WWE Smackdown Live 4/9/18 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown live was far better leagues of RAW in terms of PPV build ups. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna tell you what's good and what's ok and the reason why there's no what's bad is because I didn't find anything particularly bad about it. Without further ado, here's my honest coherent review of this episode of Smackdown live.

WHAT'S GOOD

The sit-down interview between Becky Lynch and Charlotte

The interview starts with Becky getting a babyface reaction after Tom mentions Charlotte. Then Charlotte said that Becky said that (I dare you to say that sentence 20 times) in order to be the best, you have to beat the best and from there they were arguing but that argument sounded genuine and that's why I liked this so much.

The only thing I don't like about this feud so far is the according to the crowd reaction, Becky is the babyface and Charlotte is a heel understandably so.

When Samoa Joe shouts "Wendy", It never gets old. The promo he cut goes like this, he basically stated that joe beating AJ actually made him care about his family. Until AJ comes out to the ring and wasted no time to both beat the crap out of each other. This feud, in my opinion, needs a hell in a cell match stipulation.

WHAT'S OK

The opening segment

The show starts with Renee welcoming everyone to smackdown live which by the way, sounded much better than how Stephanie used to start her promo by welcoming everybody to RAW.

She's there so that she can have an in-ring interview with none other than Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella and they came out with yes chants and Renee showed footage of the miz and Maryse calling out Bryan and brie earlier that night with no one in the arena.

Daniel Bryan basically calls the miz a coward for doing that. Outcomes Andrade cien almas and Zelina Vega and then I went to the bathroom so I didn't really catch up on what they said but that lead to the first match of the night and speaking of which.....

Daniel Bryan vs Andrade cien almas

Solid match. That dropkick by Andrade looked brutal but also fantastic at the same time. Daniel wins with the running knee. Then the miz and Maryse appears via "satellite" on an Italian restaurant and basically said that they will embarrass them at hell in a cell. For some odd reason, I'm really curious as to what they ate at that Italian restaurant.

Peyton Royce vs Naomi

Quick match to be honest. Naomi wins with the roll up until she got beat up by the iconics until Asuka's music hit. Asuka then Storms into the ring and cleared out the ring by beating both Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. Meh.

Tag team triple threat match

The match was decent. Better than the other tag team triple threat match last week. Rusev day wins the match with the machka kick. The bar's music hit and gave Rusev and English we are the bar sign. Should be a good match nevertheless.

R truth vs the Miz

Man those backstage segments with truth have been comedic gold. I wanna see more of this and I hope that he and tye Dillinger are in the title contention at some point. Anyways, the match itself was ok though.

By the end of the match, Daniel Bryan's music hits and that distracted miz which provided R truth a big win via a roll up. Then Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella were beating up both miz and Maryse until Zelina vega pulled brie to the outside while Andrade threw bryan into the steel steps until both Bryan and brie outta nowhere pulled both vega and almas, put them into the yes lock and that's how smackdown live ended. It's far better than how RAW ended last night I'll tell you that much.

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

Let's Talk About The White Rabbit In The Room.

I haven't reviewed last year's show mainly because it was so good and clearly as extreme as any ECW match and I'm happy to tell all 3 of y'all that this one is better by several inches or so. Why? *slaps my bald head* HERE'S WHY. The opening match between Sheamus and Gunther's crew ruled harder than the Mongolian empire.  It was basically an enhanced version of Sheamus' match with Gunther last night on Smackdown and I loved it.  The Brawling Brutes' victory means one thing that is clearly obvious, a rematch between Sheamus and Gunther for the intercontinental championship aka the only series of rematches I don't mind.  Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan delivered in what was a wrestling match equivalent to the X-Men Dark Phoenix movie.  While Bianca Belair and Bayley had their equivalent to the first Iron Man movie in that it was decent.  Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross had an okay edition of the "Meaty men slapping meat".  That spear from Edge to...

A Few Thoughts On RAW And Smackdown: RAW wasn't GREAT!?

Since this blog will be less of a priority now considering I'm focusing on my podcast now (hit the 5 stars on Apple Podcast you sons of b*tches), I decided to share my few thoughts on RAW, Smackdown, I guess?  Smackdown.  The blue brand delivered yet another good episode this week and it's probably due to the fact that Braun Strowman taking out the Maximum Model is high-key funny as f**k.  The folks over at Titan Towers are bringing back the essence of their characters whether it's Kevin Owens, Shayna Baszler or in this case, Big Braun himself.   As a fan, you gotta love it, especially since in the case of Strowman, the dude hasn't been the same since he turned heel 4 years ago when feuding with Roman Reigns for the universal title.   Other noteworthy segments include Logan Paul challenging Roman Reigns for the big world universal multiverse galactic cinematic championship.  Imagine they pulled that match off 7 years ago back when Logan was on V...
