WWE RAW 27/5/19 | My Coherent Review.

This was a bad show and I don't know I'm alone in this or not but after watching this, it seems that you haven't missed anything big.

Is This What You Call An Opening Segment?

Universal Champion Seth Rollins hits the scene instead, and he too taunts The Beast and tells him to come to the ring and make his decision.
After a touching video package about Memorial day, the WWE champion in Kofi Kingston showed up to the ring (which is not becoming a rare thing when it comes to opening segments on RAW). Kofi said that he's still standing after a beating he took from Ziggler last week but that's not why he came to RAW.

WWE Photo
He's here to call out the Beast but instead, out came the Beast Slayer. Seth basically said that he's not gonna wait for that decision and he calls out Brock. Brock Lesnar came out with a piece of awful different theme music and bows his head to Kofi's and Seth's theme song that was played simultaneously. Seth Rollins lost his patience and decided to walk out of the ring. Paul Heyman cut a promo basically saying that Seth Rollins ruined Brock's party (yea, one of the best promo guys of all time cut a terrible promo).

WWE Photo
Dolph Ziggler attacks Kofi!Dolph Ziggler from behind came out and was beating up the champion until Xavier Woods ran to the rescue. Both of those guys were in an all-out brawl as Michael Cole likes to put it to which Ziggler pushes Woods on the steel steps and hits Woods with a steel chair. Kofi Kingston came out to save Woods from a vicious attack. Dolph Ziggler cut a very good promo about how Kofi Kingston having that title on his waist should've been him and he's gonna take the WWE championship away from Kofi at Super Showdown. This should've happened on SmackDown Live tomorrow night but then again, Ziggler saved a horrible of an opening segment so yeah.

After that, The entire rest of the RAW roster were in the Memorial day party. Whatever.

Shane McMahon vs Lance Anoa'i.

WWE Photo
In Shane's promo before the match, McMahon talked about how respect is earned and hoe he knows Roman's father better than he does. Shane wants to call out a Samoan dynasty member and one of Roman's cousin in Lance Anoa'i showed up after the commercial break.

Shane puts Anoa'i to the outside and Drew was toying with the young man and that happened before the match started. Shane won the match with a triangle choke.

Shane puts Lance in that submission hold until Roman Reigns came out via the wildcard rule and puts Drew and Shane down with a superman punch. My response to this is just like what I said about the memorial day party, whatever.

Seth says the championship is his life and calls Lesnar “a joke.”

Brock Lesnar along with Paul Heyman, showed up to the ring with a ref and Paul Heyman said that he's gonna tell you who's Brock gonna cash in. Out came a pissed off Seth Rollins and he said that Brock makes a mockery out of the Universal Championship because he's a joke and a coward. He also told Lesnar to cash in and Brock didn't know that he could have the contract for a full year. Obviously, he refused and R Truth came out along with RAW's lower mid-card division chasing him.

Charly Caruso asked AJ Styles about his injury to which Baron Corbin sucker punched Styles.

Becky Lynch and Nikki Cross vs The IIconics.

WWE Photo
Basically the same match as last week's episode and it was meh. The team of Becky Lynch and Nikki Cross won the match with a slam and then, Lacey Evans did something that she does before Wrestlemania, she comes and she goes.

After that, The Usos and The Revival seemed to put their differences aside in that Memorial day party or did they? Will have to find out on next week's episode to witness another awful segment between those two even though they delivered us a fantastic match last week.

Ricochet vs Cesaro.

WWE Photo
This was a pretty decent match guys. During the match, Cesaro hits Ricochet with a devastating looking pop-up uppercut. Then, Ricochet delivered a snap sunset flip.

The match ended with Ricochet hitting a hurricanrana and won the match. If they gave those guys 10 more minutes then this would've been a great match.

After the match, Samoa Joe says that he's gonna take the championship from Mysterio on next week’s show.

Braun Strowman vs The Miz vs Baron Corbin vs Bobby Lashley.

 WWE Photo
This is probably one of the most boring fatal four-way match I've ever witnessed as a fan of professional wrestling. Baron Corbin won the match with an end of days to Miz which was a cool finish. The match between Rollins and Corbin doesn't sound exciting but considering that he sucker punched AJ earlier, Baron might not take the championship back to the states.

The latest edition of the firefly fun house and in it, Bray Wyatt was interacting with Abby the Witch and he did I'm assuming a tango with the little kids. By far the best thing about this show and I hope it doesn't eventually bore me to death.

Sami Zayn Q/A Interview with Corey Graves While Sami Sits On An Electric Chair.

Zayn tells the kid that her parents have done a terrible job.
One of the fans asked Zayn, when is your retirement date? Sami answered by telling that fan that is your parents related? It then went on a boring direction until Sami said that the questions they asked was horrible and they could've asked about AEW (oooh). Seth Rollins then came out and we got an impromptu match.

Don't know why Seth suddenly showed up other than he's waiting for Brock Lesnar even though Brock himself should've left the arena if he wanted to wait but that's just me.

Seth Rollins vs Sami Zayn.

WWE Photo
This was an alright main event match. Seth Rollins won the match with the stomp. That's is all folks.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Dolph Ziggler showing up and the promo he cut after beating up Woods and Kingston.

Didn't like: The fatal four-way number one contenders match for the Universal Championship, that horrible opening segment before Dolph showed up.

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

WWE Smackdown 16/7/21 | A Coherent Review.

Yay. Crowds are back which means *in the tone of BackStreet* What chants boys are back!  All lame jokes aside, it feels weird to see a full crowd once again in WWE programming.  It almost felt like it was a new invention and not something we've had for what it feels like an eternity now.  And WWE actually tried here because this episode was enjoyable as a whole.  Vinnie Mac with his uncreative, fickle a**, welcomed the most oppressed group (beside gamers) in human history aka wrestling fans to SmackDown.  Images via WWE.com Roman Reigns And The Usos vs Edge, Rey And Dominik Mysterio.  The live audience got electric for the Rated R superstar and I can't say that I blame them.  Speaking of the fans, they were into the bout until it ended via a roll-up from Jey Uso to Rey Mysterio. All 3 guys then attacked each other in a post-match beatdown but Edge stood tall in the end.  This is one of those bouts where the crowd made it into an 8 out of 10 instea...
