WWE RAW 1/4/19 | My Coherent Review.

Was this a good go home show? I would say so. This episode of Monday Night RAW was a good show and did a pretty good job at building anticipation for Wrestlemania 35. However, this ain't RAW without questionable booking decisions.

Stephanie McMahon Has A Big Announcement.

… April Fools!
The go home show for RAW kicked off with Stephanie McMahon and apparently, she has a BIG announcement. That announcement is McMahon is in the RAW Women's championship match At Wrestlemania which was probably the lamest April fools joke I've ever heard.

The real announcement is that the RAW Women's championship and the SmackDown Live women's championship are all on the line. In other words, it's winner takes all. Short segment but I saw that coming. If you hate Stephanie then I'm sure that this segment doesn't bother you all that much considering that it's not a typical Stephanie McMahon segment you know what I mean?

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman Are On This Episode of RAW (No shit, Omar).

The Kingslayer says everything changes for Lesnar after WrestleMania, and he tells Lesnar that no one wants him here.
Paul Heyman said that Brock Lesnar will take all that Seth Rollins has to offer at Wrestlemania. “Seth Rollins didn't offer you a prediction. Seth Rollins gave you a spoiler.” Paul Heyman said and minutes later, out came Seth Rollins himself. Seth Rollins cut a promo about how nobody wants Brock Lesnar and are sick of seeing him.

Seth Rollins ended the promo by saying that he's gonna beat Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania which led to Seth hitting Brock with 2 low blows and a stomp. I'm not gonna lie, I like this segment and the best part about this segment is that it made Seth Rollins look like a worthy challenger.

Sasha Banks, Bayley, Natalya and Beth Phoenix vs The IIconics, Nia Jax and Tamina.

WWE Photo
I would've saved Beth Phoenix’s in-ring return for this Sunday but this was an okay match. The team of Sasha banks, Bayley, Natalya and Beth Phoenix won the match with the glam slam to Peyton Royce.

Batista Told Triple H What?

WWE Photo
Batista came out with his great theme song and the animal said three words and that's “ kiss my ass”. Another short segment but considering that Batista said in a promo package that Triple H has never beaten him, you know who's gonna win that no holds barred match.

After that, there was a segment in which Elias was near the entrance of Metlife stadium and he basically said that Elias’ Concert at Wrestlemania is bigger than any Concert ever.

Apollo Crews vs Jinder Mahal.

WWE Photo
After Apollo Crews won the match with a splash, a brawl happened between all the rest of the competitors in the Battle Royal and Apollo Crews threw almost everybody on the top rope which made Apollo Crews look good for the first time in years and you know what? I like it but I don't think that he's gonna win the whole thing, unfortunately.

Kurt Angle’s final RAW appearance I think.

Suddenly, Rey Mysterio hits the ring and says someone needs to teach him a lesson in respect.
Kurt Angle came out and after that, a great promo package was played in the titantron about his career. Out came Baron Corbin and he said that the video should've been black and white because that's ancient history. Kurt Angle told him that if you wanna face him then let's do it right now and Corbin backed out. Rey Mysterio came out and he wants to teach Corbin a lesson. This was okay however like I said, that promo package was awesome.

Aleister Black and Aleister Black vs The Revival for the RAW Tag team championship.

WWE Photo
This was a good match actually. Love the series of pins by Ricochet. The match, unfortunately, ended in a count out victory. So, at this point, a rematch is coming, right? RIGHT?

Ronda Rousey was interviewed by Charly Caruso and Rousey said that Sunday will be Judgement for Becky and Charlotte.

Also, something that happened backstage, Alexa Bliss, Tyler Breeze and EC3 were talking to each other until Braun Strowman showed up and EC3 stopped laughing. Braun then saw two guys that look like the guys over at Saturday Night Live according to Braun Strowman and told them that he's gonna meet them in the ring.

Another backstage interview. This time it was conducted by Dasha and she asked Roman Reigns if he's 100% ready for Wrestlemania which led to Drew McIntyre beating the crap out of Roman Reigns.

Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair vs The Riott Squad.

WWE Photo
Love the stipulation that the first women in the team of Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch to betray one another in this tag match will be out of WrestleMania main event. The team of Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch won the match with the armbar to Liv Morgan and then a brawl between the participants in the main event of Wrestlemania which led to law enforcement handcuffed Charlotte, Becky and Ronda. Look, I cannot wait to see this match and I love the fact that all of those women had intensity. This was an attitude era segment in a PG show basically.

Heavy Machinery vs Bobby Roode and Chad Gable.

WWE Photo
During the match, Lacy Evans shows up and leaves as usual. Heavy Machinery won with a double team manoeuvre to Chad Gable.

Braun Strowman vs Local Jobbers.

WWE Photo

If you read the “local jobbers” part of the title above then you'll know what happened in this match. Braun Strowman won the match with the running slam.

Bobby Lashley’s Interview with Charly Caruso.

The Man of the Hour is only concerned with where the after-party will be after WrestleMania.
Bobby Lashley was asked by Charly Caruso if Bobby can beat the demon to which Finn Balor showed up in the titantron with the demon face paint. This was a good way to show the demon on RAW and I like it.

Baron Corbin vs Rey Mysterio.

WWE Photo
At one point in this match, Baron Corbin was giving Rey Mysterio a mugging. The match ended with Baron Corbin hitting a deep six to Rey Mysterio and just like that, he won the match. After the match, Kurt Angle came out and delivered an ankle lock to Corbin. You know, Rey has a title match at Wrestlemania, right? So, why did Rey lose the match like that? I don't get it but maybe Rey will gain some momentum tomorrow night on SmackDown Live? We shall see.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins interacting before their match at Wrestlemania, Apollo Crews looking good going into the Battle Royal at Wrestlemania (but we all know that he's not gonna win it but anything is possible), The RAW Tag Team Title match, the ending to the Ronda Rousey? Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch vs The Riott Squad match, The Demon showed up via the titantron.

Didn't like: Rey losing before his title match with Samoa Joe.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
