WWE NXT 6/3/19 | My Coherent Review.

The first series of matches in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament has finally arrived but was it that good? Hell yea it was. If you just wanna watch guys wrestle then this is the episode for you.

Before I get to talk about NXT this week, it has been confirmed by WWE that Tommaso Ciampa will undergo neck surgery later today considering that WWE announced it around 14 hours ago. Dave Meltzer first broke the story on the Wrestling Observer Radio (click here to listen the full audio on this).

By the way, I read an article from Rothmanorto.com about the Anterior Cervical Fusion recovery process and it takes 3 to 6 months but the result may depend on the patient so keep that in mind. I wish Ciampa nothing but a speedy recovery and will see how the NXT championship scene goes from here.

Aleister Black and Ricochet vs Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel.

That springboard moonsault to Ricochet from Aichner was PICTURE PERFECT. Anyways, This was a great match. No shocker, the team of Aleister Black and Ricochet won the match with the black mass to Fabian Aichner. What an encounter between all four men.

After the match, a rematch between Dominic Djakovic vs Keith Lee has been scheduled for NXT in two weeks. My wish came true guys. Can't wait.

The Forgotten Sons vs Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch.

WWE Photo
This was a hard hitting match. Oney Lorcan was selling his injured back and that was a big disadvantage because The Forgotten Sons won the match with a powerbomb into a backstabber.

Immediately after that, The Velveteen Dream came out and stands on the announce table. Velveteen Dream grabbed a microphone and he reminded everybody that he's the North American champion.

The Original Bro, Matt Riddle came out and he said that he wants to take a closer look at that championship and wonders how it would look like around his waist. The Dream replied by putting a spotlight on him which was perfection.

A match between The Velveteen Dream and The Original Bro for the North American Championship? Sign me up.

A number one contender's match has announced for NXT TV next week between Io Shirai and Bianca Belair. Looking forward to that.

Moustache Mountain vs Street Profits.

Another good tag team match. Moustache Mountain won the match with a reverse fireman's carry from Trent Seven into a stomp from Tyler Bate. This was a shocker for me given that Trent Seven and Tyler Bate are currently on the NXT UK roster and I thought this was an easy win from the Street Profits.

Undisputed Era vs #DIY.

Nice to hear the #DIY theme song. The match itself was fantastic. The team of Johnny Gargano won the match with the #DIY kick or at least that's what I call it.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Every single tag match in that tournament so far.

Didn't like: Nothing.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
