WWE RAW 20/5/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode was a snooze fest. If you want something that will make you sleep then forget about the sleeping pills, this episode will get the job done my guy.

Brock Lesnar aka “Mr Beast In The Bank” shows up.

He says paranoia is permeating through the room.
You guessed it, the show kicked off with the Money In The Bank ladder match winner himself, Brock Lesnar along with his advocate Paul Heyman and Brock is carrying the briefcase like that 80s music box which made me laugh I'm not gonna lie.

Paul Heyman addressed the Sami Zayn attack at Money In The Bank yesterday and also talked about how Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston should be scared. Out came Seth Rollins and he basically said that he's trying to be a champion that can inspire people and told the beast to cash in his contract “RIGHT NOW!”.

Paul Heyman then said that Seth should be used to waiting for things like how he's used to waiting 7 hours for his girlfriend to main event the show (savage). Obviously, that made Seth pissed and demanded Lesnar to cash in his contract until Kofi Kingston himself showed up. Kofi said that he's trying to establish his legacy as WWE champion and he can't do that unless he beats the best of the best.

Paul Heyman ended the segment by telling The champs to stay tuned for the beast is yet to come. Other than the line Heyman delivered about Seth’s girlfriend, this segment was aight.

Sami Zayn vs Braun Strowman.

Obviously, the rematch from last week's show and the match ended with a running powerslam to Sami. Whatever.

Lars Exclusive In Ring Interview With Charly Caruso.

WWE Photo
Caruso asked Sullivan what are his goals in WWE? Before he was about his speak, The Lucha House Party showed up and they kicked the big man on the outside but Lars came back with a freak accident to Lince Dorado. Okay, I know he's a SmackDown guy and he's taking advantage of the “wildcard rule” but it feels like he's a RAW guy. Why? Well, go ask WWE. They somehow messed up the brand split.

Ricochet vs Cesaro.

WWE Photo
The match was fine. Cesaro came out with new theme music and it's better than his old one but that's not saying much. Cesaro was aiming at Ricochet’s injured back and it got the best in Cesaro because Cesaro won the match with the Neutralizer.

Charly Caruso asked AJ Styles about his loss at Money In The Bank until Corbin came to just be an A-hole to AJ to which Styles slapped Corbin in the face.

Roman Reigns and Shane McMahon have some Unfinished Business.

Reigns can̢۪t stand spoiled rich kids, and he says his schedule is wide open.
Roman Reigns came out and he was about to say something until Shane came out to brag about his victory over The Miz at Money In The Bank. Shane then said that he was disgusted about how Roman superman punched his dad. Roman wanted to face Shane McMahon and he because he's a heel, didn't accept and he brought up Drew McIntyre. Oh, and Shane McMahon made the match between himself and Roman Reigns official at Super showdown.

After that, Shane McMahon was walking with Drew McIntyre backstage until Miz showed up and said that he's not done with Shane yet. Drew McIntyre replied by saying that if Miz has a problem with Shane then Miz has a problem with Drew McIntyre.

The Usos vs The Revival.

WWE Photo
A dream match that was unfortunately ruined by horrible “comedy” segments. However, they did dominant in the first half of the match. The Revival won in a very good tag team match with a roll up from Scott Dawson.

After that, Alexa Bliss was talking to a calm Nikki Cross and then The Revival interrupted their conversation.

Another instalment of the firefly fun house segment is here but the difference is that the firefly fun house intro was playing in a slow creepy loop.

A Moment of Bliss. Special Guest, Becky Lynch.

WWE Photo
Alexa Bliss introduced Becky Lynch and she asked how does it feel to be Becky one belt? The IIconics came out to ruin Becky’s mood and so did Lacey Evans when she showed up. Becky then said that he could slap The IIconics and Lacey Evans to which Nikki Cross offered some help. You know what that means?

Becky Lynch and Nikki Cross vs The IIconics and Lacey Evans.

WWE Photo
At one point, Lacey Evans left the ring and Becky Lynch and her teammate in Nikki Cross won the match with a leg drop from the middle rope. If that doesn't tell you that WWE Doesn't give a crap about the women's tag teams titles, I don't know what will.

Mick Foley to Unveil A New WWE Title.

The Hardcore Legend brings a new championship with him to the red brand.
Mick Foley told the production guys to cut the music to get right down to business. He mentioned that Monday Night RAW is missing something and also talked about how being a champion is something a superstar dreams about. Foley ended the segment by bringing up the 24/7 Championship belt which looks hideous.

The belt is pretty much the PG version of the hardcore championship in the sense that it can be defended any time, any place by anyone. Out came rest of the superstars in the locker room and they were fighting to take that championship until Titus O'Neil took the title and became the inaugural champion.

Then Robert Roode from behind pinned O'Neil and became WWE 24/7 champion. Also, the entire ring stage setup changed for some reason. To focus on the positive in this, I think the best part about this is that they're utilizing the rest of the roster that has been unused for God knows how long. But it didn't help me get excited about this because Mick announced it in the worst possible time.

The Miz vs Drew McIntyre.

WWE Photo
Shane McMahon interfered in the match which led to Drew hitting Miz with the claymore kick and won the match. After the match, Shane McMahon was about to beat up Miz with the help of Drew McIntyre until Roman Reigns came out to save The Miz. I've not seen a heel so dominant in quite some time like Shane McMahon right now.

After that, R Truth came to help Robert Roode hide but Truth hits him on the back of the car, pinned Roode and just like that, became the new champion.

Kofi Kingston and Seth Rollins vs Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley.

WWE Photo
This match was made a No DQ at the very last minute. The babyface team won the match with a trouble in paradise to Corbin to which Lashley speared both champions. Out came Lesnar and he wanted to cash in his contract but he obviously retreated. Yay!

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: The Usos vs The Revival.

Didn't like: Mick Foley announced the championship in the worst possible hour, WWE Women's Tag Team Championship is an afterthought after this episode aired.

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.  The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"  With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.  Eddie Kingston (wi...
