WWE Evolution | My Coherent Review.

Evolution had a piss poor build up going in and those types of build-ups will usually end up with a solid show but was this an exception? I would somewhat say yes considering that I liked certain things about this show as well as the things that I didn't like and here's why.

Trish Stratus and Lita vs Alicia Fox and Mickie James

WWE Photo

A decent opener in my opinion. There was a point in the match where Trish hit a beautiful sit out spinebuster to a near fall. The match ended with Trish delivered the stratusfaction to Mickie James but Alicia broke the count. Immediately after that, Lita hit the Twist fate followed by a moonsault on both Mickie James and Alicia Fox and the team of Trish and Lita won the match.

20 Women Battle Royal number one contender match for a title opportunity.

That was a pretty good battle royal in my opinion but the finish was rather odd. I don't hate that Nia won the match because Ronda Rousey had a good match with Nia 4 months ago so I don't mind a rematch. However, I would much prefer Ember Moon facing Rousey just because it feels fresh and different at the same time but it is what it is.

Toni Storm vs Io Shirai Mae Young classic tournament finals match

WWE Photo

Good match and by the way, what a tournament this was. During the match, Shirai delivered an amazing moonsault to Toni Storm on the outside but that, unfortunately, wasn't enough because Toni Storm won that match with the Strom Zero. Congratulations to Toni Storm for winning the second annual mae young classic tournament.

Sasha Banks, Bayley and Natalya vs The Riott Squad

WWE Photo

This match was longer than it needed to be in my opinion. Anyways, The team of Sasha banks, Bayley and Natalya won that match with Sasha Delivered a frog splash to Liv Morgan.

Kari Sane vs Shayna Baszler for the NXT women's championship

WWE Photo

Brutal but a solid match. The way Shayna stomps on Kari's arm is and will always look cringe-worthy. The match ended with Marina Shafir delivered a kick on Kari's face followed by Baszler's clutch submission and just like that she's the first ever two-time NXT women's champion.

Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch for the SmackDown women's championship

WWE Photo

No WWE, there was a last women's standing match before and that was between Asuka and Nikki cross for the NXT women's championship and that happened a year ago.

This reminds me when WWE promoted the Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks match at RoadBlock; End Of The Line and they proclaimed it as "the first ever iron women's match" which it wasn't and by the way, they added fake boos in the promo package which was ridiculous.

But nevertheless, this was a great match. Becky Lynch retains the championship with Becky hitting a powerbomb through the table to a count of 10. Outstanding performance by those two. I'm really curious as to where the Smackdown Women's championship scene goes from here.

Ronda Rousey vs Nikki Bella for the RAW women's championship

WWE Photo
This match was one big MEH. Ronda retains the championship with the armbar submission on Nikki Bella. That wasn't a good way to end the show, to be honest.

Well, that's all folks I hope you enjoyed my coherent review and if you did then follow the blog for honest pro wrestling opinions and comment below on what do you think about Evolution last night? Anyways, stay safe smarks.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
