WWE Mae Young Classic S02 E01 | My Coherent Review.

Hello my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to my coherent and honest Mae young classic tournament review and overall this is a good hour of wrestling that made me feel I want more.

Before I talk about the matches, I want to give my quick thoughts on the commentary and It was a step up to last year's. Micheal Cole,  Renee Young and Beth Phoenix all did a great job in not only telling a story in the square circle but also filling the excitement and passion about this entire tournament and you can tell it just by listening to them. Anyways, on with the review.

Tegan Nox vs Zatara

Tegan nox was supposed to be in last year's mae young classic tournament but she tore her ACL. This is, in fact, a comeback story for nox (No shit, Omar). There was a point in the match where zatara told the fans to shut up which was funny in my opinion. Anyways, the overall match was decent. Zatara was aiming for nox's knee and did submissions that I don't know, to be honest. Tegan nox wins with the shining wizard

Rhea Ripley vs MJ Jenkins

Since last year's mae young classic. Ripley had a completely gimmick/ attitude change. She went from an innocent girl next door type of character to a punk rock, no shits given attitude type of character which I actually like. This match was better than the opening match. During the match, Ripley hit a brutal looking dropkick to Jenkins that send Jenkins to the outside. Ripley wins with that pump handle powerbomb which looked amazing by the way.

Lacey lane vs Vanessa Kraven

Right off the bat, Vanessa Kraven reminds me of Kevin thorn from the revived ECW brand. Feels like I’m burying her just by saying that. At one point, Kraven did a spinning sidewalk slam which looked good but that didn't get her to take the W because lacey lane wins with the crucifix bomb into a pin. Not a bad match.

Killer Kelly vs Meiko Satomura

Killer Kelly by the way, looks like an actual killer. To be honest with you, this is my first time seeing Meiko wrestle in the ring and she impressed the crap outta me.  Not only this match was hard hitting but as well as the match of the night. My goodness, what a match. When Meiko did a back flop of some sort and hit killer Kelly's head just looked brutal. Not surprised if she got a concussion from that. Meiko wins with a death valley driver.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my take on the first round tournament of the mae young classic. Let me know what is your favourite match of that episode and follow the blog for honest pro wrestling opinions. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.  It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.  pictures via wwe.com Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.  The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.  Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.  The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).  Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.  Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.  The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.  If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it be...

WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff | My Coherent Review.

via WWE I don't watch or review the first NXT UK Takeover for some odd reason but I'm so glad I did because that was like the main NXT Takeovers, was absolutely great to watch. I'm just speechless and if you have watched the show then you'll know why (also, if you somehow didn't watch this show, what are you doing? Go and treat yourself with some wrestling goodness.) Noam Dar vs Travis Banks.  A very enjoyable opening match. Noam Dar proves that he's great at what he does with so many submission holes because if you don't know, I'm a technical wrestling connoisseur. Noam Dar won the match with a standing shining wizard.  Cesaro vs Ilja Dragunov. Always great to see Cesaro do what he does best and that's a fight inside the square circle. So, Ilja called out Cesaro because Cesaro's looking for an open challenge and Cesaro obviously picked his challenger.  The Swiss Cyborg started off this match by throwing Dragunov to the outside ...
