WWE Crown Jewel | My Coherent Review.

This show reminds me of a typical Monday night RAW episode in the sense that It was skippable and if I didn't watch the show itself, I wouldn't miss anything. In other words, it sucked and here's why.

Rey Mysterio vs Randy Orton

Man, Randy Orton arguably has the best dropkick in WWE. The match was decent. Rey won with a sunset flip into a roll up, then Randy outta nowhere delivered an RKO to Rey
Mysterio and assaults Mysterio on the outside. I mean I don’t mind this considering that Randy has to look good with his heel run so far.

The Miz vs Jeff Hardy

The match was rather quick in my opinion. The A-Lister won the match with the Skull crushing finale.

Seth Rollins vs Bobby Lashley

Man, this first round tournament other than the first match was not only quick in match length but also rather dull in my opinion. Rollins won the match with the stomp (terrible name).

Kurt Angle vs Dolph Ziggler

The match that I’m looking forward to but was it good? No, but it was decent. The best match in the tournament so far and Kurt did look good in this match. Ziggler won with the Zig Zag.

The New Day vs The Bar for the Smackdown Live Tag Team Championship

Decent match. The match ended with the Big Show gave the KO punch to Big E without the referee seeing it and immediately Sheamus delivered the brogue kick to Big E to retain the titles.

The Miz vs Rey Mysterio Semi finals match

This match was straight borefest. My goodness, what a boring match. The Miz won with him reversing the 619 from Rey Mysterio into a small package.

Seth Rollins vs Dolph Ziggler Semifinals match

By far the best thing on that show, a very good match. Dolph Ziggler won with a superkick via distraction from Seth Rollins

AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe for the WWE championship

Look, I don’t want to be hit with a Samoa Joe suicide dive. Man, that was brutal. The match was okay with a quick ending. Styles hit a phenomenal forearm to Joe and just like that, he retains the championship.

Braun Strowman vs Brock Lesnar for the Universal championship

What did I just witness? That was awful like I get it because Braun hit Corbin with three powerslams and Baron Corbin holds a grudge because of that hence, Corbin hitting Braun with the championship belt. I’m going to assume that this screw up will lead to WWE having a 5 on 5 survivor series match between team Kurt vs team baron and who wins will be general manager of RAW but I could be wrong. Brock is your new Universal champion. This was laughably bad.

The Miz vs Dolph Ziggler Finals match

Well, it was supposed to be The Miz vs Dolph Ziggler but Miz couldn’t complete due to an “injury” and Shane instead took Miz’s place. What. In. The. Actual. Fuck.

I mean why couldn’t Rey Mysterio win that match with The Miz in the semi-finals? Shane actually won with the coast to coast. In other words, none of the competitors from that tournament actually won the whole thing. Did Vince Russo wrote this like *laughing profusely”

The Brothers Of Destruction vs DX

I will say this, Shawn looked good in this match. Triple H, unfortunately, hurt his right shoulder after taking the bump over the turnbuckle on the outside. Wish him a speedy recovery, however, match itself was boring. DX won with Triple H delivered a pedigree to Kane.

Look, I know the answer to this question but what do think about Crown Jewel? Sounds off in the comments below and follow the blog for honest pro wrestling opinions. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
