ALL IN 2018 | My Coherent Review.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to my first ever wrestling review outside of the WWE called ALL IN. One of the most anticipated PPV of this year. At least to me at any rate. Did it live up to the anticipation? I would say yes. Without further ado, here's my coherent, honest review of ALL IN.

Matt Cross vs MJF

I missed most of that match because I was in the bathroom but I did can the closing end of the match and it was fine for what it was.  Matt cross with this match and MJF looks and screams a prick, asshole type heel (No shit, omar).

Christopher Daniels vs Stephen Amell

Good match. Early in the match, Amell delivered a dropkick which looked good. During the match, Amell hit a coast to coast that made Shane McMahon proud. Christopher Daniels then hit a moonsault but it barely connected.

Stephen Amell then tried to hit the elbow drop on Daniels through the table but hit himself instead through the table.

The match ends with Christopher Daniels delivering a moonsault to Amell to win this match. Again, good match and Amell looked good in this and I wanna see more of him, to be honest.

Tessa Blanchard vs Chelsea Green vs Madison Rayne vs Britt Baker

That was an entertaining match. Tessa was the MVP of that match. During the match, Madison Rayne did a crossbody to the entire participants of that match. Then Britt baker went on a series of sling blades.

Chelsea green hit the woo kick made famous by her boyfriend Zach Ryder. The match ends with Tessa hitting the hammerlock DDT to green to win the match.

This match was so great that I'm watching that match on repeat.
WWE would be clueless if they didn't sign Blanchard.

Cody vs Nick Aldis for the NWA Heavyweight championship

Cody's entrance was a great thing to watch with the addition of his dog. The match itself was solid.

At one point, Cody hit a beautiful suicide dive. Earl Hebner gave the X sign. After that, Sean Davari basically disrespected Cody with that shove and then DDP delivered the diamond cutter to Davari to even the odds. At this point, Cody was heavily bleeding.

Cody Rhodes tried to hit the Alabama slam but was unsuccessful because of the injured back and then Cody was in the Alabama slam position and gave a quick spin to only then successfully hit the Alabama Slam.

Aldis hit the elbow drop on Brandi to protect her beaten down husband to the chants of "asshole" which was funny. The match ends with Cody hitting the sunset flip to quickly pin and win the match and the NWA Heavyweight championship. Congrats to Cody on his win.

Hangman Page vs Joey Janela

One of the highlights of that was page hitting a moonsault to joey. Now thinking about it, almost every match at one point hit a moonsault.

Page hit a fallaway slam to joey on the steel chair which looked brutal. Joey then rolls up the cracker barrel like that snes donkey Kong game.

Joey then hit the death valley driver to page on the middle rope.

After that page put joey on the ladder with that fireman's carry move that I don't know. Penelope was hammering on page and then joey hit the splash to page on the table.

Then on the stage page hit a running powerbomb to joey through the table. The match ends with page hitting Joey with that landline phone and delivered the hidden passage on joey through the table to win this match.

Chaotic match and is it me being obvious or is it that the people with the penis costumes carrying page remind me when the undertaker used to carry his opponents or something like that?

Jay Lethal vs Flip Gordon for the ROH world championship.

First off, nice to see black machismo. Second, the match was fine. Gordon at one point multiple suicide dives to Lethal.

Lethal hit I believe it was three elbow drops and then Gordon channelling his inner Hulk Hogan to gain momentum of course. Lethal wins the match with the modified cutter.

After the match, both competitors hug it out and then outta nowhere bully ray came out with clotheslining both men. Colt Cabana comes out to save them and then hit the triple powerbomb on bully ray on the table.

Pentagon jr vs Kenny Omega

A very, very, very good match. Kenny is so quick with his moves like the dragon suplex or the death valley driver he gave. At one match, Pentagon hit the package piledriver and Kenny sold it like a pro shout out to him. Kenny then hit the package piledriver of his own to a close near fall.

The match ends with Kenny hitting the v trigger and the Omega hitting the one winged angel to win this match. After the match, he got his ass kicked by Pentagon jr, unmasks himself and it was revealed it was Chris Jericho which I was surprised. Shout out to Chris Jericho for that shocking reveal. When was the last I ever saw a moment like this? A long time is all I'll say.

Mary Scrull vs kazuchika Okada

Started out slow but it picked up very well because that was match of the night in my opinion. That DDT from Okada head first on the outside looked devastating. Okada wins with the double beautiful rainmakers. Again what a match. I'm definitely watching that match on repeat.

Kota Ibushi and The young bucks vs Fenix, Bandido, Rey Mysterio.

And your main event of a four-hour show. That interaction with Ibushi and Mysterio gave me some goosebumps.

One of the highlights of that match was Matt Jackson of the young bucks hitting the cannonball to pretty much everybody in this match. The golden elite wins with the 5 star meltzer driver. Not the way I would've ended that show but it was a fun match nevertheless.

Sounds off in the comments on what do you think about ALL IN and follow the blog for honest pro wrestling opinions. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

Let's Talk About The White Rabbit In The Room.

I haven't reviewed last year's show mainly because it was so good and clearly as extreme as any ECW match and I'm happy to tell all 3 of y'all that this one is better by several inches or so. Why? *slaps my bald head* HERE'S WHY. The opening match between Sheamus and Gunther's crew ruled harder than the Mongolian empire.  It was basically an enhanced version of Sheamus' match with Gunther last night on Smackdown and I loved it.  The Brawling Brutes' victory means one thing that is clearly obvious, a rematch between Sheamus and Gunther for the intercontinental championship aka the only series of rematches I don't mind.  Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan delivered in what was a wrestling match equivalent to the X-Men Dark Phoenix movie.  While Bianca Belair and Bayley had their equivalent to the first Iron Man movie in that it was decent.  Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross had an okay edition of the "Meaty men slapping meat".  That spear from Edge to...

A Few Thoughts On RAW And Smackdown: RAW wasn't GREAT!?

Since this blog will be less of a priority now considering I'm focusing on my podcast now (hit the 5 stars on Apple Podcast you sons of b*tches), I decided to share my few thoughts on RAW, Smackdown, I guess?  Smackdown.  The blue brand delivered yet another good episode this week and it's probably due to the fact that Braun Strowman taking out the Maximum Model is high-key funny as f**k.  The folks over at Titan Towers are bringing back the essence of their characters whether it's Kevin Owens, Shayna Baszler or in this case, Big Braun himself.   As a fan, you gotta love it, especially since in the case of Strowman, the dude hasn't been the same since he turned heel 4 years ago when feuding with Roman Reigns for the universal title.   Other noteworthy segments include Logan Paul challenging Roman Reigns for the big world universal multiverse galactic cinematic championship.  Imagine they pulled that match off 7 years ago back when Logan was on V...
