WWE Smackdown Live 2/4/19 | My Coherent Review.

This go home show for Smackdown Live felt like it was a go home show for Backlash and not for the biggest professional wrestling show of the year. It was an okay show but it could've been so much better.

The Kevin Owens show.

KO asks Orton why he interfered in AJ̢۪s match against Kurt Angle last week and if he̢۪s proud of doing so.
This show started with The Kevin Owens’ Show which now thinking about it, Owens should've returned the SmackDown Live after mania but that's a different topic. Owens then introduced his guests and that's Randy Orton and AJ Styles.

Kevin Owens asked Randy if Randy is proud of what he did last week? Orton replied with a yes and he also said that he saved the WWE universe from seeing the match between Styles and Angle which was funny.

Styles replied by saying that Randy has been in WWE for 20 years and only learned one move. Styles also said that when AJ was wrestling at high school gyms, Randy was in WWE getting himself suspended for drug violations (ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh).

This, of course, made Randy Orton mad and Randy said that Styles’ legacy ever since John Cena left to Hollywood is being a corporate bitch. Then both men had a brawl which led to Randy hitting an RKO, reversing the Phenomenal forearm in the process.

Good segment and I'm impressed how WWE has built this feud. Should be a killer match at Wrestlemania.

The Usos, Aleister Black and Ricochet vs The Bar, Rusev and Nakamura.

Decent match. After The team of The Usos, Aleister Black won the match with a double superkick from The Usos to Rusev, Alexa Bliss came out and she made a match between all of the Smackdown tag teams for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship this Sunday. Would've preferred a tag match between The Usos and The Hardy Boyz but whatever.

The IIconics Has A Word For Their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Opponents.

WWE Photo
The Australian duo cut a promo about how he could pin one of their opponents to become WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. That it's. That was the segment. This is worth a 5 minute YouTube video and not in a television segment.

The Miz vs Sanity. Three on One Handicap match.

WWE Photo
We go from one in-ring promo segment to another. Well, kinda considering that it led to a match. In it, Miz said that he's the best version of himself and called Shane a son of a bitch. During the match, Shane McMahon came out and made this match into a falls count anywhere. At one point, they brawl outside the arena. The Miz won the match by pushing a production cart of some sort on to Eric Young's face.

Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey have been released from the precinct.

She remembers last year at this time when she and Charlotte were the best of friends and Ronda Rousey was about to debut and says she “smacked the smugness off Charlotte Flair’s face at SummerSlam.”
Becky Lynch came out and grabbed a microphone from Corey Graves’ hand. The Man said that ever since she slapped the crap outta Charlotte at SummerSlam last year, she had to fight to be in this year's Wrestlemania in the main event and she's gonna be a double champion. This was okay.

An 18 Person Mixed Tag Team Match.

WWE Photo
An 18 person tag match? That's a first. this match apparently has no ending like which team who the match? The babyface team? The heel team? After the match, Asuka like Apollo Crews on RAW last night threw pretty much everybody over the top rope. Glad that Asuka got that spotlight but the ending to this match made no sense whatsoever.

Ali vs Samoa Joe.

WWE Photo
The match ended with Samoa Joe reversed the 450 splash and instead delivered the clutch and won the match. Still can't get used to calling Mustafa Ali as just Ali.

WWE Championship Contract Signing.

Kofi Kingston and The New Day bound to the squared circle for the contract signing.
Michael Cole is moderating the contract signing apparently. After The New Day came out to the ring, the crowd started to chant “Kofi, Kofi, Kofi” while Daniel Bryan was cutting a promo. Daniel Bryan then called the crowd parricides and told Kofi that he doesn't feed off the crowd but rather the crowd feeds off Kofi.

Kofi Kingston replied by saying that Daniel doesn't know who Kofi Kingston is considering that Daniel hasn't waited for 11 years to get a singles WWE championship match and Kofi Kingston will become WWE champion for the first ever. Decent end segment and I'm hoping that we as fans get to see the payoff of this storyline.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: The Kevin Owens show.

Didn't like: A 17 Person Mixed Tag Team Match, The IIconics Has A Word For Their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Opponents.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
