WWE NXT 15/5/19 | My Coherent Review.

A lot of things happened on this show but that doesn't mean it was a great show or anything like that. It was fine for what it was.

The Viking Raiders Addresses The NXT Tag Team Championship.

Before this, they introduced Beth Phoenix as their new replacement for Percy Watson in the commentary which I'm okay with this decision. After this, The Viking Raiders said that they brutalized the RAW tag team division.

They then called out the NXT general manager in William Regal and the Viking Raiders told him that they wanna relinquish the titles. Out came The Street Profits and the duo in Dawkins and Ford said that they brought the fight in the Viking Raiders. Ford also said that deep down, The Street Profits can beat The Viking Raiders to which Dawkins said: “if that's your real name”. Good one.

The Viking Raiders took the belts from William Regal and told him to make the match which that's exactly what the NXT general manager did. This segment was fine. It did its job to progress this rivalry.

After that, Cathy Kelly asked Adam Cole who was the leader of The Undisputed Era considering what happened last week. Adam Cole said that the leader is still himself and then out came Roderick Strong. He told Adam that he took care of the problem basically insinuating that Roderick beat up Matt Riddle which led to Cole giving him the Undisputed Era arm band.

Keith Lee vs Cesaro Bononi.

This was an okay match. Keith Lee won the match with the spirit bomb.

After Cathy Kelly announced that Shayna Baszler will defend her NXT Women's Championship against Io Shirai at The next Takeover show now known as “NXT Takeover: XXV”, Kelly saw the Forgotten Sons going to William Regal’s office and she asked them why are they going to his office?

They basically replied by telling her that William Regal forgot the Forgotten Sons and they in The Street Profits will witness first hand why they don't forget them.

Kushida vs Kona Reeves.

During the match, Drew Gulak came out with no music and watches the match on the stage area. The match ended with the Kimura lock to Reeves and won the match. Interesting that Gulak was watching the match like that.

After this, Bianca Belair dragged Cathy Kelly to William Regal until Mia Yim stopped her. Bianca Belair told her that she's getting a title opportunity to which Mia Yim said that she went to William’s office for a rematch against the “undefeated” one. Their match last week was decent so I don't mind a rematch.

Speaking of a rematch, Johnny Gargano announced after he was asked about Matt Riddle’s attack from Roderick Strong that he will put his title on the line against Adam Cole at Takeover: XXV.

Vanessa Bourne vs Jessie.

Meh match. Vanessa Bourne won the match with a spinning neckbreaker.

Viking Raiders vs The Street Profits for the NXT Tag Team Championship.

Yo. This match was quick but it was pretty good. Lots of near falls despite being a pretty short match. The match ended in a DQ because of The Forgotten Sons and the Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch came out to beat up The Forgotten Sons and it turned into chaos. I read the spoilers and I know what happens with the status of the NXT tag team championship but I'm not gonna spoil it because I'm not an A-Hole.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: The NXT Tag Team Championship and the ending of that match.

Didn't like: Nothing really.

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

Let's Talk About The White Rabbit In The Room.

I haven't reviewed last year's show mainly because it was so good and clearly as extreme as any ECW match and I'm happy to tell all 3 of y'all that this one is better by several inches or so. Why? *slaps my bald head* HERE'S WHY. The opening match between Sheamus and Gunther's crew ruled harder than the Mongolian empire.  It was basically an enhanced version of Sheamus' match with Gunther last night on Smackdown and I loved it.  The Brawling Brutes' victory means one thing that is clearly obvious, a rematch between Sheamus and Gunther for the intercontinental championship aka the only series of rematches I don't mind.  Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan delivered in what was a wrestling match equivalent to the X-Men Dark Phoenix movie.  While Bianca Belair and Bayley had their equivalent to the first Iron Man movie in that it was decent.  Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross had an okay edition of the "Meaty men slapping meat".  That spear from Edge to...

A Few Thoughts On RAW And Smackdown: RAW wasn't GREAT!?

Since this blog will be less of a priority now considering I'm focusing on my podcast now (hit the 5 stars on Apple Podcast you sons of b*tches), I decided to share my few thoughts on RAW, Smackdown, I guess?  Smackdown.  The blue brand delivered yet another good episode this week and it's probably due to the fact that Braun Strowman taking out the Maximum Model is high-key funny as f**k.  The folks over at Titan Towers are bringing back the essence of their characters whether it's Kevin Owens, Shayna Baszler or in this case, Big Braun himself.   As a fan, you gotta love it, especially since in the case of Strowman, the dude hasn't been the same since he turned heel 4 years ago when feuding with Roman Reigns for the universal title.   Other noteworthy segments include Logan Paul challenging Roman Reigns for the big world universal multiverse galactic cinematic championship.  Imagine they pulled that match off 7 years ago back when Logan was on V...
