WWE RAW 18/2/19 | My Coherent Review.

The NXT calls up made this show a bit better but overall, this show was not only forgettable but as well as it was a visual Nyquil.

Opening segment.

Triple H threatens to have Becky Lynch arrested if she attacks again, but personally, he thought it was pretty damn cool.
This show started off with Triple H and cut a promo basically saying that history was made last night and also talked about DX being inducted into the WWE hall of fame (congrats to them).

After that, Triple H announced two things. One, 5 NXT talents will be in action tonight and showed a great video package highlighting those men. They are Ricochet, Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. Two, a tables match between Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin (sigh).

I don't know if that's an official call up but considering that WWE hasn't done pretty anything with the other NXT call ups, I'm not optimistic about how WWE creative books them in the near future.

Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin in a tables match.

Braun Strowman won the match with a running powerslam through a table. Seriously, end this rivalry already.

After the match, Paul Heyman came out to the ring with a microphone on his hand and basically played a very good video package about Brock Lesnar's dominance in the WWE.

Then, Paul Heyman reminded everyone that Brock Lesnar conquered The Undertaker's undefeated streak at Wrestlemania 30 which got no reaction from the crowd. After that, Finn Balor strangely came out which led to another in-ring promo segment. This segment is like a typical Monday Night RAW episode these days, forgettable.

Finn Balor In Ring Promo Time.

After Balor was talking about how he's going to defend the championship, Out came Lio Rush with a sad look on his face and he said that Finn doesn't deserve to be Intercontinental championship but Bobby Lashley does which led to a sneak attack from Bobby Lashley. Out came Ricochet to save Finn Balor from a beatdown. You know what that means……

Ricochet and Finn Balor vs Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley.

This was an okay match I guess. The team of Ricochet and Finn Balor won the match with Ricochet delivered the 430 splash to Lio Rush.

Lucha House Party vs Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins.

WWE Photo
Before the match started, they played a video package about what happened by the end of the Ronda Rousey vs Ruby Riott match. That should tell you how WWE actually cares about the RAW tag team division. Anyways, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins lost again with a hurricanrana from Lince to Hawkins.

After the match, there was an interaction between Lacey Evans and Heavy Machinery which overall was meh.

Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano vs The Revival.

WWE Photo
A rematch from NXT Takeover Toronto two years ago but was it any good? No, but it was decent. This was a match that was hard to book on who's gonna win and the fact that WWE wants to make Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa look good so I don't mind The Revival. The Revival lost the match with a DIY kick.

After that, Kevin Owens cut a promo with his smartphone camera in an I'm assuming a movie theatre?

Bayley and Sasha Banks cut a promo about their win last night.

WWE Photo
They basically said that they've been through a lot and the boss ‘n hug connection are gonna plan to defend those titles like every other champion ever. Nia Jax and Tamina came out and Nia said that every time Sasha wins a women's championship, she loses on her first defence which led to a short brawl between all those women. Well, that was a waste of my time.

Drew McIntyre vs Dean Ambrose.

WWE Photo
That match ended quickly. Drew McIntyre won the match with not one but two claymore kicks to Ambrose.

Elias Concert With An Interruption Because Why Not?

WWE Photo
After an awkward confrontation backstage between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, Elias had a concert but he was interrupted by none other than Aleister Black which led to a match between those two guys. Aleister Black won the match with the black mass.

Ronda Rousey vs Ruby Riott for the RAW Women's championship.

WWE Photo
A rematch from the Elimination Chamber PPV last night and it was decent actually. Ronda Rousey retained with the armbar submission to Ruby Riott. After the match, Ronda laid waste on Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan and that's how the show ended. I was happy that this show was over because like I said earlier, this show was boring.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Didn’t like: Paul Heyman segment, Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin, Bayley and Sasha Banks cut a promo about their win last night.

Top 7 Best TV Wrestling Matches Of 2020.

2020 was to quote the 5 News Week Look Back article , "eventful, awful, wild and surprisingly quick."  That doesn't mean there weren't some good wrestling to watch on television so here it is.  My and I repeat MY top 5 best TV matches of 2020. some images via WWE.com #7 Cody Rhodes vs Darby Allin. AEW TNT Championship Semi-Finals Bout.  This list includes two matches that starred two people with fantastic chemistry. One of them is this gem of an encounter between Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin. All elite wrestling has introduced a brand new championship for the mid-card and was contested via a good old fashioned tournament.  The matches were fine but one of them stood out amongst the rest.  That, of course, being the Cody Rhodes vs Darby Allin bout at the tournament's semi-finals.  Allin actually pulled off a crossrhodes that looked so good that I don't mind him adding it to his arsenal.   The finish was executed a bit poorly which is why it is lower...

WWE Smackdown 25/10/19 | My Coherent Review.

Another disappointing episode of Friday night Smackdown but it was a bit better this week. Still, a meh episode.  Miz TV. Special Guest, Team Hulk Hogan And Team Ric Flair.  Both team Hulk Hogan and team Flair were guests on the latest edition of Miz TV or at least most of it due to a brand split. Hulk Hogan mentioned in his promo that he's put out the greatest team Hulkamania of all time (are the mega powers and Brutus Beefcake a joke to you brother?)  Ric Flair replied by basically saying that his team will beat Hogan's team at Crown Jewel. Sami Zayn made a short joke and Gable tells Zayn that he embraces who he is.  Roman Reigns called King Corbin stupid to which Hogan proposed a match in the main event of this episode between most of team Hogan vs most of team Flair in a 6 man tag team match.  Sami on behalf of the team, refused to accept that but after Hogan said something to Nakamura in Japanese, Sami told Hogan that the 6 man tag ma...
