The 5 News Week: Los Angeles Could Be The Home For Wrestlemania 37?, Mojo Rawley Has An Odd New Debut Look.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.

A Rumoured NXT Money In The Bank Match Happening Or Nah?

Apparently, there was a “match leak graphic” that has been circulating around the interweb where the NXT superstars has a ladder match scheduled for Money In The Bank that includes Jaxson Ryker, Keith Lee, Matt Riddle, Adam Cole, Pete Dunne, Tyler Breeze ( A Raw superstar by the way) and Dominic Djakovic.

Dave Meltzer said in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that quote (quote via Wrestlingnews.co) “According to those in the know, not only is the poster a fake, but such a match has never been discussed.”

I actually believe this report considering that WWE likes to pretend that NXT doesn’t exist in certain storylines.

Los Angeles Could Be The Home For Wrestlemania 37?

Speaking of Dave Meltzer, he mentions in the observer that the new Los Angeles stadium at Hollywood Park (which holds about 80,240 fans) is expected to increase about 100,000 fans for major events such as the World Cup, Super Bowl and Olympic events.

The city of Los Angeles wants to use Wrestlemania for a 2021 date as a test run to fix any issues before the big Super Bowl event in 2022 but WWE wants to break the Super Bowl attendance record.

If Wrestlemania takes place in the city of angels then this is the first time WWE hosted a Wrestlemania in Los Angeles since Wrestlemania 21 where Triple H and Batista closed out that show for the big gold belt aka the world heavyweight championship.

Shane McMahon To Crown The New Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions This Coming Tuesday.

Shane McMahon is killing it as a heel in my opinion (even though I’m not a fan of his storyline with Roman Reigns) and he’s gonna crown new tag team champions this coming Tuesday. Will that episode's rating increase? My answer would be no but anything is possible.

Two Big Matches Advertised For RAW’s July 15th Episode.

The July 15th episode of RAW which will take place in the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York has two big matches locally advertised.

One is a Seth Rollins vs Baron Corbin match for the Universal Championship (yawn) and the other is a tag team match between Braun Strowman and AJ Styles vs Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre.

Mojo Rawley Has An Odd New Debut Look.

So. Mojo Rawley came out in a recent episode of Main Event with an odd new look. If you haven’t seen it I don’t blame you because nobody watches Main Event.

What do you think about the news I just reported and follow me on the tweets @omartheplayaguy. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Fyter Fest 2020 Came Back Swinging?

Last week, on this very series, I said that I enjoyed Great American Bash better than Fyter Fest.  Well, this week is the exact opposite. AEW came in swinging with night 2 Fyter Fest.  I've not liked a Dynamite episode in several weeks so it's nice to see that the show finally executed a great show since God knows how long.   NXT      Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Mia Yim vs Candice LeRae In A Street Fight. The match went underway after Yim quickly attacked Candice LeRae during LeRae's entrance.  In the crowd area, Candice tried to nail the suplex on the table but Yim got out of that position and kicked her to which she landed through the table.  The Streetfight concluded with LeRae striking Yim with the brass knuckles followed by a swinging neck from the top of the table onto a bunch of chairs and that's how LeRae defeats the HBIC.  A fun opening match even though...

THE Coherent AEW Take: Christian Dior, Dior. Eddie Kingston up in all the stores!

Ever since AEW Dynamite was on Saturday night for a bit, I've been WAY behind on AEW content so excuse my ignorance. And It's Full Gear weekend which means another PPV that would last longer than the Snyder cut.  Sheeit, I'll bet the collar and elbow hold alone from the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega championship match, is longer than the entire Queen's Crown tournament.  As far as how I feel about both programs this week, well.  They did an okay job on building towards the final AEW PPV of the year this Saturday. Rampage.   Highlights.  Bryan Danielson vs Anthony Bowens.  And no, the highlight doesn't include Max Caster's verses. I'll rather listen to f**king Riff Raff than Max Caster's dig on anything.  The worst part, people are probably going to look at this and say, "can't wait for a Max Caster's appearance on Wild 'N Out!"  With that being said, this opening match was good. Danielson wins with the rebel lock.  Eddie Kingston (wi...
