WWE NXT 8/5/19 | My Coherent Review.

This was a very good show and that's all I gotta say about that.

Mia Yim vs Bianca Belair.

This was surprisingly a good match. The match ended with Bianca Belair using the ropes for a pinfall but the ref saw it but then, Belair instead used her long hair to touch the ropes for a pinfall and just like that, she won the match. Honestly ever since her loss at Takeover New York, her momentum decreased a lot and a win from her makes a lot of sense.

After the match, there was a security camera footage played where the Viking Raiders were leaving and they were ambushed by the Forgotten Sons. So, next week they are gonna address something regarding the NXT Tag Team Championships for next week's show.

After that, a performance centre segment happened where Shayna and the gang were training in a ring until Io Shirai came and brawled with one of Shayna’s gang.

Raul Mendoza vs Riddick Moss.

First off, great to see Riddick Moss back in action. Secondly, this was pretty decent. Raul Mendoza picked up a W with a springboard twisting splash.

Matt Riddle vs Adam Cole.

Me describing this match doesn't do it justice because this was A FANTASTIC match. By the end of the match, Roderick Strong came out to help Cole get back up until Riddle went to the outside and kicked Strong right on the face which made the ref frustrated and went to Strong to get rid of the Undisputed Era member.

Meanwhile, while the ref wasn't seeing, Adam Cole superkicked Riddle and Riddle managed to survive in this match. Immediately after, Riddle delivered the bro mission and won the match.

After that great encounter, Adam Cole and Roderick Strong were arguing with each other in the ring while Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish were trying to separate the two. I'm glad they stretching this storyline out instead of pulling the trigger.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: The main event, Mia Yim vs Bianca Belair.

Didn't like: Nothing.

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.  The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"  With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.  Eddie Kingston (wi...
