WWE NXT 26/6/19 | My Coherent Review.

This was a decent episode with a shocking ending. Find out about my thoughts on the ending by scrolling down at the end.

Joaquin Wilde aka DJZ vs Angel Garza aka Humberto Garza.

This episode of NXT kicked off with the first round of the NXT Breakout tournament if you can't tell from reading the heading above.

I'm familiar with DJZ because of his days in TNA when I used to watch Impact. Nigel made mention that Angel Garza is actually cousins with Humberto Carrillo. During the match, Garza took off in what I thought was his wrestling tights and showed off his wrestling trunks instead which was funny.

The match ended with Angel Garza delivering a butterfly stunner minutes after he hit a Spanish fly from the top rope and won the match. Didn't expect this win but this match was a banger. A good kind of banger (okay. That just sounded weird).

Then, Damian Priest was interviewed outside the arena about his impressive debut match and Priest simply said that nobody will forget the name of Damian Priest. I love that dude's voice already. Makes me feel jibbly inside (why am I so odd today?)

The Street Profits vs The Forgotten Sons for the NXT Tag Team Championship.

WWE Photo
Before the match started, The Street Profits wants to put the title on the line in this match and obviously, they accepted. The match ended in a DQ after Jaxson Ryker puts his hands on Angelo Dawkins. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan came out and took out The Forgotten Sons and both Lorcan and Burch had the titles in possession.

They eventually gave it to The Street Profits and The Profits hold those titles high. Give me that match between Burch and Oney Lorcan vs The Street Profits instead of a triple threat tag match with The Forgotten Sons added because a two on two match sounds intriguing.

Nykos Rikos vs The Returning Keith Lee.

This was a straight up squash match. Keith Lee won the match with a limit breaker which is a fireman's carry into a powerslam.

Adam Cole had his championship celebration kicked off with him going into a shop in England called "The Gargano's" and speaking of The Undisputed Era, a match between Roderick Strong and Tyler Breeze is scheduled for next week's NXT TV episode as well as the NXT Breakout tournament continues on. Should be a………. Banger (Why Omar? Just Why?)

Io Shirai vs Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women's Championship Inside A Steel Cage.

WWE Photo
I love Mauro Ranallo and I hate being that guy but I gotta correct him on this. This is not the first time that we've had a women's steel cage match. Maybe he meant that it's the first time that the NXT women's championship was defended inside a steel cage?

Either way, the match already happened and it was great. Io at one point, delivered a moonsault from the top of the cage after Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir interfered in the match to which Candice LeRae helped even the odds.

The match ended with an oopse from Io in the sense that she used the cage door to escape the submission hold delivered by Baszler and then, Baszler collapsed on the outside. Io Shirai finally snapped and puts her frustrations on Candice by psychotically beating the crap out of her. I really like that heel turn because she was kinda bland as a character and she needed a spark in her.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: The steel cage match and the ending, the opening match.

Didn’t like: nothing.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
