bank briefcase. Damn, how's is Seth alive after that beatdown? Don't know why Brock couldn't cash in the contract I mean that was a perfect moment to do it but what do I know?

In the latest edition of The Firefly fun house and Bray Wyatt talked about exercise with a puppet pig named Huskus that has a German accent. Wyatt told Huskus that he can be anything even a genius. Out came a puppet-sized Vince McMahon (I mean you could call him evil Vince but Vince has always been evil so why call him that?) and Bray started to dance with puppet Vince and Huskus the pig. This was by far the weirdest segment of all the firefly fun house segments and it's by far my favourite firefly fun house segment.

Triple H and Randy Orton Has Some Clashing Of Words.

WWE Photo
Triple H was about to talk about Randy Orton after the crowds started to chant "NXT" until Randy Orton himself showed up. Triple H said that he's not gonna waste any time and he's gonna kick Randy's ass. Randy Orton said that he's not gonna end up like Batista at Wrestlemania 35. Triple H countered back by saying that superstars over the years have tried to put him down but he's still standing and they are all gone.

Randy told him to stop for a minute and ask him for an “act of kindness” quote "Can you promise me that Friday before you step into that ring with me that you retrieve your balls from Stephanie McMahon?" Hunter then told him that it's really big and it is something that Randy doesn't have. Man, Randy is so good in the mic when you give him the opportunity to cut a promo. For a match I don't give a crap about, this segment was short and to the point.

Ricochet vs Cesaro.

WWE Photo
A rubber match and was the third match of the trilogy any good? It was like the other matches, pretty decent. After Ricochet won the match with a roll up, the Swiss Cyborg beats up Ricochet and brings up a table with R Truth on it and the lower midcard guys were chasing him. Boy, what was Truth thinking on hiding under the ring?

Undertaker Shows Up.

“Goldberg, this Friday, you will get the answer. When I stand across the ring from you for the very first time, I don’t want Goldberg the family man. I want the unstoppable, mythical icon Goldberg!
Undertaker basically said that he doesn't want a smiling Goldberg and told Goldberg that he's next and then the show abruptly ended just like that. That was weird.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: The Randy and Triple H segment, Firefly fun house, Lacey and Charlotte carried themselves well in the segment with Becky Lynch.

Didn't like:  The ending of the Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair match, The IIconics losing again, Brock not cashing in despite having a perfect opportunity to do so, Braun and Lashley arm wrestling match.

WWE RAW 7/1/19 | My Coherent Review

My first RAW review of 2019 and surprisingly, this show was decent. Now, would RAW put on decent shows in the coming weeks or months? Probably not but I hope that's the case. Now, usually on my RAW and Smackdown Live reviews, I give my thoughts on what's good, what's ok and what bad ( click here if you curious as to how the format looks like). However, since this is the new year, I'm gonna get rid of that and instead just put my in-depth thoughts just like my PPV reviews. Without further ado, on with the review.  Opening Segment The show itself started off with a brawl between Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley that lasted for a very short period of time. After that’s done, the opening segment started with John Cena and cuts a promo on how he’s gonna earn his golden ticket to Wrestlemania by entering in this year’s Royal Rumble match.  Out came Drew McIntyre and he said that Cena’s accomplishments is what Drew cares about. He then went on how he’s b...

The 5 News Week: The Current Plan For Eva Marie According To Reports.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  What’s Going On With The ShowBuzz Daily Website!? Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer has expressed concern regarding Showbuzz Daily not posting the daily TV rating due to technical issues stating (from Cagesideseats ) "all wrestling companies, TV companies, sports stations, etc. looked to that site for numbers.” The owner of the Showbuzz Daily entity, Mitch Metcalf, took to the blue hell that is Twitter and said that they can't add content to the site anymore over a shutdown that isn't clear as to what caused the shutdown itself.  Metcalf went on to highlight that due to operating the site without generating revenue, the cost and time to bring back the site has made him think about the future of ShowBuzz Daily.  Is...

WWE Super Showdown 2020 | My Coherent Review.

Super showdown 2020 was dull, boring and even frustrating at times. The two previous Saudi shows from last year were surprisingly okay but this was just a flavourless taste in my mouth and this is coming from the resident WWE shill. By far, the worst PPV of 2020 so far.  PRESHOW: The Viking Raiders vs The O.C. In Luke Gallows And Karl Anderson.  A skippable match that we've seen for the gazillionth time. Yay for unwanted repetition! The O.C wins. Cool.  MAIN-SHOW: AJ Styles vs. Andrade vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Erick Rowan vs. R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio. Gauntlet Match for the Tuwaiq Trophy.  R Truth and Bobby Lashley started off this match and Truth wins via a roll-up. Lashley then attacks R Truth (like we've not seen that spot before) to which out came the second opponent of the night, the returning Andrade and the way that encounter ended was odd yet somehow not horrible.  Both men hit each other with their heads and Truth pins the guy to keep fight...
